Ratings (lower enlisted) are placed four to a room, in bunk beds. The rooms are decently sized, so there is some living room.
Non-Commissioned Officers (Senior Enlisted) are placed in two-man rooms the same size as the rating quarters. Civilians receive the same sized rooms.
Senior NCOs are given single-man rooms the size of a normal NCO room.
The Boson's quarters are the size of a junior Officer's room, but the Boson lives alone.
Junior Officers (Ensign-Lieutenant Junior Grade) receive a two-man room slightly larger than an NCO room.
Senior Officers (Lieutenant-Lieutenant Commander) receive a single-man room the size of a junior Officer's room. Important Civilians receive the same rooms.
Staff (Bridge Officers and Department Heads, Officer and NCO) are given single-man rooms larger than a senior Officer's.
The Captain's Quarters are twice as large as a Staff Officer's quarters.
