 She smiles back, at least until he moves to shield her- and the coming footsteps remind her this is a public space. Her breath catches in her throat, and then she exhales forcefully, standing on tip-toe to see the new additions, evaluating them and realizing how happy they were- and that they held a corset. Well, no judgements here, then. So she moves away from Q, deciding she wasn't going to be shielded.
"Coffee sounds great," she says brightly, ignoring any attempts at a warning. She's fine, she looks gorgeous, she isn't going to be afraid anymore- isn't that what she had been telling herself?

A brisk, windy day was breezing about the complex, whipping about papers and crunchy dead leaves that hadn't quite been stomped down to earth yet. Diana was the first to enter, her tiny fingers gently wrapping around the door as she pushed it the rest of the way open. Primrose followed, slightly leaned forward and her hair bristled up. Last was Zane, who didn't seem to even recognize that it was at all chilly outside.
The smallest of the three, Diana, pulled her soft cardigan around her closer. She spied a tunic that she fancied, but dare not rush to it. No, she'd rather quietly mull about the shop until she was given the okay.
Primrose looked as though she was completely out of her element. "I know not why you requested me to come." She spoke softly, her voice warm and rich.
"Perhaps it will help you transition," Diana started, glancing about the shop. "I would say to a human but that's not the right word..."
"To sentience." Zane added cooly. The white kit shot him a furrowed glare.
"No! To... ooh-lee-sih-keet."
