Mission Description:
The Client is Hazama Shigeharu, he’s a renowned art collector and caretaker of Hazama Cooperation in Kyoto, an old group that split from the Japan branch of the Order known as the Iikoushuu has re-awaken according to rumors throughout Kyoto. Our client Hazama, was attacked by one of these members a week ago according to the man whom is acting as his personal body guard from the Japan Branch for the time being. Akechi Mitsuhide, Mastunage Hisahide, and the Araki clan joined forces to rebel against the Oda Association, with Iikoushuu; we aren’t responsible for getting involved in political wars within branches, so you should avoid getting involved in combat with any member of the Iikoushuu. It seems a few days ago, they took back the Kanga area from the Oda’s. It seems they plan to use this wave to completely overcome the Oda’s in one blow. Now it looks like they are working with the Mori clan to create some weapon with great killing power. The man that attacked Hazama goes by the name of Araki Murashige, deserted the clan.
Mr. Hazama is meeting with a buyer for a 400 year old mandala in two days. Mr. Hazama has also reported to have been receiving threatening phone calls and other attempts on his life in order for Murashi to obtain the mandala. Mr. Hazama has owned this artifact for 20 years, which was sold to him from a man named Agi. The mandala is very old and hand-made with a rich history. It isn’t old enough to be considered very expensive, but because this mandala contains the Iihatsu (hairs from the dead) of ancient personages. It is said that a female spirit comes to Hazama in his dreams telling him “Protect the Mandala. Make it so that a whole clan can be cleansed and attain nirvana.” Mr. Hazama had a business partner at Kyoto University look into the age of the hairs woven into the mandala in order to help with our investigation about the woman appearing in his dreams.
Our sources also confirmed that Shimozura Rairen, Rairyu’s brother have arrived in Kyoto already. In order to look for Murashi; these brothers have what most Exorcist to believe as supernatural powers. The intellectual Rairen and the fighter Rairyu. Sources also claim it looks as if they are searching for something as well, an artifact. Because the Shimozura brothers are members of the Iikoushuu it would be best to stop them from getting their hands on whatever they are after.
This mission is going to be about capturing the escaped Iikoushuu and figure out why the Iikoushuu is after the mandala. Right now, Araki Murashi is hiding out in Kyoto.
Mr. Hazama is providing the Exorcist group with a room at the hotel he is staying at, and is sparing no expense in order to carry out this request. Meals will not be included, but shelter at the Nobusu Luxury Hotel will be provided on the fourteenth floor three doors down from Mr. Hazama’s own room.

Guardian Sprits
The spirit that lives within the mandala name is Dashi, she’s the wife of Murashi. She was taken hostage by the Oda’s and later killed. Madame Dashi was one of the most beautiful women of her time, and being the wife of a high ranking Exorcist such as Murashi made her envied by many people. Speaking of spirits of the Araki clan it’s not strange that they’re still roaming this world. It is said at the very least 700 people died at the hands of Oda. Murashi’s men rallied their flags to rebel, preparing a siege. But the back-up troops he hoped for never came. It was useless, Murashi had to escape the castle, and went to request back-up troops from Amagasaki castle. It was at that time the Oda’s attacked the castle and all the prisoners were sentenced to death. Only Murashi lived. Even though she died Dashi lives to protect the mandala and Murashi. Guardian spirits are dangerous when they are angered and can easily be turned into a vengeful spirit. Unlike vengeful spirits, guardian spirits are capable of physically touching objects and living creatures. They aren’t evil yet they aren’t good. They only remain attached to the world to protect. They have a great amount of spiritual power but it is drained the longer they contain a physical form that is visible to human eyes.
Vengeful Spirits
These are dangerous spirits that have given up their humanity and refuse to be laid to rest. They have taken up a contract with Ayanaka, the Demon King of Wind also known as the King of Spirits. Vengeful spirits are extremely dangerous to the living, they can possess people and they can also injure them by simply touching them. They don’t possess a physical body and look like long streams of smoke with a screaming face. These spirits deal serious internal damage to the point that if they touch flesh they can rip the nerves or destroy organs. This is because they are spiritual beings, only being able to be injured by Qi, so Aria and Demons are able to protect themselves and even destroy them easily. Even so, a vengeful spirit can be protected by the Qi of another as long as what is containing them to be hateful to this world is within the hands of someone that is able to cast protective spells. They tend to hold enough force to push someone down, carry them away if they are in a large group, or even rip off limbs. Although these depends on the anger within the spirit and how many spirits are attacking at once. As stated before physical attacks such as punches, kicks, and even weapons hold no effect on these creatures. Holy weapons and even demon weapons can pose a threat to them due to the Qi they possess. Special bullets such as banishing bullets are highly effective on these spirits, but because of the rarity of the bullets most people tend to use them only when necessary. Another thing to note about Vengeful spirits is the fact they are highly dangerous in groups and can destroy barriers made up of Qi if enough spirits try striking in succession. Holy Water is very useful on Vengeful Spirits as it will stun them for a time being until their Qi can reform; during this state these spirits tend to search for a host body and even the dead counts as a body for them. Each time one is touched by a Vengeful Spirit they lose 50 Qi.
The Dead – Possessed
These are different from normal corpse that are possessed by demons that fall under the King of Decay. These walking corps will not infect people with the poison that kills them and then turns them into a walking dead body. These zombies are used only form a physical form in order to deal more damage towards opponents. They tend to be faster, stronger, and very dangerous when they receive a weapon of some sort. These possessed bodies are able to utilize the abilities that the original body once had, including fatal verses if they were a monk or an exorcist or demonic powers.
Rairen Shimozura & Rairyu Shimozura
They are known as the Exorcist Twins around the world also known as possessors. No one knows what their true face or body looks like, but what is known about them is that they always possess twins or siblings that look similar. Rairen is an extremely talented Aria whom use a multitude of elemental based Fatal Verses, unlike his brother Rairen tends to avoid combat scenes and attacks with verses as well as a small army of demons from a distance. While Rairyu is a fighter, he’s known as the Thousand Fist. Rairyu has been said to have mastered over a thousand different martial arts and combines them with his Aria knowledge. If he isn’t fighting directly he’s attacking with massive Qi based attacks that are highly destructive. Other than that, they are known for possessing bodies with their spirits and holding people against their will. The method they do this is unknown. Rumor has it that only one person has ever broken free of a possession but the method in how they did left them paralyzed from the hip down.
Murashi Araki
Not much is known about him, but we do know he’s also a possessor and uses Fire Based Fatal Verses and that even his Qi alone is of flame. Some have compared him to being a demon, but there is no telling if that’s true or not.
