It was brought up in the Blast, so I wanted to see if people remembered their teams first time around in later-gen Pokemon (so we'll say 4th gen or so and onward)

Fire Red: Charizard, Nidoking, Hitmonchan
Diamond: Infernape, Staraptor, Luxray, Lucario
Platinum: Empoleon, Yanmega, Toxicroak,
HG: Feraligatr, Amphoros, Magmar, Arbok
Black: Serpirior, Stoutland, Zebstrika, Chandlure, Gothitelle, Unfezant.
White 2: Samurott, Liligant, Arcanine, Weezing, Espeon, Amphoros
X: Delphox, Venasaur, Lucario, Salamence, Snorlax, Aegislash.

Don't quite remember Ruby, Sapphire, or FRLG, but I'll post what I got. Note, I haven't played HGSS, and I still need to ARGH.

I'm actually pretty proud of myself for remembering the teams this far back.
Platinum:
Empoleon, Houndoom, Leafeon, Staraptor, Mamoswine, Luxray
HeartGold:
Feraligatr, Ampharos, Crobat, Nidoking, Heracross, Espeon
Black:
Serperior, Scolipede, Sigilyph, Carracosta, Krookodile, Darmanitan
Black 2:
Serperior, Crobat, Vaporeon, Magmar (eviolite haaay), Lucario, Krookodile
Y:
Delphox, Venusaur, Hydralge, Barbaracle, Malamar, Noivern
I also regularly do Sapphire speed runs for Master Balls and have that down to a science:
Swampert, Swellow, Breloom, Manetric, double Zigzagoon for the Pickup.
For Leaf Green, it was:
Charizard, Starmie, Magneton (only Steel type haaay), Victreebel, Dugtrio, Primeape
Choosing Charizard means not having to add a shitty Normal/Flying type for this one biggrin

The only pokemon game I've played beyond gen 2 is Soulsilver, if that even counts.
I think my team was Meganium, Scyther, Slowbro, Crobat, Nidoqueen, and Piloswine.

I haven't played beyond Heartgold/SoulSilver either. But I have played most of Emerald.(Which I still need to beat the Elite four soon) Let's see how far back I can remember... It's been a pretty long while. XD
(And I sorta deleted my original file many years ago which I have no clue why... lol)
Heartgold: Typhlosion, Dragonite, Umbreon, Oh right Zangoose I had him, all thanks to a good buddy of mine willing to trade his. Togekiss, and I'm pretty sure I had Quagsire too.
Emerald: Swampert, Skarmory, Sableye, Manectric, and that's all I remember off the top of my head at the moment... sweatdrop

Truth be told, Y is the only Pokemon game I ever own. sweatdrop I only played Platinum by borrowing my friend's game and DS (before I own my 3DS) at that time (currently, my friend's DS and game is stolen by an acquaintance we know, but we have no proof that he really did steal it.) Anyway, onto the team.
Y: Delphox*, Azumarill*, Lucario*, Pidgeot, Blaziken, and Yveltal* (Yeah, I know I shouldn't use the last two, but I can't help it. sweatdrop )
Pokemon I used before sticking to main team and/or Elite Four battle (*asterisk for final team against Elite Four/champion): Zoroark, Charizard, Absol, Greninja*, Venusaur*
Platinum: Inferape, Staraptor, Luxio, Golbat, Pachirisu, Butterfree, Noctowl, Marill... Gosh, I can't really remember which Pokemon I used as the main. All I know was that I was too busy level-grinding the Pokemon I like/need instead of just sticking to the main team to beat. sweatdrop

X: Lucario, Charizard, Talonflame, Crobat, Blaziken, Xerneas. I may throw Lapras in for someone else.
I haven't actually beaten X yet, so that is my team as of now that I'll be taking to the pokemon league.
As for any other games, I honestly can't remember since it's been ages since I've owned any pokemon games or any of nintendo's systems. My Black team actually came from me playing on an emulator. sweatdrop

I skipped all that bullshit in the middle.
Meaning I played all the originals up to Crystal, and then gunned it to Y.
I remember going on Serebi to find out who was new, who wasn't, and generally, who everyone is.
I also caught a lot of pokemon I wanted to train up, but lost steam. So my team became: Gouda, Yeah, Flash, Gutta, Gallade and Doupler.
Can you guess them? I am eggs of all persuasions.
Only two have not been mentioned. They are the first and last, Dragalge and Ampharos.
