Guild Official Rules
Introduction Welcome to Days of Destruction, a role play based off of the series Ao no Exorcist (Blue Exorcist). While we would like all members to enjoy themselves and feel free, we do expect everyone to obey the following rules set here. If you happen to break a rule we will not automatically ban you. As long as the mistake is corrected, there shouldn’t be any future problems. However, if the problem and warnings are not followed, we have no problem suspending your account from the guild or permanently removing you depending on the situation. A guild community is built off of mutual understanding and respect not just for one another but for the story itself. Remember we are all here to build a story together. Now before anything else, we would like to give you a friendly reminder so there is no future confusion later down the line within the guild. READ EVERYTHING! Make sure to read every rules, every system, every guild announcement, and every post you come across in the role play even if it doesn’t pertain directly to your character. Doing this will save us ALL the trouble that could come about from you not reading later down the line. When in doubt read the rules, when in further doubt, consult with the Administration or a senior member of the Guild. We will be happy to answer your questions. Any type of wide spread breaking of the rules will result in privileges being taken away from the guild. These things can range from the free talk zone of Chatterbox or even from obtaining new special items, classes, or events within the story which could help build your character. So be sure to follow the rules. By the time you finish reading the rules and you feel you can’t follow them all be sure to quit the guild, because we are serious about each and every rule on the list. If you do believe you can follow all of the rules, we will accept you into this guild like family.

Section A: General Rules No Cannon Characters, there will be no recreation or relation to any of the Cannon Characters from Kazue Kato’s: Ao no Exorcist also known as Blue Exorcist in the English Dub title. The Guild takes place years in the future, there will be no need for the recreation of any other characters or being related to any of them. The only characters that are still alive are the Demon Lords and Satan (Which are technically Cannon Character, they will be played by specific people), but that doesn’t necessarily mean your character will be able to be the child of one of these Demon Lords or become the Spawn of Satan. These roles will be given out to those whom show the skills and activity that deem them worth of such a title.
There will be no Power Playing/ Auto Hitting/ God Modding. With the guild system in place it should completely remove all chances of Power Playing and God Modding in the guild, but as for Auto Hitting and Auto Dodging it slightly comes down to your rping as well as the system. Regardless don’t do it. Characters should be taking damage at some point unless the difference in skill is obvious. If you are warned three times in the guild about this, you will be temporarily banned for a week, a second offense after that will lead to a two week ban, and a third offense will lead to a permanent ban from the guild.
You are not guaranteed a higher class position or status or even character to start off with, do not ask. If we are looking for certain characters or people to play as higher ranking Demons, Humans, or Antagonist we will personally find and ask you if you would like to take the slot.
You are only allowed to have Three Characters at a single time. NPC characters do not count. But to insure everyone remains active we are asking you limit your characters to three at a single time.
Only Half-Demons can use a Meister type that belongs to both the Exorcists as well as Demons. Full Blood demons are required to only use Meister types that are in the Demon Category. Just as Exorcist are only allowed to utilize the Meister types under the Exorcist Category.
Characters will die in this guild, both Humans and Demons. Characters are ruled dead by the approval of two or more moderators. Moderators will use the same judgment for character losing limbs or taking damage if a battle is reported for Power Play or God Modding. Before a character is officially ruled dead over a technicality or during a fight of some sort, MODs will confirm the death if a death is needed to be confirmed, these MODs cannot be involved in the fight personally with their own characters. So please no complaining or crying if your character is killed. Ao no Exorcist is known for killing off other characters.
Activity; we want everyone who joins this guild to be active. You will be banned for being inactive for over two weeks without notice or explanation before your leaving. There is a thread that deals with Activity which you are allowed to post and say when you are leaving and when you plan to return.
Respect the moderators, respect each other as members, and respect yourself. We want to be on the same page as you are, so talk to us, keep us up to date. Any problems you are having within the guild needs to be brought up with a moderator. We cannot stress this enough. We are a community that respects each other’s opinions and not one opinion is valued more than another’s here. We will not tolerate sexism, homophobic behavior, racism, prejudice, ageism, and any other kind of ism that is used to belittle another human being. There is a way to say and do everything, so we will not tolerate any people bullying another member. The only time we will allow something like this to happen is while in character but with a limit. If someone asks you to tone down your character’s behavior because it is offending them personally then respect that person and tone down your insults or provocative jokes.
