As Blake's kick hit the skeleton, it was knocked backwards and over the edge of the highway, plummeting down into the lava. Steam and a loud hissing came up from where the skeleton had sunken into the magma, but the skeleton itself didn't emerge. The second skeleton met a similar fate with both Kiara and Matt's combined attack. Its shield crunched inward as it was forced off the opposite railing, falling quickly into the lava below. It too did not emerge. The energy that was blocking the groups' way across the highway faded into nothing. The way was clear. Manuel hopped off the roof of the car he was sitting on, landing lightly on the ground. "Well done!" He told them with a smile. "It took a little hint but you managed to figure it out!" He looked down the highway towards the city. "Nothing stopping us now. Let us continue." He began walking down the highway, sidestepping ruined cars and burnt-out skeletons. It wouldn't be long before the group was inside the town itself.
