𝕴n a far away land of magic and heroism, a darkness has spread over the kingdom of D'nalb and has threaten the peace of harmony of the country side. Many say this darkness hails from the unholy land of Emanlive, a frightening and wretched place home to many villainous and sinister species! A castle by the name of Castle Eh'cilc has shown up almost out of thin air, and with it, the castle has brought an ill air and black clouds that loom over the village of Seoreh. Tales of necromancy, demonic rituals, and fearsome creatures lurking about the castle have spread fear throughout the land, and it wasn't until the kidnapping of five young women, did the kingdom decide it was time to investigate this mysterious, ominous structure!

Weeks went by without a reply to the call to arms, but fearing the worse, the King posted a massive reward on the return of the villagers. With the bounty in place, five heroes have took up arms and accepted this daunting journey in hopes to reap the enticing reward! Arriving at village of Seoroh, the adventures were not met with praise nor any form of welcome, just the slamming of windows, the quite breeze cutting through the silence, and Paul, the village tumbleweed, bouncing through the streets without even a hello to the strangers. Taking this as a sign of how frightened the villagers were of this castle, the party wasted no time assaulting the castle with weapons draw and fire spells hot! Storming the front doors was.. Surprisingly simple, and there was very little resistance as the adventures navigated the corridor maze
within the castle!

Five hours after bursting through the doors, the raiders spotted their first foe, a fat troll snacking on a leg of mutton. The adventures charge forth, pinning down the troll tried to explain that he was on his lunch break! He spouted strange words and spoke of "Minion unions", "hostile work environment", and "lawsuits". The dungeoneers released the beast, and the troll promptly left to file a complaint to the owner of the castle. The very next hour, the screams of the troll was heard fading away from the castle walls as he plummeted towards the rocks below! The adventures questioned the nonsense that just occurred and tried to fathom what sort of evil would throw their own minions out the window like that! Rethinking their strategy, the adventurers spent another few hours trying to find their way back out of the castle and regrouped at the town's inn.

Watching the trespassers leave the castle, the "lord" of the castle released a flock of strange, flying stones and ordered them to search the kingdom! Each stone darted in a different direction, hunting down the land's most vile creatures to aid her in the protection of her keep! Within a matter of days, five stones returned with the response of five dark entities that seemed highly interested in joining the evil overlord's plans for the destruction of the kingdom! With the promise of wealth, power, and a single wish from the High Overlord of Emanlive, the five villains traveled to the castle for their new positions of power! With these new commanders, the overlord of the castle stands a fighting chance against the valiant invaders, but will they be enough…?

Basic Rules
#1 (Mistress Hesneri is the reigning Villain of this rp xD Follow me or be banned in a rather comical way! If you have any questions, please pm me ^^)

#2 (Follow Gaia rules, ToS, Guild rules. When things get too violent or steamy, time skip! =3)

#3 (No auto-hitting {Unless given permission by the owner of the character or minion.}. No Godmodding, no meta gaming or killing other people's characters without permission! )

#4 (No 1337 speak or text talking! This is a Literate to Advanced Literate rp! No one liners, two paragraph minimum with a minimum of seven sentence per paragraph! Use the OOC channel for any ooc type conversations! -Please- make posts pretty and add a space to tell who your character is around and where they are.)

#5 (The rp starts out with five open slots for each critical roll. If I want more to join, then I will open more. ^.^ If you'd like to make a minion for a villain {note, minions -will- die, unless they're one of those incompetent minions that never really die but are defeated from time to time. I.E., 21 and 24 from Venture Brothers!} Just hand me a reserve! ((People who make twins please tell me before hand)) )

#6 (Damsels are free to try and escape, the villains are free to reclaim parts of the castle the heroes have cleared, and heroes are free to place traps in places they clear or camp there for the night!)

#6.1 (To make this go a little smoother, villains will either work alone or in pairs defending the castle each day while others slack off, watch over the prisoners, or attack the town! Put a heart somewhere in your reserve to show you have read the rules. I say this so we don't have all five commanders attacking the hero party at once and everyone is stuck waiting on one guy, halting the entire rp! ^^ The heroes are exempt from this, but they are free to split off into smaller groups if they want to!)

