☠ Hippophobia - Fear of horsesPersonality || Relius is a a fairly quiet person. He's usually quiet and shy around other adults, but around children, Relius is talkative and lively. Relius is insecure about his discoveries and and secrets, so he prefers to work alone. Crowds make Relius sick. Relius doesn't want to be the center of attention, so he usually stays low. He dislikes big social gatherings, but he will show up if he's needed. He's intelligent and quick to act. However, Relius has a short temper and will snap fairly easily. He's stubborn, and his motives remain unclear. He's unstable and hard to control. However, Relius is very loving and affectionate with any lover he has.Powers/Abilities || Relius has the abilities to look into other people's memories. It's a very tedious chore that can sometimes result in mental scarring. Relius can also sense other people's auras and emotions.Biography || Relius was born about two weeks premature. His parents never wanted him in the first place, but they had no choice because they spent every night gambling and drinking, so they couldn't afford an abortion.
Relius was battered and abused all throughout his childhood. He was given no love or attention from his parents. The only person he was showed affection from was his twin sister. They both supported each other and stood up for each other when no one else was around to help.
When they were but mere teenagers, Relius and Crystal fled from their home to find some other place where they could live given the proper care and attention. One day, they stumbled across an elderly couple who had been unable to have children. The couple agreed to look over the twins as long as they did well in school and helped out around the house.
Relius graduated from high school with honors and went away to college. Meanwhile, the elderly couple that had been looking out for Relius and crystal fell ill. Crystal missed out on college to help her guardians, and Relius was going to drop out too, but the elderly couple encouraged him to stay in college.
The couple died three months later. Their deaths caused unstable thoughts and emotions to run through Relius's head. Relius graduated college at the top of his class, but he didn't venture out to find work. Instead, Relius confined himself to a quieter life.
Relius built his own laboratory in the huge forest that surrounded the small village of Valkenhyn. He worked there quietly on a secret project when a small child wandered into his laboratory and found out what Relius had been working on. Outraged, Relius locked the child away and preformed experiments on him to help with his project. Relius found the experiments to be so much fun that he started sneaking into Valkenhyn at exactly midnight and kidnapping any child that he saw. He soon became an urban legend.
