The hat had a hard time choosing between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, in the end the hat saw Joseph as being such a kind guy that he was sorted into Hufflepuff.

Was born from a Squib and a Pure-Blood. Idk what that makes him.
Joseph's parents both came from upper class pure blood families. The marriage between his parents was arranged. His mother's parents hoped to hide the fact that she was a squib by marrying her to a pure blood. Joseph's mother never truly loved her husband but she had no say in the matter of her marriage. She was able to convince everyone that she was a Pureblood despite having no magic for years. She just told everyone that she preferred to use her magic on rare occasions. Her husband Hugh hated non-magic folk so she had to be convincing. Opal was able to have 2 children with Hugh before her secret came out. Her eldest daughter, whom was very smart and proper, adored Joseph. The two were very close. Sadly Justine developed a rare illness that could not be cured, also she was a squib like her mother. Joseph's father disowned her and gave her no medical help, he basically let her die. Opal and Joseph would often sneak out and visit Justine with money, medicine, food and clothes. During this time Joseph's mother revealed herself to be a squib to her two children. She trusted Joseph, even though he was young, not to tell. Joseph was taught by his father to hate basically everything that wasn't a pure blood wizard but his mother taught him to love everything. Joseph often felt conflicted and confused, it got worse once his sister died. He would hide in his room a lot to try to discover himself and to think alone. Somehow Joseph's mother's secret came out and she was beaten by her husband, divorced then both sides if the family cut her off. Joseph was forbidden from seeing her ever again. The family made sure that Joseph knew magic and he did. They continued to lie and say that his mother is a pure blood and the only reason she was disowned was because she was an unfaithful wife. Joseph's father wanted everyone to believe that Joseph was a full pure blood wizard. It was easy to convince people that Opal was a cheat because she had quickly moved in and had found love in a muggle. Now she has a little girl with him and us pregnant with yet another child of his. She lives in the muggle world and Joseph would secretly go see her now and then but very rarely. It was hard to sneak away from his strict father.
Joseph is a kind and caring guy. He's rather sweet but he does have a bit if a prankster side. He likes having what he considers innocent fun. Joseph is array her curious guy as well which can get him into trouble since he sticks his nose where it doesn't always belong. He has a pretty good sense of humor, he just doesn't like jokes or pranks that hurt people. Joseph is creative and kind if a dreamer. At times his head is in the clouds and sometimes he's pretty down to earth. Joseph doesn't like getting angry but it's not like one can simply ignore their negative feelings. He'll stand up for those in need. Joseph is a loyal friend, you can always count on him to have your back.

Played for 2 years as a student then just became a fan
Marigold or Mary as most call her, was born in the country side of the magical world. Her family owns a farm their and has always raised magical creatures. Most of her family were Hufflepuff students, very few were Gryffindor and only 1 was Slytherin. Mary was one if the few Gryffindor students in her family. She was always a troublemaker but a good one. She was always kind but never took anything seriously as a young girl. This lead to her making poor choices, one leading to her getting pregnant at 15 years old. Mary lost a lot of friends during that time and struggled. She thought about aborting the baby but her mother told her that she should take responsibility for her actions, don't blame the baby for what you did wrong she basically said. Mary listened to her mom and was very happy once she saw the cute little face of her daughter. Mary continued going to school after having a child. The baby would stay with Mary's mother during exams and certain weeks in the school year and other times she would stay at the school with Mary. Mary's baby daddy gave her money to help pay for the baby's needs until he graduated. Not long after she graduated did Mary get a job at the school.
Mary is a very peppy, silly and honest girl, sometimes a bit to honest. she'll be like brutally honest at times but she doesn't mean any harm. Most people describe her as being like a teen in a grown woman's body or even sometimes they see her as a child in a grown woman's body. Mary often has a positive look on things but she won't neglact the negative, she just won't try to focus on it as much if she can help it. She a kind woman over all.

Flare and Arson Haze

Flare: 5th year, 15 years old
Arson: 5th year, 15 years old
Arson and Flare are twins. They grew up in an evil family tha wires hoped Voldemort even though he is dead. Their family has all the same beliefs as Voldemort and they plan to finish what he started. Arson never in his life agreed with he rest of his family and Flare just preferred to not deal with them. Their mother got arrested for her multiple crimes and after that their father went into hiding. He tried to bring along all his kids but Arson and Flare ran away and took their younger sister with them. Their older brother Blaze went with their dad. Their father is now bing hunted down by the police and little does everyone know Blaze is now just as bad. Amber shares some of their parents beliefs but Arson is trying to change her. Arson, Flare and Amber were caught and brought to the ministry of magic. They were questioned and tested to see if they were like their parents and if they had any information on their father's where abouts. Due to the curse marks on Arson he was questioned more harshly and even tortured a bit. He received his curse mark from his father, it was supposed to connect them together. To this day Arson doesn't know what that means but even one knows that the curse is dark magic. The curse has other dark properties which sometimes warps Arson's judgement and makes him snap. After their question all the kids were sent to an orphanage but of course no one adopted them. The ministry of magic to this day keeps a close eye on all of them.
Flare seems pretty emotionless. She often keeps a straight face an has an uncaring attitude. She is quiet and doesn't like to concern herself with the issues of other people very often. When she gets overly angry she'll make sure that you get a piece of her mind. When she's hurt or when people she care's for a hurt she'll usually come up with a clever way of revenge and she'll make sure there is no way that her actions can be connected back to her. Sometimes she is brutally honest and sometimes she hides her true thoughts. It's hard to tell when she is and when she isn't lying due to her plain face. She'll usually only lie for the sake of her brother and about we feelings. At other times she's pretty honest. Flare has a lack of faith in people and humanity, she's kind of emo in that way.
Arson is an active and funny guy. He likes to mess around but at times he can be very distant and quiet like his sister. He doesn't like getting in trouble but trouble always seems to find him. He may come off as a total bad boy since he basically does whatever he wants but he's actually a good guy. He'll never betray his friends and he'll stand up for others but not for himself. He has some darkness hidden in him that he tries so desperately to control.
