History: B’shen is Eli’s eldest child. While his mother never married, something a bit talked about among the holders, she raised three children. B’shen has a younger sister, Phara, they have different fathers, though he doesn’t really care, and is very close to his cousin Romi, who is older than he is. Not like that is important. His childhood was somewhat normal, he lived his mother and grandmother and so he didn’t know his mother was sleeping with a married man till he was twelve. Obviously the smith had his own problems, even if his mother can be a bit overbearing. Very overbearing.

B’shen before bonding to Hazmath attempted a few year a Harpershall before ending up in Ista to learn glassblowing. Glassblowing is his passion, and when he gets a chance he still works his craft, thread or no thread. Glasswork just calls to him, specially working glass beads.

He became a candidate at 18, senior apprentice ship near finished and decided he could stand once… if he impressed, he impressed. If he didn’t, he would turn back to glass work, if he did, well he would still work the forge. He was drawn to the egg, with its copper and gold texture shell that just spoke to his inner artist. That egg was the second to hatch, explode really, and spilled a clumsy excited blue that soon choose B’shen out of all the other candidates. After he was knocked down, but who can blame Hazmath? He was the most adorable hatching, yes he was.


Hazmath and B’shen worked hard, and he became a journey man before accepting a transfer to Malvren horribly curious about atypes and wanting a bit of adventure. He got more than enough adventure with the revolution and Keller, and yeahh. Major nope.

They left not for Trine, but back to Ista. Ista was home but different, he was disillusioned about those eggs left out on the sands after a clutch. They could be someone. He met to go to Trine, but rumors of Euclid came and now, he thinks he will pledge himself and his dragon to the rogue gold, if she delivers what she promises.

Description:B’shen is a coppery top, his hair is a curling mess of coppery brown shot with a bit of red and blonde. He is tall not quite topping six foot, just a tad below at 5’11’ and a ropey muscular solid at 190lbs. His skin tone is olive, sun and weather roughen. His nose has been broken and is crooked, not that he minds. He has a scar bisecting his left eyebrow. His upper lip is thin, but he has a full lower lip, giving him a small pout.

Personality: High stamina, large imagination, and boundless energy, B’shen comes across as cheerful, bright, and a bit hyperactive and overwhelming. He gestures, and if he hasn’t actually slept is prone to babble. He forgets small things, like sleep and eating when he starts focusing on projects or fighting thread. He is spontaneous, starting sketches and forgetting projects; he doesn’t forget projects when he has the glass melted and working on blowing it but if they don’t get done on paper, they don’t get done in the forge. He is warm, caring about others even if he doesn’t know them. It not uncommon for him to show up with an extra mug of khal and meat roll. He believe everything has a right to live and is more of a follower then a leader. He has a sense of humor, if a bit eccentric at times.

Personality: Hello! Hi there! Blue Hazmath is very happy to see you! He's ready to play, and explore and--oh! ...What if you don't like him? What if he's bothering you? What if you never want to be friends?! THAT CAN'T BE!

Ok, so perhaps Hazmath is a bit explosive when it comes to his emotions. He doesn't really mean any harm by it, and more often then not his rider can safely rein him in to resemble something like 'calm' or perhaps just 'collected.' This blue loves getting worked up, although admittedly he prefers the positive kind that leads to Great Adventure or just a round of good laughs with his wingmates. He'll always be a volcano ready to go, if a soft-flowing and bubbly type of volcano with frequent burps of gaseous OMG! No one ever said being high-energy meant being out of control!

Most of the time Hazmath is a silly and enthusiastic blue, average in both size and intelligence. He's not the one superiors would pin the 'troublemaker' badge on, but he would be second or third in line. Generally easy to get along with, dragons made of sterner stuff might find him a bit exasperating but everyone else would probably just find him funny. On the wing he'll be dedicated and enthusiastic, though his rider will have to manage his energy levels to avoid him becoming too tired before the drill is complete. Chasing females will also have to be handled in a similar fashion, though at those times Hazmath would prefer that his rider just take a back seat and let him play a bit.