#7 (If you're going away for a while, please send me a PM telling me so and inform the OOC as well. Any unexcused inactivity lasting longer than a week will be punished with removal from the rp!)

#8 (All PM's will be sent to me. Put the name of the title of the character you wish to reserve in the title for all reserves. For minion reserves, just use the title "Minion!" as the title of the PM All profiles will be sent to me under the title "Monster Mash!" )

#8.1 (When your profile is accepted, please post it in the profile page! Remember to update your profile to adjust hit points or stats )

#9 (The village of Seoreh is somewhat large, and you are free to make up places in the village if you wish!)

#10 (I will change/add rules when and if I need to!)

#11 (Drama is fine, as long as its IC! No OOC drama =3. Well... )

Attention Commanders!

Greetings commanders,

I am the Nefarious Witch Blare Darkwaters, daughter of Overlord Xavier Darkwaters. Yes, that Overlord Darkwaters that reigns over the unholy lands Emanlive, home to many dark creatures minions, and beasts! My father has tasked me to open a portal to the Eldricht Dimension, and begin the invasion of this kingdom, but in order todo that we must capture and protect five villager maidens until the Blood Moon when we will sacrifice them to open te gates. You have been hired to prevent the heroes, who will stop at nothing, from hinder our plans. This castle at be big, but size is nothing without a good security system, and my father won't give me a hidden inverse section to the castle until I prove to him I deserve it, so a normal, giant evil castle will have to do for now... Even if my brother already has an inverse castle installed onto his castle AND a dragon, but don't fright for with your aid, we too will have dragon, an inverse castle, and maybe even a pair of giant tesla coil to zap our enemies at the gate!

The devil's beard, did I actually write all that? Moving on! Each commander will be given minions to aid in the building of defenses, watch over our captives, raid the nearby village, and do the bidding of their masters or mistresses! Since this is my first evil castle project, my father didn't provide the most intelligent minions, so don't expect them to be a crack pot team of specialists. You are free to build what ever traps needed to stop the heroes in any of the many rooms and corridors throughout the castle, just try to coordinate with each other! When attacking the village, try not to get captured, I don't want to spend time saving you guys; not to mention, I want this to go wit little error as possible, so I can rub it in my brothers' face! Lastly, I don't know a lot about the heroes we will be dealing with; all I know is that this won't be their first evil castle seige, so for under estimate them!

As of late, the heroes have been holding up in the nearby village of Seoreh. I'm sure they're buying supplies and picking the strategy to attack us with, but do not let that intimidate you! The entrance level may have been seized, but they have yet to find the steps to the second level, so it would be best to start there! Chose a spot, set up traps, and defend this castle with all your might!

Business aside, welcome to Castle Eh'cilc! Make yourselves at home, make use of all the resources that my father has provided us, if you need a break the tavern is always open (two drink minimum), and remember: no fraternizing with the sacrifices or enemy! Enjoy your stay at Castle Eh'cilc and good luck commanders!

First Floor

Foyer
The castle's foyer is fairly large, filled with priceless, cursed artifacts that often trigger traps when moved or burden the holder with a spell of weakness of various other hexes. Two spiraling staircases lead one towards a landing with various locked doors hiding traps and minions just waiting to catch a hero by surprise! A red carpet stretches from the entrance towards two suits of armor guarding the door leading to the catacombs. These armored suits are not currently living due to the heroes' conquest of the first floor, but if reclaimed, magic can bring these soldiers to life!

Catacombs
The castle's catacombs is a damp, dreary place smelling of undeath and necromancy! This large coffin maze is filled with spike and pit traps, skeletal horrors, zombies, lesser vampiric beings, and various other spawns of necromancy. In the center of this maze is a empty crypt filled with coffers and graves, a perfect place for a commander to station themselves for an ambush, and beyond the exit of this large crypt is yet more winding corridors that complete the catacomb's hedge maze appearance.