Literacy is not optional in this guild, it is extremely required. That means absolutely no one-liners. All post should be about six sentences or more roughly around four hundred to six hundred words at the minimum. Once again, we are trying to bring out your best work and create room for character growth and development. This is a community of role players building a story together and if you’re posting only two sentences and the person you’re role playing with is posting paragraphs at a time then you aren’t making the guild very fun for them.
Vulgar language is allowed in certain situations, however excessive and abusive language; both, in character and out of character are not tolerated. That would be considered Flaming which is wrong and will build you a bad reputation around the guild.
Romantic contact is encouraged. It improves motions, vocabulary, and flexibility during the Rp. But we do have a small list of things you must follow when using any romantic contact: --------- A. You cannot post about your character performing explicit sexual acts, such as sex, masturbation, or anything else of the sort. A fade to black will be all that we need when you are planning on going further. You can continue the rest in PMs if you’re really wanting to continue your love affair. --------- B. Skimpy clothing is allowed --------- C. Kissing, making out, and other sexual physical contact is allowed up to a R rating. --------- D. If you are going to have kids, just know you are stuck with them. If anything happens between your character and your child gets killed or kidnapped at a young age that is your own problem.
As you look through this forum you will notice there are three different profile templates. Pay very close attention to these threads. Because you will need to be aware of the characters you are creating and where their profile should go.
When you are Role Playing you should NEVER edit your post after the fact another character has replied. At that point what you wrote is in the past. If you are caught doing this, you will lose all privileges for an event that’s taking place, you will not be allowed to enter the next three guild events.
Arguing with the Captain about a moderator decision on the outcome of something is an automatic ban and removal from the guild for life. No questions asked, you won’t be warned, you will be banned. I don’t care who you are or how close you are to someone with the crew or to myself, you’ll be removed.
Every ENTRANCE post must haven an EXIT post. If you don’t have a post leaving an area and you enter a new area, your post will be invalid and those who are in that area can completely ignore you. You will be warned the first time by a moderator, if you do it a second time you will be put on a temporary punishment. If you do it a third time you will be removed from the guild. To avoid this it is easy to just write [Exit] or [Entrance] at the bottom of your post, in order to cover your own tracks.

Section B: Character Approval Going through the character approval process can be rather hard, long, and boring, but in Days of Destruction we want to make sure everyone is off to a good start so they feel comfortable role playing with people whom have been within the guild for a longer period of time. Character profiles should be as detailed as the role player can make them. Each profile must have all the required information filled out. You are required to use our profile skeleton and you are required to fill out everything on the profile. Your character will not be approved if all the information is not written out properly or completed.
When you create a character you will place it in the correct subforum for the type of character you are making, you will create a thread within that subforum with the subject reading the following:
Character Name || Primary Meister Type || Secondary Meister Type || Character Rank or Class [WIP ] When you have WIP written after your information in the subject bar it tells the MODs your character is not ready to be looked at and reviewed. Your character should not have a rank unless they are a student and they automatically start off as a Page. So the character rank area will be left out while you are working on your profile. Once your profile is ready to be reviewed and approved you will change the WIP to [R/A] or [Ready] this tells a mod that you are ready for them to look over your profile. Mods will carefully look over your profile and will review it, it can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few days, and if the mod deems your character ready for the guild then they will approve the character and tell you, your character’s ranking. If the character by some chance is denied, the mod will explain to you in fine details the areas that need to be corrected or edited in order to be accepted into the guild.
You will not be allowed to role play until your character is approved. Example profiles are linked into each of the threads with the profile skeletons. You should look over these characters, because they are created in the format that the mods are looking for. They are expecting to see about the same length of writing or more. Your character should be detailed. MODs will not accept character that appears to have taken less than an hour of thought.
