Birdy awoke next to Ace who was, let's be honest, not the easiest to wake from a slumber especially as how these past two months have been since they have arrived on the island. Birdy shakes his body to get himself up so to say and starts pecking on Ace's face while he dodges the swats thrown at him until Ace groggily gets up, pets him, and gets ready for whatever he plans to do today including to make sure he has fed his cute little Canary.
Birdy happily followed Ace along on his routine until after his breakfast where he then flew off and went into the woods. Birdy flew around the area until he found the small watering hole that his new friends liked to hang out at and he lands in one of the nearby trees to locate them.

Keve yawned, arching his back as he stretched himself awake. Lately, his newest owner hadn't been looking after him properly, not like how Tyrek had. She often seemed lost in her own thoughts, only stopping to give him fresh water and food on the occasion. Noting that she was not in her room, Keve leaped from his bedding, landing gracefully on the floor. He then scurried outside, making his way to the watering hole. A familiar yellow bird could be seen, and he gave a short cry as a hello.

The forest that dominated the island was still and serene, as it often was in the predawn mornings. However, once the sun rose above the horizon to illuminate the canopy, all manner of life began to stir. One such inhabitant was Caw, who had perched on a precariously thin branch late the night before. At first he looked merely puffy, having ruffled his cerulean feathers to stay warm, but when his eyes opened, it was clear that he was more than he seemed.
Having heard the calls of his gathering friends at the watering hole below, he lifted his great orange bill and opened it to answer with an excited caw. It was then that the tiny branch, which had until then managed to hold his weight, snapped. Caw dropped to the ground, which only was a few short feet below, to land squarely on his tail feathers. With a laugh he got his feet beneath him and lifted. Standing at about three feet, he was clearly the tallest avian around, but he never thought to use it against anyone. No, Caw was a rather helpful creature, innocent in nature and clumsy as only one of his stature could be.(When I wrote this, I imagined a narrator from some animal show was reading it. lol It made the whole things much funnier. XD)

Giving a panicked cry, Keve scrambled to get out of the way of the falling bird. Feeling the wind of Caw's fall literally an inch away from his tail, he heaved exaggerated breaths, as if to say that he had barely escaped with his life. Shooting a glance at the blue bird, Keve made a questioning noise, asking if the avian was ok from his fall. He couldn't fault the bumbling bird; he'd learned that Caw was naturally clumsy, something that at times, amused the ferret. It kept things a bit interesting around here, at least. Giving a quiet yawn, Marlock waddled out of his burrow to see his friends gathered by the small pond, to which he lived next to since he liked to live by the small stream. Quacking happily, he waded into the water and swam closer, enjoying the feel of the water against his fur. Coming to the side where the other animals were, he crawled out of the water, giving a little shake as he did so. It was looking to be another relaxing day for them.

Birdy saw his feathered friend go to the ground and scare Keve which made him laugh from the perch he was on for a second or two. He then flies down to the group after seeing Marlock come out of his burrow and chirped happily to everyone. He knew today was going to be a good day and was excited to see what adventure they would all go on in this island. Birdy knew he had almost all day to do what he wanted as Ace finally had a free day off and wouldn't need his company really as he wouldn't have to do as much work. Either way Birdy chirped hello to his friends and fluttered his wings a bit as he looked at the three.

Honeysuckle was a shy creature by nature, but having heard the noises of her friends, she pulled herself out of her burrow. It was a cozy little hole partially roofed by the raised roots of an old oak tree, and when she came bustling out she took a moment to clear her doorway of the leaves that constantly tried to clutter it.
It was only after, when she was trotting closer to see what the noise was about, that she heard a rustling in the bushes behind her. Then, as if a switch had been thrown in her, Honey twisted around and did a hand stand. She hissed furiously as she pointed her only defense towards the threat, backing carefully away.