Blood Skeletons
Poisonous Skeletons
Skeletons
Zombies
Flesh horrors
Lesser Vampires
Ghouls
Giant Spiders

Overgrown Garden
The gardens is a jungle of supernatural plans and insects that can pose a serious threat to the heroes. Though its more straight forward than the catacombs, its still easy to get lost in the thick jungle housed within this castle. All sorts of noxious plants grow throughout the garden, making it hard to breath at times, and hidden wards protect the garden from fire if someone gets the bright idea to burn it all down. An alluring smell drifts throughout the garden, easily drawing male heroes towards their sources, making ambushes and traps easy. At the end of the garden is a large throne where the Nefarious Witch enjoys sitting to watch her vicious plants feed, but its always a good spot for a commander to sit and wait for the heroes to finish their dangerous journey! [X] [X]
Minions:
Man Eating Plants
Overgrown Stranglevines
Alraune Roses
Vicious Thorn Plants
Treants
Mad Mandrakes
Swamp Monsters

Dungeon Level
(A little music to listen while reading this section! [X] )

Dungeons
Just like the evil castles of the land of Emanlive, the Evil Dungeon Inc. delivers a dungeon that spreads throughout the lowest level of your castle filled with cells, cages, and torture rooms for all your evil tormenting needs! This two hundred room dungeon is complete with damp, slimy walls, the sound rattling chains that seem to come out of thin air, and giant tentacle eye monsters that roam the halls; that's right, Beholders come standard with the the Gold Dungeon Package! Your heroes will be crawling through this seemingly endless dungeon for what will seem like days in the search for treasure, captured princesses, mythical artifacts, or all of the above! We promise your prisoners will be screaming in agony just to get into one of our "luxurious" dungeon cells. Each cell houses two prisoners with two flat, wooden beds, a bucket in the corner, and a drain with a 101 uses, but don't be afraid of any sewage themed escapes, for the drain is only a foot in diameter! Yes, your dungeon will have it all, traps, monsters, and unnamed prisoners begging for mercy! So order today! [X][X]
Minions:

Goblins
Skeletons

Secret Path
No dungeon would be complete without a route to the nearest town. If you ever need to sneak into a village and kidnap a group little child for your next big dinner party, our overly complicated dungeon route is for you! Simplistic to the minions and owners of the castle, this route is filled with traps, perilous jumps, and enough spike pits to make a porcupine jealous! He'll say, "Man that castle has a lot of spikes! Where can I get spikes like those!" Well Mr Porcupine, you can find these great traps and more at Evil Dungeon's Inc.! Our Platinum Package provides your minions an easy and secret route to and from your castle while making the trip deadly for any and all invaders! It even has traps to recapture any escapees from one of our patented Dungeons, not that our Dungeons are ever escapable, but this secret path is just some added insurance that your prisoners won't escape so easily! From transporting much needed supplies to just needing a place to take a smoke break, our secret paths are safe and fun for all minions of all ages! Order now, and we'll even send you your very own stone guardian, equip with the latest "ancient" sword and armor guaranteed to make your heroes go "Holy crap, we're in for a world of hurt"! So next time you need a secret path, remember Evil Dungeon Inc. always has your back! [X]
Minions:
"Ancient" Stone Guardian
Giant Spiders
Skeletons

Second Floor

"Haunted Theater"
Constructed to look like a run down theater, this section, or rather level of the castle is filled with specters, ghosts, and wraiths! Music is always playing in the distance, and no matter how far you go to follow it, you will never find the source! Filled with trap doors, falling sand bags, and other traps one would find in an old abandoned theater, this frighting place is also home to skeletal actors and living props! Be careful you do not fall prey to one of the theater's magical traps that will ensare you in a horrible play that could be life or death for you or your friends! When you enter this area, you find yourself in the back stage, and you will be lead through the many prop rooms, stages, and lobbies where monsters and spirits lurk! Before the heroes can find their way to next section of the castle, they will have to come across the "Grand Stage" where a commander can force their victims to act in a play of their own sinister design!
[X][X]
Minions:
Haunted Props
Phantoms
Ghosts
Wraiths
Skeletons
Gargoyles

