The Storm rolled in after the Asylum Champion, quick to push the man over and attempt a pinfall! He wanted to put this one in the bag and end it!

Shanahan wastes no time as he looks to put Cartwright away following his collision with the steel steps! The referee drops down to count!

TH...
OOOOH! There had just been too much time between the attack and the pin to take advantage! The crowd gasps!

The fans let out a painful gasp as the count was broken! Matt hadn't won just yet! A growl of frustration left his lips at the realization that this match wasn't over yet! He pushed himself up off of the downed Asylum Champion and immediately went to grab him by the hair and start wailing some blows down onto the man's forehead, in hopes to knock him right out!

OOF! OOF! OOF! Shanahan punches away at Cartwright's face repeatedly, it's as if he is trying to punch away Cartwright's swaggering good looks! He must be jealous of Cartwright's raw, natural beauty!

With the blows having been delivered, Matt stood up and pushed away from Cartwright, turning his back to pace towards the other side of the ring! As he did, he threw his hand up with four fingers extended, could he be signalling for another Chapter Four!? Once a good distance away, he turned to face the downed Asylum Champion and put his hands on his knees, primed to continue the assault if the man stood back up.

Cartwright holds his face with both hands as he lies on the mat following Shanahan's blows. It looks like he got busted open pretty nicely as his forehead begins to bleed. NO! Cartwright's swagtastic blood is escaping! Damn you Matt you no good punk! Cartwright looks a little out of it with a far-away look in his eyes as he struggles to bring himself to his feet, his face bleeding and his back hurting from the steel steps landing! He's took a beating tonight, but he hasn't stopped! Maybe he's too dumb to stop!

The Swaglord was fighting on hard, and not even The Storm could condemn his decision to stand. Once up on his feet, Matt advanced towards him and attempted to pick the man up from behind in a reverse crossbody position! If he managed to somehow get the recovering champion in the hold, Matt would twist his body and attempt to rotate in man around for an Inverted Chapter Four, aiming to swing Cartwright around and bring him gut-first down onto his knee!

Matt grabs Cartwright from behind before he knows what's coming his way! Shanahan promptly swings him down into the mat, the Asylum Champion landing crashing on to his face and flopping forward on to his back! Ouch! Always with the face!

My god, what did the fans just witness?! First the bulldog, then the Inverted Chapter Four?! Was Matt trying to kill the man!? Probably, because the "Swag" craze is a plague and Cartwright is nothing more than a carrier of this virus. He must be dealt with!
How?! By being defeated! At least, it was a step. The Storm went for the pin once more, aiming to put an end to this epic Champ vs Champ encounter!

rofl Matt can only hope that the "disease" is curable! It certainly hasn't hindered Cartwright! In fact, it's made him the best ever! At least that's what Cartwright believes, as Shanahan covers him one more time! The referee plonks himself into position so that he can see if the shoulders are down.....they appear to be down!

THREE!!!!!
Hurray! Shanahan is better than swag! The crowd roars with cheers as the bell rings! How did this happen?! Is what Cartwright would think if he was alive!

A crash of thunder echoed overhead as the final bell rang, both sounds signalling the winner of this bout; to help confirm it for the world, "Short Change Hero" by The Heavy began to serenade the fans through the sound system. The amount of tug-and-pull in the encounter had the fans guessing all the while, but The Storm managed to pull the win! The fans were in a frenzy after seeing The True Evolution Chamipon beat the long-reigning Asylum Champion, but there didn't seem to be much going on in the ring as far as celebration went.
Matt rose up off Cartwright in a kneeling position, his hands draped over his knee while he heaved for breath. The encounter definitely had taken its toll on the world champion! His eyes remained closed while he tried to compose himself, only opening when the referee walked over to hand him his title belt. Shanahan grasped the leather of the WWE:E Evolution Championship and pulled it from the official, giving him an ice cold glare in the process. He pushed himself up off the mat and walked to the ropes, climbing out of the ring with his grip on the belt firm with his right hand.
As the fans chanted his name, The Storm walked to the back slowly. He had trumped one champion; who was next on his list?
