Umraeva slipped back into the bar for long enough to thank him for the use of the courtyard and pay for the rolls she'd barely touched and the wine she hadn't tasted, then she was off down the streets once more.
Even tired from the workout, it wasn't hard for her to get over the wall and up to the window. She slipped into her rooms, and looked around - then smiled. It didn't look like anyone had noticed she was gone. But then, the way she'd 'huffed off' after dinner, they probably figured she'd been sulking until she fell asleep. Umraeva slipped out of her sweaty clothes and gave herself a quick wash with a cloth and the washbasin in the corner before slipping into bed, there to sleep with a smile on her face for the first time in months.