"Unholy Church"
The Unholy Church is one of the Witch's pride and joys! Constructed from her own designs, the unholy church is place of Abyssal Worship, and the spot where the gateway will open if she has her way! This church is fairly large in size, but open as well. A pipe organ plays a chilling tune in the distance as the chanting of necromancers and warlocks echo through the stone cathedral. Demons fly between the buttresses and gargoyles watch stoically as heroes walk through this grand church. Unholy runes are hidden throughout the church, triggered to unleash devastating spells onto anyone who steps on them or activates them by touch. This church is no maze nor is it hard to navigate, but its dark aura is great enough to compel even the most righteous of heroes! A large statue of Grand Overlord Darkwaters stands behind the sacrificial alter with his arms held up towards a stain glass (stained with the blood of mortals) depiction of the Abyss sun shining down onto the floor of the church, often matching up with an obsidian circle in the dead center of the church's floor. Etched within the circle is a demonic magic circle meant to open the gateway when filled with blood and bathed with the light of the full moon! Hanging above the circle is a strange chandelier that dangles on a twisted rope of tubing that feeds into the ceiling that is thought to transport the blood from the observatory down to church, (but this is all unnecessary detail for the Witch to remember where the portal is suppose to go later on in the story!) The exit to this section of the castle is hidden behind the statue, so there is a good chance the heroes will be searching this place for quiet some time! This place is perfect for those commanders who like to perform dark rituals on their prey or summon large demons to aid them in their battle!
Minions:
Demons of all variety!
Cultists
Necromancers
Dark Priests
Gargoyles
Imps

Library
The ever changing castle library is a confusing, logic defying pocket dimension filled with a countless number of books and ledgers written in unholy languages and ancient evil symbols. Those that have ventured into this realm are rarely ever seen again, either lost in the exploration of the library's vast collection of spell books and tactical guides, or just simply lost in the dimension's shifting trap. This section of the map is never the same, and it has been known to change is shape and physics to send heroes and minions alike in different directions, be it up upside-down stairs to walk along the wall or ceiling, or any other mind boggling path. Its a library out of a madman's dream painting! Unless one can find the heart of this insanity inducing lair, they will be trapped within it.. Forever! Or until the Witch pulls them out of it because they were too stupid to remember the magical words to teleport out of it![X]

This section will explain the more… Elaborate minions! Those that aren't really self explanatory or well known.

Alruane Roses- Doused in the blood of men and embued with black magic, this special type of mandrake has bloomed into a vibrantly colored rose that houses the body of a beautiful maiden within the center of its peddles. Releasing an intoxicating aroma, it lures its prey to its closed bud and opens to reveal its beauty to the unsuspecting victim. When the prey comes close to this flower maiden, thorny vines break out from the ground, coiling around the victim and drain them of their life. If attacked from a distance, they will result to firing poison thorns to weaken their prey while attempting to reach out for them with their vines.

Skeletons- If you don't know what a skeleton is, then you are a complete.. Numb skull! Huh? Huh? Anyways, these living collection of bones are your most standard minion, easily destroyed while also being easily to create make up for bulk of any evil villain's army! They come in different sizes, often wear armor, wield weapons they died holding, while some have special properties. On an entirely different note, when compelled with boredom, skeletons are known to break out in song and dance, using each other's bones as musical instruments in what they like to call "Show tunes". Its best to send them at the enemy as soon as possible to avoid listening to their songs...

Poison skeletons are one of those special types of skeletons; with a death related to acid, venom, or poison, these skeletons are infused with highly lethal toxins that they can inject into their victims by a simple bite or scratch. They drool acid and are quiet agile, but they are much more frail than normal skeletons due to the instability of their poisoned bones.

Blood skeletons, slain in the most horrific, bloody ways imaginable, have absorbed their blood through the help of magic and roam the land aimlessly. Once defeated, these skeletons reanimate within minutes thanks to the magical properties of their bloody bones, however, they do not seek revenge. They merely continue down the path they were wandering as if nothing had happened, making them decent patrols. If a minion has fallen in battle, don't be surprised if you find their skeleton armed to the teeth one floor above, for recycling minions by raising them as skeletal versions of themselves makes for a cost efficient way of bolstering one's defenses!

