Oh I meant those new Gaia Cash items Let it Ride, Pick a Card, Flynn's Booty and Chest and Flip a Coin. Those grant so much gold sometimes. I think pick a card had a prize of up to 1 billion gold. I saw a live opening and someone got around 800m from a bundle... and they bought a bundle for 80m... so that's like 10x the profit.
Lol I've been away so long, Im not sure if 65m for a dream avi is expensive or not lol, I don't know the worth of Gold, or anything like that. I assume this is Gaia trying to deflate the prices of the 2003 Items, and while that did happen, it caused the market overall to inflate lol
It's horrific how much crap has inflated. Before I came back my account was worth 30m and now it's worth over 250m... so yeah everything has inflated. It's kind of hard to buy and sell at the marketplace now because of the heavy flow of cash shop items/bundles that have been released recently. With the releases, items become less and less rare obviously, 65m for a dream avi is subjective too. Some people think this is a final plot to release so many GC items that they make a lot of money and shut down soon. Before we would get 1 chance item and maybe a bundle or a few but these past few months, they've been releasing stuff under our noses into the cash shop and then making an announcement like 2-3 days later.

Some people are disheartened because they did state that MC's wouldn't be released again and grow more rare as time goes on, but they've been re-releasing the halo's, slippers, and even those original mini wings.
They will always re-release items to make it fair for people who are just now joining. It would be unfair to them to let the older items fade into oblivion, but with that being said, its no secret that companies try to appeal to newer users rather than their older ones using the logic "if you've been here for X amount of years, chances are you'll stay, while if you've been here for X amount of days, chances are you'll leave." For instances, why did you come back to Gaia, assuming you've left before? Was it cause it was fun? Met some awesome people? Whatever the case may be, you left and came back lol. They've already got you, they just need to focus on keeping the new ones. Hence the re-release of the old 2003 MCs
I get that, but with gold generators, what about the new people who don't buy Gaia Cash? I remember back then it was a hassle to make gold(you may remember too, as most do I feel), there was no booty grab or zOMG! With all these gold generators items it becomes even more expensive as gold is pumped back into Gaia. There are even people who are trying to heavily inflate items too that aren't being sold in the market place like plague noir(which yeah the re-realeases are good). It's not quite fair when new people are joining not expecting to spend money on this site to look cute or have something amazing and they try to make avatar under 500k but most cute items are pretty expensive. The gold generators make it impossible because the people buying the gaia cash items are getting millions and millions out of these items.

I never said I agreed with it. I merely can see the reasonings behind the re-releases. Would I like a re-release of the Marionette Items? Yeah probably. Would others who have the item like it? Probably not. It goes by person to person.
