Physical Description:
A youth standing 5'10, somewhat tan, and toned from working with heavy tools and metals. The general appearance of his figure is lithe and a little dorky looking - he wears a pair of spectacles, causing him to look even more focused and unbearably obsessed with his creations. His eyes are an earthy hazel, seemingly brimming with inquisitive expression. It is not often Kintai is seen without some sort of injury on his hands from his crafting endeavors. His hair is very dark brown, so much so that most people believe it's black, just as much as they believe he doesn't own a brush - it appears to be very unkempt, shaggy and falling across his eyes. It isn't purely the case that he doesn't care, but more so that he finds other things more important, like creating gadgets and tools that might someday be of use to someone. His clothes are considered in the same manner, the majority of his wardrobe looking tattered from their constant use. He prefers sleeves he can roll up, as well as a vest with pockets that are able to hold any tool he might need at any time. Tool belts are also highly regarded, but not always practical in everyday situations. Pants and closed-toed boots are worn to prevent further injury at the workplace.
Personality:
The first thing anyone would notice about Kintai is that he seems very into his craft, to the point he'll go on and on about different creations, totally unaware if the listener might be even remotely interested. He loves tinkering, and strives to impress people with his work. The majority of the time he is enthralled by some recent discovery, causing him to seem very spacey and unaware of things going on around him. It only takes someone a bit of pestering to bring him out of it, if they are truly wanting his attention. Outside of this, he's relatively relaxed and enjoys a good laugh or two - he doesn't prefer to get too serious unless absolutely necessary. He likes to prevent creating a depressing situation, not finding any joy in making someone feel sad (especially if a girl is crying, he'll feel totally helpless then). In fact, he's more likely to go out of his way in order to make a gift for someone in order to make them happy. Sometimes these gifts can be a little strange, and perhaps even confusing to the recipient, but his intentions are pure.
When it comes to flaws, the most apparent is his excessive curiosity. His intentions usually are quite innocent, but he has bouts of pursuing information either regarding people or even how things function (this tends to lead to him taking apart things he shouldn't). It wouldn't be beyond him to snatch something up he finds interesting in order to analyze it. This analyzation also extends to people, often getting him in trouble. Every once in a while he gets caught over-thinking how someone might be feeling, and ends up getting it totally wrong. He also tends to have a slight amount of misplaced trust - since he seems to have good intentions, he somewhat naturally believes others do too.
Authority has never really been an issue for Kintai. He isn't willing to concede when he feels he is truly in the right, but he understands that rules exist for a reason. He's not going to start a riot or attempt all out anarchy, but he will speak his mind... politely.
Strengths: Intelligent, thoughtful, logical, kind-hearted.
Weaknesses: Introverted, excessively curious, shy, bad at handling emotions.
History:
Part of Kintai's attempts to be noticed through his trade stems from his family life, as it was rather decent. Almost too decent. He was raised by two loving parents who gave him everything he needed, has a supportive older brother, and lived a relatively middle to higher class lifestyle. The problem with this, in Kintai's opinion, was that it was hard to really "stand out" amongst the others of similar class. He dreams of being renown, someone worth mentioning and inspiring to other people.
His father is a journeyman Smithcrafter, taking pride in the weapons he makes. Gruff and handy with a hammer and anvil, he is the everyday man's man - he strives to earn the money to allow his family to live well. His mother is a journeyman Harper who dedicates her life to teaching. For many turns they have lived several miles away from the Harper Hall, where his mother often traveled to learn more of her trade.
At home his father was equipped with his forge and trusty tools. Unlike his older brother who found other interests in Starcraft, Kintai was enamored by the possibility of creating. However, his focus was different of his father's -- he wanted to create tools, gadgets, anything that was considered some sort of useful product. His inventions were often silly, and his father responded a little hesitantly. Over time, though, his ideas matured and he moved on to become an apprentice under his father, eventually moving on to begin his study with even more advanced smiths at Ista Hold (particularly focusing on product design). His family was originally from there, so the transition was quite easy for him.
On his 18th turn, Kintai was searched and became a candidate at Ista Weyr. Kintai had to think hard about the choice to appear on the sands -- he was very dedicated to his crafting. However, it is his dream to become someone important, and his fascination with flight definitely helped. It was decided that he rather not turn down any opportunities that might help him gain what he wanted, and headed to Ista Weyr. He managed to impress blue Kamuyth, and it has been two turns since his impression.
Other/Talents:
- He has a fascination with ancient technology, and loves hearing anything about it.
- He enjoys any sort of puzzle, especially in a competitive setting.
- He's shy around girls due to lack of experience with them.
- Loves creatures that can fly, wishes he was capable of creating the technology to fly himself.

Dragon Statistics III. “Of all the horrid, hideous notes of woe, Sadder than owl-songs or the midnight blast, Is that portentous phrase, 'I told you so'”Name: Kamuyth Age: 2 Color: Blue Physical Description: Medium sized for a blue but rather fast. He's lithe and built for speed, and he enjoys making show of it. His body is covered with pale blue feather-like markings, in a pattern much like those of an owl. This is specifically noticeable around his eyes and face. The webbing of his wings uphold this pattern as if they were feathered themselves. Personality: Kamuyth is a dragon who demands respect from everyone, believing he is as great as any bronze could possibly be - in fact, quite greater. His mind is governed purely by logic, and those who approach him with the aspect of emotions my find themselves disappointed. He has emotions, yes, but his decisions are not made by them. Things must be logical, just, and civil. If they are not, then expect some ruffled feathers; Kamuyth is not one to be violent but he will make it very known his disagreement concerning the matter. Kamuyth is a perfectionist to the extreme, and requires it in everything he does. Even the little things are not spared from his quest for perfection. This blue is an intelligent creature, with a surprisingly long lasting memory for a dragon. He loves learning in every way and spends hours of his days simply studying, or discussing theories and facts with his rider. The confidence he has in he and his rider's abilities, especially intelligence-wise, is massive. There is no doubt in his mind they are the best, and is usually quite arrogant in his pride. If there is one thing Kamuyth loves, it's gossip -- he will go out of his way to follow or question rumors floating around. It isn't beyond him to even spread the gossiping even further simply to see who he can or cannot trust. Due to his nature of being guarded, he tends to let himself loose during Flights -- a perfect excuse to 'let go'. It can be somewhat of a shock to see the usually chilly blue to display any sort of affection, but he has the tendency to do so towards females he specifically likes, if those exist. He is choosy about his relations in all aspects, even the leader of a wing -- it will take someone he finds worthy to earn his respect. Strengths: Intelligent, thorough, detail-oriented. Weaknesses: Critical, demanding, arrogant.
