Lazarus looked up at the trees once more. "Oh I see." He then looked back over towards Cora while managing a small chuckle. "Well that would be interesting. I would probably just keep hanging there until I felt like getting down." He shrugged. "Although I've begun to wonder, do you know how to actually kill a mummy? I'm guessing only certain types of magic would work is what I was thinking." He paused. "Not like I plan to kill other mummies. I just never thought about what could possibly kill me."

I'm sure you can be killed. Your motivation or whatever reason that you are alive again would probably have to be compromised. Or someone would have to banish you, I think. The normal methods probably won't work. Do you bleed?

Lazarus had to think about the question. "Well I do ooze acid if cut. I don't know if that's a self defense or if it's because I don't have blood left in me." He paused for a moment before continuing. "There probably is a way with magic like you said."
Lazarus looked at the area around. "Although it's probably common to hear about things like this in Nightmare Valley."

She hopped up on a low branch of one of the hanging trees. She tossed the dirt for the last time and watched as the words appeared.
To hear about what?

"To hear about other ponies not having actual blood, but still being able to walk around." Lazarus paused for a moment uncertain. "Or is it not that common and I have been living so isolated that I don't know what is normal."

Lazarus slightly smiled. "I guess so then." He paused for a moment to take in the relaxing night before climbing up the tree as well. "Although I kind of wish I had a family of my own that was still among the living." He looked upwards. "I heard there are some ponies as well that can only come out in the dark. I guess that's something I can be grateful for that I don't have that limitation." He looked at Cora. "And same goes with you...or I hope so. If not, then it's no big deal, but you do get more freedom or so it seems."

I can go out any time of day. And while my speech may be limited, I think it's more fun sometimes than being able to prattle on and on. Her tail stopped scribbling long enough for her to look at him and smile, As for being special, I like to think I am. But then I think everyone is in some way. Except for maybe some of my siblings...but that could just be me...

Lazarus nodded his head in agreement. "Indeed. Sometimes the best conversations are just simple as well though with not as many words." He then glanced out towards the sky. "It's funny, but I'm normally not one to talk as much and others would normally call me an emotionless corpse." He stretched out a bit before looking back towards Cora. "Well you definitely are special. As for your siblings I couldn't tell since I never met them."
