Physical Description| Hinata is a medium-sized, curvy female who makes no fuss out of using her physical attributes to her advantage. She is golden in colour: hair, skin, even her eyes are all in shades of the Sun. The is one large, complicated, thorny-looking golden tattoo on her right shoulder.
she is usually slightly primly dressed, giving the impression of being a bit of a prude, well, up until she opens her mouth and describes things that would make a sailor go red as a beetroot in a beautiful and elegant voice and vocabulary.
Her hair is often in one or another elaborate hairdo that she adored changing from one day to another. She literally never looks the same during the course of the week.
One strange accessory to her otherwise old-world manners and outfit is the state-of-the-art headphones that she almost always has over her eyes. These are silver in colour and have a very much futuristic look about them. Only when things amaze her or shock her is she seen to remove these headphones.

Quirks

• Determined and intense. Hinata is a person for whom nothing is impossible. In point of fact, she rather dislikes the word, tending towards avoiding it whenever possible. If she gets an idea, there is nothing in this world or the next that will dissuade her, not even her own destruction. Her hot temper when she gets hooked unto an idea also knows no bounds.
  
  
• Shameless. Hinata is someone for whom shame holds no shame and is fully capable of making a complete and utter fool of herself if it means furthering her own devices. She adores flirting with everyone, man and women, though she generally means nothing by it other than having a laugh. she also adores dirty jokes, but will only say any in a very Victorian manner: with a high and proper use of language to describe the basest of actions.
  
  
• Sharply intelligent. This is someone for whom logic and reasoning is like breathing. She simply is incapable of 'turning off' these functions of her brain, despite it seemingly having nothing to do with her. There was never anyone for whom 'there is method in her madness' applies any better. Generally, on first glace nothing she does has any reason, but once enough time has past with careful observation, one can see a distinct direction Hinata is moving towards becoming vaguely outlined. However, this lady does her very best to keep her own interests under very strict wraps.
  Her ability to make connections between pieces of information also makes Hinata capable of gaining new and revolutionary ideas and putting them into practice; a Queen of Innovation in the making.

• Drowning. She fears this like blazes due to an accident she had when she was younger, but no one can get her to tell anymore about what, exactly, happened. Whatever was the cause, it has certainly left a very deep impression, indeed upon this person.

• Hinata has decided that she will earn the title of Greatest Prankster in the Gotei. In order to attain this questionable and infamous title all she needs to do, really, is to satisfy her already unquenchable thirst for knowledge and use it 'against' her fellows.

Chapter One Sun Song
400 years before the current date...
One should never be ashamed of what one is

Hinata was born into the world just like any other child had been since the down of time. One mother, one father, and then come the third. However, Hinata had not stayed over-long in the Land of the Living.

Being born into a family of middle-class merchants in the Edo Era, Hinata would not have had a very bad life. Not at all. However, it seemed that her birth was an unfortunate one as no sooner, it seemed, had she been born, but a fire started up in her family's home due to unknown reasons and had killed every single member of her family, including the newborn. It was a fierce blaze and one that has haunted that area ever since.

This event, this being cheated, almost of the life that had been given to her then brutally taken away seems to have left Hinata with a thirst, and almost insatiable hunger to gorge herself upon almost any and all experiences, regardless of what they might be. Seeking to find greater and greater thrills and staving off the boredom that she so fears, Hinata has not once fallen into trouble with authority and even friends. However, though this did cause her pause and concern at first, making her into a very shy and tongue-bitten teenager, as an adult she has come to the conclusion that one should never be ashamed of what one is.

When not chasing trouble, she was often found making a living singing and dancing to earn some money. She was known as Rugonkai's Dancing Sun and was popular enough, until she had to move on due to her tricks and pranks.

This habit caused her to loose a number of friends, but also helped her to gain more, striving to live what she has to the fullest and making her take a pivotal decision in her career: to join the ranks of the shinigami.

