Sometimes we do what we must to please dear mother and father. Play sports, get good grades, graduate, be a doctor, so on and so forth. But, sometimes, it's more about fulfilling what they want other than making them proud. One poor boy, or girl, found this out at a young age. But along the path, a naive traveler comes across this male, mistaken for a female, and just falls head over heals. How will he react if and when the young feMALE tells the truth?

 Devon "Darla" Bryant Devon had just finished up at cheer leading practice at the end of the school day. He put his clothes in his bag, not bothering to change out of his uniform. The teen started walking through the hallways of the big school, his hair moving along with the bounce in his step. Acting like a girl didn't bother him all that much, instead he just accepted the idea. Always wanting to please his parents, he did whatever he had to. Squeaking a bit, he blushed as he accidentally bumped into someone. He looked up, biting his lower lip. "I-I'm sorry, I'm so clumsy... I should have been paying attention!"

 Itoni Takizawa"Shouting will get you no where, it's those who hear you speak that help"Itoni looked down at the girl before him. He was a bit surprised, but smiled anyway, holding out a hand to her. His smile was bright and wide, like today was an amazing day and nothing could go wrong, that was of course, other then walking along, minding his own business, then getting ran into. It did not matter, it was an accident, and she was apologizing, so it did not bother him. "Hey, it's alright.

Devon "Darla" Bryant Devon blushed lightly but smiled anyways, taking Itoni's hand and getting up from the ground. He felt like he had to smile when he saw the other male smiling, it was just a force of habit. "Y-Yeah, I'm fine..." The confused teen smiled nervously and rubbed the back of his neck. "W-Well uh, I can see that we're headed in opposite directions, so I'll be going now, I have to walk home..." He smiled again, still blushing as he started to walk away, biting his lower lip.

Devon "Darla" Bryant Devon blinked as Itoni said that he wanted to walk him home. "Um, if you want. My name is Darla." He said, smiling back lightly. He ran his fingers through his own hair as he looked up at the taller male. "Are you sure you want to walk me home? It's like ten blocks away..." He said softly.

Devon "Darla" Bryant Devon smiled back at him, moving his hair out of his face. "Well alright, if you insist." He blushed a little as he was offered a hand, but smiled and took it anyways as he walked to the school's exit. Once they were outside, he started skipping instead of walking, a force of habit.

He continued to walk, following her lead, as his mind wondered off to questions, or conversations to bring up. He thought for a moment longer before speaking. "So, Darla, Tell me about yourself?
How old are you?"He asked, smiling at her.

Devon "Darla" Bryant Devon was also wondering what to talk about, but the silence wasn't really that awkward since there was some background noise. Cars, people talking, etc. He blinked as he was asked a couple of questions, then smiled lightly. "I'm 15, and um... I'm captain of the cheerleading squad, I enjoy dancing and listening to music, and I love to read and write poetry~" He continued skipping as they talked, his hair bouncing with every step.

He looked over to her and chuckled lightly, hair bouncing, skirt flailing, wait- "Hey, um, you know that skirt is pretty short, right...?"He said with a nervous chuckle.
