I use a Ultra ball on you, you break out. I use a great ball....same result. The regular pokeball....An ordinary, absolutely plain pokeball...caught you.......WTF?

I had that happen with Palkia or Dialga (don't remember which one) back on Platinum. I used up all my good pokeballs and then just threw a regular one for the hell of it and it worked. And then I was sorta pissed that I had wasted all my good stuff XD

Every pokemon I've caught (with two exceptions) has been caught with a regular pokeball or premium ball. User Image

The exceptions are Abra and Yveltal.

omfg i just got to snorlax and was thinking about this thread while trying to catch him and used about 9 ultra balls and then decide to use a great ball and caught him on the first one
