Aaaaah, today was hard. Cethosia hadn't made any progress in her art piece, and she had failed in finding that spider-friend she used to have. Today had been unsuccessful, and she didn't really have much productive to do. Her brother was out, doing deities know what. So, maybe if she couldn't find inspiration in her home, perhaps outside would be better. Snatching up her easel and a few paints, the feline headed out with a swish of her tail, humming merrily to herself. Today, she'd find something to do. Today would not be the like others!

Aimi was just out for a walk in the afternoon air, enjoying the sunshine and the wind blowing through her hair. She let it warm her fur and soak into her skin as she tried to find inspiration for her poem. She had her paper and pen tucked inside a small envelope waiting to be worked with. The urge to write had been building within her, and now she needed desperately to let something flow onto the paper....the question was what?
What should she write about? Nature? Too cliche. History? Boring. Should she write in metaphors? Too complicated. Really, what she wanted to write about was love...the sort of poem that would make your heart flutter just reading it. All of her favorite poems were about romance. Problem was that, well, she didn't have anyone like that. No secret admirers. No romance. Nada.
Maybe writing about nature was actually her best option. She heaved a sigh, deep in thought, and picked up her pace along the sidewalk. The heat of the pavement was beginning to burn her paws so she just continued forward, not overly paying attention until...whack!
Oh, oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean... she scrambled, trying to think of something to say to the young woman that she had just smashed into headlong. She bent over and picked up the paints, fumbling them back into the woman's arms. It, it was an accident! I'll be out of your way shortly"

Cethosia had been content just walking around, trying to find something to inspire her art. Despite the fact nothing quite cut it, it was also just nice taking a stroll. Though, her eyes did frequently flick around in fear, almost petrified. What if she bumped into her mother? It wasn't as if she was afraid of Atlas.... okay, that was a damn lie. She was terrified of her mother, and yet she had a deep longing to want to make her mother find a way to love her. Ugh. She rather not dwell on that for too long. She had been so lost in thought that she hadn't seen the other woman until they collided. Stumbling, her paints fell from her arms and onto the floor. Her tail flicked in alarm, mouth opening to protest the fall of them to herself when the other suddenly scooped them up and placed them into her arms. Ceth had all of three seconds to respond, eyes flicking up and about to apologize as well when she froze. Hot damn the other was pretty."What? Huh wh- Oh. Oh no it was my fault, too! It's okay!" Waving her arms, she shook her head before shifting her paints into a more comfortable position. "Don't feel so bad. I was totally lost in thought, it's alright!"

Aimi hadn't even looked at the poor stranger yet, and didn't expect a response. She planned to just keep her eyes low and skitter off to write her poem elsewhere, somewhere that she couldn't be a bother. She felt her face turn pink in embarrassment as the woman spoke to her. Oh god she noticed me...crap.
At least the girl wasn't mad at her. It could haven worse, so she decided to just say thank you and go on her way. She turned her eyes up to the woman and her face flushed hot. Th-Thank you. she stammered, hardly able to breathe anymore. Mother of...oh gosh...shes...
Gorgeous. The word slipped off her tongue in the form of a sigh.Damn it all. Did she just say that out loud? Okay, okay, think Aimi THINK. Gorgeous day outside! S-Sorry to have interrupted your time enjoying it. I best be off... She turned and swished her tail behind her, her face glowing warmer by the second. This woman's beauty would surely be topic of her next writing! But she needed her name first..
She turned back around, attempting to stifle the surplus of blood continuing to rush to her face. I..I almost forgot to ask for y-your name. I-I'm Aimi. She let out a small smile.

Yellow eyes locked on the other woman as her hand rose to brush silver/grey hair from her face. The other had seemed to momentarily freeze, sending a rush of worry through the feline. Then, the other spoke one single word, catching Ceth completely off guard. Gorgeous? What was? The sky? Her paints? Had one of her paintings slipped out? No.... Ah! She did mean the day! Nodding pleasantly, the woman flashed a warm smile as she viewed the girl, tapping a finger across her paints. "Yes, it is. That's why I came out. Spring is finally coming~" Her voice rolled into a purr, tail flicking like a content cat - which she was. And then, the woman spoke of leaving. A mild form of disappointment crossed the others face. Oh, but they had only just met! Her name was questioned and, with a small laugh, Cethosia suddenly whipped out a card and handed it to the woman. "Cethosia Sexycula. Yeah, the last name is weird. Blame my mother. Here, I have a card. I do art for a living sometimes. If you ever need a painting and want it within a good time call this number." Ah yes, quick to spread her name. Well.... Ceth was trying to make a gallery that even her mother would be proud of. Though, that was a long shot.

It appeared that the woman didn't notice her horrible blunder. Thank everything for that stroke of luck! The blush slowly receded from her face, leaving only a mild pink glow in it's place. So you're an artist, huh?she said as she twirled the card between her fingers, That's neat! I like to write poetry. Or stories. But mostly poetry. We could work together on it sometime! Art and poetry pair so well together... oh gosh now she rambling. She needed something to change the topic, and quick. So..uhh.. W-wanna grab some coffee? I know a great place just a few blocks from here... crap. That wasn't what she meant! Back it up! I-I mean...not like a date or anything. Ju-just to talk about our arts and stuff. She nervously shuffled her feet and met eyes with the woman. Cethosia...what a pretty name! she thought as she got a little lost in the woman's gold eyes. She quickly looked away to avoid awkwardness and sighed. Curse her inability to talk to pretty women.

Blinking at the other, a smile touched her face. Cuuuute~! The other was clearly nervous, and it was either because she naturally was or perhaps she was feeling the same way Cethosia did: nervous because the other found the other one in some sort of way appealing. A blush touched Ceth's cheeks as, for once, she let herself indulge the fantasy that maybe this beautiful woman found her attractive as well. "Hmm?" She hummed, laughing gently. This woman was beyond adorable. "Then it's a date!" She purred, the feline's tail wagging as she viewed the other, hoping for another blush.

Aimi smiled brightly at the response and swished her tail in happiness. Was the other girl interested in her too? Just the thought of such a thing sent the blood rushing back to her cheeks. A..a..date? Okay then! Its just a few blocks this way. She strolled towards the woman, brushing their tails together as Aimi walked past her. The touch sent some nervousness down her spine and she twitched her tail even faster. Did she really just go from having nothing to do to having a date with a beautiful woman?
Realizing they had been quiet for a few moments, Aimi turned her head to the girl and began to speak to break the silence. Just hearing Ceth's pretty voice would send Aimi fluttering again. S-so what is your favorite thing to paint? And how long have you been painting? She asked with a pep in her speech.
