Personality: Friendly but sarcastic at times. Can be extremely crude and dark.
History:
Ukitake is a ninja from the Hidden Village of Gaia. Little is known about him and his clan but he is generally very helpful. His conscious gets in the way during controversial times. He tries to avoid getting involved in political fights and wanders by himself.
His blade carries the soul of his sword, named the nine-tails or Kyuubi. It is his other half of his soul, so-to-speak, granting him special abilities. A number of them are flame-related attacks and defense techniques.

Ukitake has awakened from slumber from centuries of sleep, entering a new time and era as he again searches for the secrets of time-travel. He has awakened miles upon miles from the Hidden Gaia, preserved by Kyuubi's flames. Ukitake however is not lonely. Kyuubi serves as his companion, which makes Ukitake somewhat of a loner.
Appearance:
A medium built ninja with his forehead protector from the Hidden Gaia tightly wrapped around above his nose. He wears mithril underneath his shinobi vest, which has slots for scrolls, pens and the like. He wears a black leather belt, which contains a small pouch next to his left hip containing kunais and shurukins. He wears wooden planks as shoes with a leather strap keeping his feet in place. Ukitake's hair is cut short, but glistens in the bright sun. It is a shade of navy blue.
His soul-katana is kept in a sheath behind his back with the handle next to his right shoulder. A small imprint of nine-tails can be seen near the hilt, glowing when Ukitake is ready to fight.
Abilities:
Soul Release: Kyuubi's blade is just a regular sword until released. During the first release, only one-tail is lit. When all nine are lit, then Kyuubi enters his second form.
Ninjutsu - Ukitake is a certified Jounin from the Hidden Village of Gaia. What that means now though is a mystery in this new world.
Weapon Master - Ukitake sometimes chooses to not use his sword but instead standard kunai and shurikens.
Elements Mastered: Water, Earth, Lightning
Interestingly enough, he is terrible with fire style ninjutsu, despite throwing flames around through his sword.

Race: Zanpakutou/Soul
Weapon: Himself
Personality: Quirky but knowledgeable. Usually follows Ukitake's orders to fight. Is in his sword form most of the time. Appears as a transparent soul next to Ukitake that can only be seen by his shinobi master.
History:
They say that a people of Ukitake's clan are born with two souls, one of the human and one of the blade.
Kyuubi has lived as long as Ukitake, but only realized of his existence when Ukitake turned 10 years old when his blade formed during a time of dire need. Kyuubi has acted as a weapon and a mentor to Ukitake, though has a personality entirely separate. However, it can still be said that the two are different parts of the same coin.
Appearance:
In his human form, a tall built young man with fiery red hair (changes to blue on occasion). He wears a blue cloak, with wooden planks as shoes and standard ninja shorts. When wielding himself (the sword), he materializes it in his hands rather than unsheathing it like Ukitake.
Abilities:
Flame Shield - A rather large wall of flames erupts and defends the user against most solid attacks, melting or burning them on impact
9-tails activation - Kyuubi's nine-tails on the hilt of the blade light up to indicate various power ups. When all nine are lit, Ukitake is taking his opponent seriously. Usually never goes up beyond three.

Age: 168
Gender: Male
Race: Whitelighter
Weapon: None
Personality: Generally friendly. More aggressive than most whitelighters.
History:
Kay has been a whitelighter since his passing at the age of 26, where he sacrificed his life to block an incoming crossbow from a darklighter to a bystanding witch.
He now mentors incoming witches and warlocks, acting as their spiritual and messenger from the Elders.
Appearance:
Grayish hair but wears a hoodie along with jeans and running shoes. Looks like a normal civilian. Usually slightly unshaven.
Abilities:
Orbing - Teleports Kay to any location within his choosing by turning himself into millions of blue specks and reappearing whole. Can take multiple passengers.
Lightning - Kay shoots lightning out of his hands to harm his foe. Usually never uses this ability as it is forbidden by the Elders.
Basic Martial Arts - Kay was almost a black belt in jujitsu before he passed. Takes time honing his skills when he has time.
