Rules
1. Follow Gaia ToS. 2. Follow all Hogwarts guild rules. All of them. We are in the guild, and therefore we must be respectful of that. 3. Don't whine. Whining is lame, and you will be disqualified from all future raffles. 4. If you wish to buy a ticket, make sure that you pay attention to the process. You do not send the trades to me. 5. Spam belongs in cans and not threads. 6. Be kind to everyone in this thread. That includes me by the way. If you're being a butt, you aren't going to win anything. I will disqualify you. So don't be a butt. 7. Don't quote the front page. It's annoying. 8. Don't PM me. I get enough as it is. Instead, give me a nice quote. I like quotes. 9. You may bump and chat here. 10. Winners shall be chosen via Gaia's random number generator. I reserve the right to change the winner should the random number end up belonging to someone who has been disqualified. 11. I reserve the right to change these rules as I, or the crew, see fit.

Where's it going? The 13th Annual User Run BallSome of you may remember the Yule Ball we held during the 12th Annual User Run Ball. Well, the event is annual, and as the title says, it's run by users like us. Want proof? This year, I'm the main secondary host, but I'll get to that later. Because this is a user-run project, we need to do a lot of fundraising. With inflation, this can be especially hard. What's the Annual User Run Ball?Well, Why Should I Care?As I mentioned, I'm the main secondary host of this year's ball. I've got quite a bit of power when it comes to planning, and I get to help run a main forum out on Gaia for a whole weekend over the summer. The ball is typically advertised to the entire site, and a lot of people show up. And they do research into who's running, and if you're someone like me, you could end up with a ton of friend requests and requests to keep roleplaying. Now, I need some help for my avatar for the ball. All I'm missing is Ivory Archer. I'm trying to raise funds for that at the moment. Next, I'll be trying to raise funds to get prizes, art, and graphics for my thread. Now, we might luck out since the main host (my partner in crime) is a good artist, and I am pretty good at making graphics. However, we're still going to need help. Why's that important? Well, if people look me up, they'll see my guilds, and Hogwarts and the Ministry of Magic are two of my most involved (and favorite) guilds. And since I moderate both, the room I'm working on should look awesome. After all, people are likely to get an impression of the guilds from the room, especially if they see that I'm there. This can be a great opportunity for the guilds.

Special Thanks
- Diamond Wales ~ Allowing there to be space in the guild for a thread such as this to exist. And putting up with me. o3o
- Robayn ~ Last year's AURB main host, and the reason why I was able to stay so involved with the guild, despite needing to step down last year. She's provided me with some amazing guidance and is a great friend.
- PinkieKitty ~ For taking a chance on me and picking me to be her secondary this year. She should have known better than to give me this much power. >;D

About Me
I joined Gaia back in 2009 after one of my friends told me about this really cool site. I knew nothing about roleplaying or the Annual Ball. I just found it an awesome way to hangout with her. Well, eventually, she came on less and less and I started navigating the site more on my own. That was when I found roleplaying. Man, I sucked at the beginning. I didn't know what proper etiquette was at all. Then I found this guild in 2010. To be honest, I was terrified that I would make a mistake, but I was so happy to see how clear it was to figure out how to roleplay properly. Honestly, four years later, I'm proud to say that this guild is the reason that I'm as literate as I am.
I could bore you with details on when I became crew, when I was promoted to vice-captain, and when I inherited the Ministry of Magic guild, but I won't. That's a story for another time, another thread. However, what you might like to know is how I came into working with the Annual User Run Ball.
It started innocently enough. There was an announcement. I was interested, so I participated. My first ball was the Ninth, and I just attended as a guest, meaning I did not partake in planning, since I found out the day it opened. However, I fell in love with it, and ended up joining the Tenth Planning Guild. I ended up being a co-host at first in the School Dream, before being asked to step up and take the position of secondary host. The following year, I applied to host my own room, and was accepted, but my room would never come to be. Due to moving into college the same weekend as the ball, I figured I would not have time to be active during the ball and so I stepped down, thus creating the new role of floating co-host. Now, for the Twelfth Annual Ball, I am designated as the secondary main host, and as such I want to make this the best ball ever.
Outside of Gaia, I'm a sophomore music education student at a small college in upstate New York that happens to be only minutes from Utsuha Moon's school. You can imagine the chaos from when we met. My primary instrument is the violin, but I am learning piano and percussion this semester. Last semester I learned viola, cello, and bass. Of course, Moon's not my only outside of Gaia relation in the guild. I am also the older sister of Sirius Hot-Pink, who is probably one of our lesser known guild members, but if you've been in Chatzy you know him.
