I think its pretty damn stupid if you ask me. Like I have no hatred towards Dillon, but they retire numbers in sports like basketball, football and baseball why can't they do this for car numbers in NASCAR, like Dale's #3 and Richard Petty's 43? ;_;

I'm fine with it. Hell, I'm even excited to see it back on the track!
I'm against retiring numbers, at least permanently. Bring it back so it's not forgotten!

I was never an Earnhardt fan...hell, I never was and never will be a fan of Richard Childress Racing or any of the Chev teams. But the thought of seeing the number 3 on the track again gives me such a huge...how shall I put this lightly...erection. I say wrap the car in black, and put it on the track against the Miller Lite #2 and make them battle it out like in the old days. Ford vs Chevy. Keselowski vs Dillon. Common Sense Vs Triple Homicide. Jesus ******** Christ I can't wait for the season to start!
Cept I can do without this stupid new chase format. I love the racing, but I'm getting tired of this thing where Mr. France gets all horny for changing every rule in the book every chance he gets.

It doesn't matter to me if the 3 is driven and who drives the 3. I just want all the Earnhardt fans to shut up. Seriously, it's annoying as hell to see them STILL b***h about it. Jr said it was ok, what else do you need to stop this!?
As for the new chase format. We are at a time where change has to happen. After the massive ******** up in Richmond last season, things HAD to change.
I actually like this format. There is more emphasis on wins and will keep things more tense in the chase. No longer is there a scenario where if person A finishes at x spot or higher there is nothing person B can do to win the championship. That is gone. It is an all or nothing situation for 4 drivers at Homestead. Which is how racing should be.

I'm not really bitching about it since there is nothing to really do now that its official, just stating my opinion ^_^. But I see what you mean, and the new chase format is pretty interesting
