Advertising Contest!
We've got one more contest lined up for you guys and this one is no doubt familiar to most of you; an advertising contest! Unlike with many such contests however we're looking for 'quality not quantity', i.e. you will only get points for people who enter our other contests or create profiles for non contest characters such as wher or dragon candidates, or ordinary folk around the Weyr.
What's the prize? A custom golden queen firelizard! This is something which will be hard to get in our setting, and would be widely coveted IC. As they're such an expensive 'commodity' we would help the winner work out how their chosen character could acquire it if they're stuck.
So, here are the rules:
- Place our banner - found on page one of the main shop thread - in your sig and ask people to remember to fill in their entry forms to say they were referred by you. We will edit the forms to have a space for this. If they are doing a character profile that is not for a contest entry just ask them to put a note at the top.
--- If you have been referred by somebody you can do this retroactively by just editing your form.
--- Please note that Tawny and Con are not eligible for this prize!
- For every finished entry or character profile submitted by somebody you referred you get one point which equates to one ticket.
- At the end of the contest on Sunday 9th March 23:59GMT the contest will close.
- Soon after this we will raffle a winner.
- Tickets will go in chronological order, i.e. the first referred entry will award ticket #1 to the referrer, the second entry ticket #2, etc.
- Spam, spam, spam, spam, spam. Spam and eggs? Green eggs and spam? Please do not spam people who aren't interested, or who you don't know. We will take this srsly and disqualify you if we get complaints. As people have to submit a completed contest entry or character profile we doubt this will be an issue (as there's no point you pushing disinterested people to just post once in the thread) but it bears saying all the same.
