Mang's reaction to having his horn grazed brought out a low chuckle from somewhere in the expanse of Yu's great chest and long neck. It was warm and comfortable and the Dragon King relaxed further, spreading out the toes of one limb to leave furrows in the rich earth before resting it once more across the wyvern's toes.
"Mm. Ever have we understood one another, dear Mang." His own tail twitched and thumped, grass and leaves getting into the inky fur or under sapphire scales. "You have my ear, anytime you wish to bend it."
"Some serve better without." Yu chuffed a bit, dipping his head, "And still others need to know more to serve as they wish. Blessed will go with you. She is young and would do well to learn from another."

He rolled his eyes playfully at that chuckle, but he was too comfortable in the sun to gather himself up in mock-indignation. "They're new!" He insisted, as though to defend his horns for being sensitive. He stowed away that offering gladly, sure to keep it in mind. "Thank you, Yu. You are, of course, welcome to do the same whenever you wish."
He hoped his brother would not ever feel as though he would be troubling the Mediator. They were too few still, and though a myriad of work stretched out before him, Mang felt a pang of something. Surely not loneliness.
His crest arched sharply even as the wyvern studied his brother, thinking. "Blessed? A fortuitous gift, brother-mine." He crooned softly at Yu, chuckling. "Thank you. I will do my utmost to return her safely to you."
Not a promise, though. No, words had power, and Mang could not guarantee that they would not be set upon by all manners of things. Travel was dangerous--politics, even more so. Still, he was... eager, yes. Eager to begin his work anew, to rally the support of the people... and perhaps to bind them again to the gods and goddesses.
"A fortuitous gift." He murmured to himself softly.

"Newly come and tender, yes. Sweet to taste, as well." Yu rumbled in further amusement and also assent; that his brother's ear was something he held as needed was nothing new. With how often they'd come together at court, the Emblem Pillar and the Emissary - one as Throne, the other bringing supplicants and the like to the Throne - Yu was well versed in how available Mang could be.
"She will serve you well, brother-mine, as she has served me." Yu's breath moved the grass on the other side of the wyvern and his own thick fur, "Yes, make use of her, that she learn better." Although Mang could make no promises, Yu was certain his human would return to him, all the wiser and better for having been under Shuo's care. "What will be, will be."
Against him, Shuo's body near to vibrated with excitement. The love of Service flows through us All. My brother thrills to his station as much as I bleed mana...such is Life. Blessed will return, or she will not, but Shuo will return as he can. That is all that can be asked. "When will you leave us, Brother?" Words low, accompanied by Yu dipping his nose to the grass between his massive paws and releasing some of the mana that he absorbed at Harmodius' side so that there was a riot of green and life, thick and wild brought forth.
"You will need provisions, for your envoy."