Flesh Horrors- These amalgamations of flesh and organs slither along the floor searching for fleshy beings to assimilate into their hideous forms. These blobs steal properties and abilities of the creatures they absorb to defend themselves in the heat of battle, and take on a mutated form of their past victims to increase their chances of surviving. Fire works wonders on these horror and reduces them into a puddle of burning fleshy goop within seconds, but just be careful they haven't absorbed any salamanders or anything else fire proof, or you might have to result to acid!

Ghouls- Unlike zombies, ghouls are fatally ill mortal beings that have fallen under the suggestive powers of necromancy. Their dying bodies are strengthen and altered through dark magic, making them ferocious killing machines, sadly the transformation is often too much for the mortal's body and results in their deaths. The dark magic fills their bodies, making them a part of the unliving horde, but their bodies are fairly stronger and faster than that of a zombie's due to the fact that they went from living to undead instead of dead to undead! In a sense they are super zombies!

Man Eating Plants- There are a variety of these types of meat eating plants, and they each have their own approach to finding and capturing prey.

Venus Traps are much like their alien looking fly trap cousins, however, these are much larger and make use of long vines to grab their prey and drag them into their mouths. They are capable of leeching off life energy through these vines, and can lift things five times their own weight.

Vase Traps resemble their cousin, the pitcher plant; however other than their size, they are capable of stretching their tubes to engulf their prey where they are standing. The ground around their base is covered in grass like webbing that are covered with a sticky substance that traps their food close enough to the tube that they can engulf them.

The Ceamourist Carnivorous is a large cabbage like plant that sits quietly, tricking their prey into thinking they're harmless.. Or just a giant piece of cabbage. When a victim comes close enough, the Ceamourist Carnivorous lets out a loud whine, confusing the prey. While confused, the plant opens its cabbagy mouth, revealing its razor sharp teeth, and bites down onto the closest piece of meat it can find! Smaller buds will stretch out from the mouth if the prey is too far away and will take tiny chunks off with each bite! Sometimes people think they hear the creature moan out "Feeed meeee"..

Overgrown Stranglevines- Stranglevines are long vines that dangle across the garden from the branches of trees. They create a web throughout the canopy of the jungle, making it difficult to avoid the monsters below by traveling from tree to tree! Once touched, they quickly coil around the source and strangle the life from the victim, draining their life force. Once they have finished draining their prey, they simply drop the body onto the ground where one of the many man eating plants might snag for their next meal.

Vicious Thorn Plants - Thorn Plants are thick, thorny bushes that survive off the little sunlight that shines through the canopy of the garden. They are not exactly fearsome monsters like the other residents of the garden, but with a little bit of dark magic, these bushes become violent, thorn shooting plants that attack anything that brush up against them. When planted together in a meadow, they become mine fiend of pain and agony, or one can simply use them to protect larger plants such as Alraune Roses.

Treants - In the castle's garden, some of the jungle trees are capable of coming to life, making them perfect for ambushes. They quickly lose their leaves and make use of their branches to grab or impale enemies. Much like man eating plants, they will dine on the flesh of people, but unlike man eating plants, they are not grown to do so. Due to the magic possessing their bodies, they must feed off life energy to sustain the energy needed to continue maintaining their living form. Covered in runes to protect them from fire spells, a good way of destroying one of these treants is to purge the magic from their bodies.

Mad Mandrakes - Mad Mandrakes are over grown mandrake plants that have uprooted themselves and attack anything that moves, be it plant, foe, or ally, screaming in a high pitch tone that can make the skin literally crawl! To avoid any unwanted casualties, they are blindfolded before being deployed or at the moment they are fully grown and uproot themselves. These plant monsters are quiet strong, quick on their feet, but their attacks completely random. One moment they will be attacking a trespasser, the next they will attack a butterfly that happened to flutter pass its field of vision. Be cautious when using these minions!

Swamp Monsters - Covered in moss and water plants, these overgrown, aquatic mandrakes
