None. Inkbrand's gets his brush and ink regularly enchanted by an old unicorn friend of his so that he can carry on his business, but he himself has no conscious control over any magic, like most Earth Ponies.
Occupation :
Tattoo artist and designer. Inkbrand uses a regular thin paintbrush to do his work, but the magic on both the brush and his inks allows them to sink under fur and skin. He offers two grades of inking - semi-permanent and permanent. The former is less expensive, and will last anywhere from three to three and a half months before washing off with water. The latter is exactly what it sounds like, and more expensive.
Description :
With a dark grey coat and tri-colored blue hair, Inkbrand stands a little taller and bulkier than most stallions. His hair and tail seem to be stuck in a perpetually messy state, giving off an almost roguish air, and his eyes are golden in color. Two differently colored bangs crisscross in front of his eyes, and though most of his hair is kept short, Inkbrand keeps three strands long, tied at the base of his head with a small band. While his natural state is normal looking enough, Inkbrand tends to stick out wherever he is, due to his intense like for accessorizing.
Most obvious are the tattoos that adorn Inkbrand's body - the largest are on his right front leg and left hind leg, while he has a smaller one on his right hind leg. Inkbrand's body is covered so well that his cutie mark often gets mistaken for a tattoo itself, and the implication that he drew on his own cutie mark offends Inkbrand greatly.
Aside from the tattoos, Inkbrand also wears smaller accessories but forgoes actual clothing. Two dog tags hang from a small string around his neck, along with a dark green, fang-shaped necklace. The chain that's strung down his right flank is attached to the bandana that he keeps wrapped around the base of his tail. Inkbrand also wears a similar bandana on top of his head, where he keeps it at a slant that covers up his left eye. To top it all off, Inkbrand often wears a black band near his right hind hoof, in place of another tattoo he is planning.

Inkbrand's ultimate goal is to get his tattooing business off the ground, and be recognized as a great tattoo artist all throughout Equestria. Recently, he's also seemed to express a dream in meeting back up with a mare he used to know a while ago.

Personality :
Confident, laid-back, and sure of himself, Inkbrand oozes a relaxed confidence that carries him through any interaction he undergoes. He is entirely comfortable with himself around others, and finds little need to censor his thoughts and opinions. Inkbrand is the pony that throws a cutting or random remark into a conversation, because he's fully confident that he can. Not intentionally cruel, Inkbrand's ego is maintained through his own self-confidence, rather than by putting other ponies down. As such, he is often immune to insults or even hard truths, and will most likely just roll his eyes and give a detersive laugh for his friends' benefit. Inkbrand can come off as obnoxious and full of himself, and is sometimes seen as a bully as he pushes and pulls to get what he wants.
However, as every pony has their faults, so does Inkbrand have his positives. Fun-loving, brash, and adventurous, Inkbrand is the type of pony that drags his friends out for a night on the town, gets salted up, and staggers home belting a love song for his guy friend in a drunken stupor. Though he usually retains a cool and laid-back swagger, Inkbrand can become a party animal under the right circumstances. He is also an incredibly flirtatious pony, and has no qualms walking up to a pretty pony and telling her all the reasons she should date him. Confident and sure of himself, rejections are met with a shrug and a sneer - though exceptionally pretty ponies can expect more come-ons and flirtatious advances for a long while.
Overall, Inkbrand is a relaxed and laid-back pony who possesses an endless amount of confidence in himself and his surroundings. The few true friends he makes find a bold and strong pony that will stand by them through thick and thin.
Biography :
Inkbrand was born in Manehatten, and spent most of his life there, wandering the poor, underground belly of the high society. He ended up discovering a tattoo parlor when he was a colt, and quickly grew to realize his love for the ink and design. When he got his cutie mark, Inkbrand decided to open up his own shop, but quickly learned that competing with the well-known and well-established ink parlors in Manehatten would take time and effort. Impatient, Inkbrand packed up his things and began traveling, searching for just the right town to settle down in and start his business. Having heard of the influx of ponies moving to Ponyville, Inkbrand has only just made his way there. With an interesting mix of ponies from all over Equestria, Inkbrand hopes that the community will be open enough to the world of tattoos for him to make a name for himself.

Plotting :
Here's where I'll list out potential plots or RP I'm looking for. I know that, for character plotting, most of it will be done IC in role-plays. But, I find it really boring to have my character go up to every other character with the same, "Hi my name is" that he would have to do if he were strangers with everyone. I want to establish some relationships beforehand, so that his interactions can be varied and different and not consist solely of him getting to know someone.
Character Plotting :
Close Friend : Anyone interested in having their pony be a close friend of Inkbrand's, maybe even a best friend? Perhaps someone that grew up with him in Manehatten? I want at least one character that can understand Inkbrand's personality and take it in stride, someone that doesn't get offended by him because they know he's simply joking around. They'd have an easy-going relationship, to where Inkbrand would simply barge into their place to crash for the night, or something similar.
Ex-lover / Marefriend : Inkbrand's the type of pony to 'sleep around', as it were. He doesn't take relationships that seriously, considering that he flirts with pretty much any pretty mare that walks past him. It's entirely possible that he's left a string of broken hearts behind him, so if anyone's interested in their character being one of these, let me know.
Rival / Friendly Rival : I'd like it if Inkbrand had someone he could really hate. Like, the simple sight of them would set Inkbrand's teeth on edge. Just so we can RP out a volatile relationship like that. OR, maybe they're friendly rivals? They're friends, but they have a tendency to push each other far and fast, maybe even to the point where they have a falling out before simply bouncing back into friendship again.

To keep track of all the characters Inkbrand meets or has established relationships with, this post will list them all out, so they don't get lost or forgotten about.
Shadow Fire : A young stallion that Inkbrand has made acquaintances with, over some business they conducted while Inkbrand was in the process of getting his business set up. They are not on friendly enough terms for Inkbrand to automatically turn to him to hang out, but they've gotten to know each other pretty well. Inkbrand has no trouble approaching the stallion and speaking to him with casual familiarity - and he actually means it.
Poison Heart : Perhaps the most volatile of Inkbrand's relationships, he only recently found out of Poison Heart's true form and species, and the news left him reeling - especially after realizing that he has allowed the Changeling to feed off him several times. Inkbrand feels rather betrayed, bizarrely enough, but given a Changelings need to sustain itself on love, Inkbrand is starting to see Poison Heart in a new light - one with a potential, "I scratch your back you scratch mine" attitude. Only time will tell if any actual emotions, friendly or otherwise, will overcome Inkbrand's instinctual disgust for the Changeling's species.
Asch : A dark Pegasus that Inkbrand met on the edge of Saddle lake, the two of them have only recently gotten acquainted. Inkbrand isn't quite sure what to make of the other stallion at the moment, but he seems intent on making nice with the other, presumably to test whether Asch will make a good partner to go get drunk on salt with.
