 Kristallnacht was in her cavern crafting out more ice in order to make her own dream cavern. It had been ages since she had any form of socialization and most of the time others avoided her. She was a bit antisocial, but she did not intend to be. Other ponies had turned her away since she had accidentally speared them with her ice. Most of her days consisted of living in the cave and hunting for food. Whether it was sheer boredom or curiosity, she decided it would be best to leave the cave and go explore her surroundings for now. See what other ponies were out there and if it would result in having a possible ally or enemy. Not much tended to phase her, but if Kristall had to she would be ready for anything.

 Erebus was out walking around. He was spending more and more time wandering around the valley now that the herd was growing. While he was the leader of the herd he preferred to be alone or around less ponies. He was heading towards a more wooded area but paused. He had wandered through here two days around. He wasn't too keen on going through there again. He looked around and decided to head off towards a more rocky area. He had heard there were caves over there and he figured that it was something different to check out.

Kristall was a little bit away from her cave when she froze still and listened. There was someone approaching, but who? She looked around the area trying to see who was wandering around this area. It had been quite some time since she had visitors nearby. "Hello?" She called out in a husky voice. She wasn't sure if she wanted to know what it was, but it was better than staying cooped up.
Kristall walked slowly and cautiously. Each step she took the ground froze with ice. It always tended to happen no matter where she went. Once she got closer she saw it was a demon. She eyed him up and down before giving a questioning look before speaking again. "I'm surprised you're out here. If you're looking for a place to be totally alone and isolated then you've come to the right place. Not many tend to venture out towards this part or at least towards the ones deeper into nightmare valley."

Erebus stopped when he heard a husky voice speak out. He looked around not seeing anyone. Finished with looking around he turned forward and began to walk. He didn't make it very far before a black female demon appeared. He immediately noticed the ice about her hooves and arched a brow at that. He then looked up at her face when he heard her speak.
"I like to travel now-a-days and this is a spot I haven't seen before." He said, "Truth be told I prefer isolated areas more than crowded ones." He looked around to make sure there wasn't a surprise attack about to spring before focusing again on the demon before him. "Is that ice your doing?"
((Is it bad that I just noticed the shadows at his feet? Like I have never noticed the fog/shadows there before. ))

Kristall looked down at the feet of the demon noticing that he had fog around his feet then back up towards him. "Oh, um yes. It kind of happens most of the time." She scratched her head confused. "Well if you really do like isolated areas that are quiet then you picked the right spot." She stopped herself short. She definitely didn't feel threatened. "Besides ones that come here just to start a ruckus I do enjoy freezing to shut them up." She paused for a moment. "When I mean ruckus I mean ponies that come here just to prove how macho they are by trying to kill me."
((It's ok. It sounds like something I would do too. XD))

Erebus' tail swished as he listened to the mare speak. "Hm.. interesting thing to happen." He said mostly to himself. He noticed she had checked him out too but didn't think anything of it. "Sounds like a great spot. Far better than back at home with all of those annoying ponies hanging around." He grumbled before laughing, "And I'm sure you teach them just how foolish they are to even entertain that thought. I certainly would."

Kristall nodded her head. "I can be reasonable I just don't like others making too much noise. That's all. Although I must admit if there was some good company...I would rather enjoy it." She stopped for a moment. "Do you have any family?" She was slightly curious about this pony and who he was. She had not seen him before so she did want to get as much info as possible.

"Ha. Like many of the others can refrain from making too much noise." Erebus replied with a snort, "Good company is hard to find now a-days it seems." He looked at her and cocked his head. Family? Why was she interested in that? "No I have no family. I help look after a rather large herd or rather I used to. I travel too much now to really look after them anymore. They're too annoying to be around for long." He said answering her question, "What about you?"

"Oh..." Kristall stopped short on that and took a moment to ponder. "This might sound strange, but to tell you the truth I really don't remember. I think bits and pieces of my memory are missing. I had one, I just honestly can't remember the full story." She stopped short again. It had been a while since she had thought about it. "I remember I was angry with a pony to the point I wanted to kill him, but the longer I stay in this type of body the more I forget about my past life." Kristall looked back at him. "I take it you were always a demon."
((Sorry she is super confusing sometimes. In her bio she was actually a pegasus before being reborn this way))

Erebus tilted his head a little as she spoke. "Yes I was always a demon. I take it you were not?" He replied. Her story was strange or what little she had told of it. It sounded like she was not always a demon but some other type of pony. Interesting as he hadn't heard of ponies being able to change species. "Not that it really matters. You are what you are. No point in dwelling on the past when you need to worry about the present."
((Nah she's fine. It's more interesting this way. ))

Kristall shook her head. "No I used to be different. I know I always had the same power that I do now. That I know of. I think I was a pegasus or something, but it seems so complex to remember it all." She stopped herself short. "You're right though. It's probably not worth dwelling on if I can't even remember it." She shook her mane to clear her head of her thoughts. "So I take it you don't have many friends then if you like to keep to yourself?"

Cocking his head he listened to her talk. "A pegasus huh. That's quite a change for somepony to go through." He said. He gave a short laugh at her question. "Yeah you can say that. I'm not considered friendly enough by many ponies' standards." He replied swishing his tail, "Plus I don't know.... most ponies just irritate me and constantly pester me. Can't a guy just be left alone? Do you really have to talk to him or try to hook him up with a female?"

Kristall thought for a moment what he was talking about. "To tell you the honest truth I never understood friendship and this so called hooking up." She turned around to sit down on one of her ice crystals. "Only thing I've ever known was vengeance." She paused for a second. "Although as days go on it feels like I know less and less what I want vengeance for anymore. It was some pony I wanted to kill with my own to hooves, but for all I know he could be dead already." She frowned slightly while muttering under her breath. "Hope someone didn't beat me to him.."