Even though she had avoided them like the plague for quite some time despite her spiritual pressure being more than enough for this job, Hinata had decided that she did not like the rigid and strict structure of the organisation, terming those who left her area to join 'loosers' and 'weaklings' who were 'going to find a new mommy to suckle'. Despite this, after seeing a group of shinigami in action against a hollow that had been terrorizing their area, Hinata changed her mind, realizing that if she were part of such a group, she would have more venues for expressing her abilities and having fun. With this in mind, she turned her back on her dumbfounded friends of many years and stalked over to the Seireitei and demanded to be let in. Immediately, if not sooner.

Once admitted, Hinata quickly showed her aptitude for this line of work and her vocal-based zanpaktou was one that elicited some surprise as it was not one based on sheer power but more on beauty, which was deemed rather useless in a fight.

Irked to the extreme, Hinata is now determined to prove them wrong so that she can make those who said so eat their words and, possibly, poop rainbows and unicorns.

Zanpakutō Blade Changes |

The golden-silver cold that connects Hinata's headphones to the zanpaktou at her hip releases its hold on her sword and curls itself about her throat in what is almost a death-grip.
Also, her elaborate tattoo upon her left shoulder glows and crawls up her face and down her left arm and hand right down to wrapping itself around her fingers like filaments that weave and interconnect until they form their final, golden pattern which connects with the cord around her neck.
It is through this that reiryoku is pulled out of her body and into her ability, thus enhanceing Hinata's already powerful vocal abilities and leaves her free to use her blade as she will.

Shikai Abilities

• Echolocation
  
  By concentrating a powerful bursts of high pitch screams, Hinata is capable of seeing even in complete darkness, just like a bat. Sound waves do dissipate over larger areas, anywhere up to 2 klicks, but anywhere larger than 500 meters in distance and it does have a 1 post cool-down time.
  In terms of area, Hinata can 'map' out the area up to that half of that of a football field without cool-down, however anything larger will have a cool-down of 1-2 posts, depending on scale.
  And, just like a bat, these cannot be heard by the human ear, unless she drops her voice low enough to make it so.
  
  If concentrated even further, or shot at point blank, this ability has the effect of confusing or even knocking out an opponent by effecting the pressure sensors of the inner ear with hitting a resonance frequency (7hz); even capable of causing ruptures at very close ranges, as in mouth to ear, or within 10 centimeters. The same can be said for blood vessels anywhere in this vicinity, such as in the eye, or, even, brain. While this is very lethal weapon, it also has a very high risk for Hinata, as if the opponent manages to grab her before she can let a note rip, on inhalation, it can mean a stab through the heart for her.
  Then again, if used on an inanimate object, for example a wall, or an iron bar, she can vary her tone in order to find the resonance frequency of the given material and cause the offending material to collapse. Cool-down time of 1 post.
  
  
  
• Sound Slice
  
  Hitting a specific note (C sharp, to be precise), Hinata can make her voice shoot out cutting edges in wide arcs, rather like Havok's laser attacks only with invisible sound waves.
  This is not a short-range technique, requiring some distance in order to build up the ferocity behind it. something like a vocal tidal-wave. It can be ideally used between 5 and 20 meters, anything less and it will simply not have enough power to do any substantial damage other than throw objects around, any larger and the power will dissipate and not even do that.
  A maximum of four such attacks can be shot at one time, with a cool-down time of 1 post.
  This is again a rather imprecise action, however, it can easily level walls.
  
  
• Whirlwind Shriek NA (RPC is unseated)
  
  Here Hinata lets loose a louder and longer scream that whips air around to form a ferocious whirlwind that can be used either for offense or defense.
  It is capable of leveling a building, regardless of size.
  Again, aiming can be a problem, especially once the whirlwind has been set loose.
  Cool-down time of 4 posts.
  
  

Shikai Control Level | Hinata is more or less able to control her Shikai, however aiming is ever a problem.
