Julius Monrey softly sighed and his paws paused mid-task. Carefully he placed the clock he was working on to the side. It was not productive to work when his mind was preoccupied and he admitted to himself that perhaps a break was needed. He ran his paws through his hair and gazed longingly through his window. His three daughters were nowhere in sight. One had joined a crew of an airship pirate group as their head engineer and his other two daughters were mostly likely on the sea. He hated to admit he was rather lonely without the noise a clock tower of daughter brought. It had been a rather unusual journey into parenthood. His first daughter came out of a relationship he had in his past life before he was charged with being the master of clock tower. His other two daughters had come out of a indiscretion he had in this life. Julius was a light foot when it came to drinking spirits and the girl’s mother had taken advantage of that fact. Still she had stayed around until their daughters were old enough before slinking away. She had left him with a better understanding of females and he was loath to experience a similar situation again. However the experience gave him two more daughters just as rambunctious as the first. Now the tower was silent and he was currently the only occupant.
Julius seldom felt a need to venture out of his tower for company. Most Wonderful Wonder World citizens grated on his nerves with the exception of Ace and Gowland. He especially hated run into the rabbit or the hare which he had a rather sorted past with. Julius suddenly stood up and walked out of his office and down the tower steps. He would not let his dislike for certain characters dictate his decisions. Julius would be a level headed adult and let his anger fall away. He would take a walk down a rather pleasing path near the tower and enjoy the day for what it was. He might even admire the blooming flowers or the way the clouds looked in the sky.
