Hiro had justttttttt avoided that kendo stick as he manged to pull himself up into the second cage. Back In the day when he wasnt focused and didnt have a title on the line, that would have hit him. He wouldnt have just avoided certain pain. This was different. No more pain. No more losing. No more child's play. It was time for the Cuban-Jap to be a man....to be a champion!

After the recent turn of events, Major made a point of keeping an eye on Omega and spotted him charging right as he finished setting up the ladder. The former Evolution champion turned toward his assailant and looked to put his superior reach to good use as he attempted to leave a boot print right between the masked man's eyes by way of a big boot! If he was successful in dropping the smallest man in the cage, he'd attempt to haul a** up the ladder in pursuit of Hiro.
Of course, in the end, it wouldn't really matter who managed to get up to the belt first...because after the title was unhooked, this whole battle would promptly turn into a massive game of "Kill The Guy With The Ball".

Hiro pulled himself into the second cage, and the arena blew up with cheers. The Cuban-Jab slammed down the trap door to give the next person a somewhat inconvenience when they tried to end the cage. On the wall, a steel chair was hooked. Hiro unhooked it and laid it down, before looking up at the next trap door. Chain closed. Hiro now had a problem. He picked up the chair and began to search for some bolt cutters!

With his swing at Hiro missing, and Omega getting laid out, Matt was left with few options to keep active in the competition for now. So, he aimed to push that ladder over before Major could get to the very top. Sure, it might not be -overly- effective, but it also left Hiro with no good way to get down.

Omega was trying to catch the major and instead caught a huge boot to his face that sent him down to the ground. He lied there on the mat with a glazed look in his eyes, upon looking at the replay it can be seen that the back of Omega's head hit the mat hard and even snapped back up on the ground.

BAM! The crowd let out a collective grimace as Omega got blasted by the big boot. Wasting no time on gloating, Major started up the ladder, only to have said ladder knocked over once he got halfway up. The Devil Dog's impact wasn't as nasty as it could have been, but it was still rather unpleasant.

Hiro had finally caught sight of the bolt cutters. They were in the corner of the cage! The Cuban-Jap began to climb up the cage wall, looking to get those bolt cutters and do what he did in the first cage....Climb atop the roof to the next door!

The Storm's focus wasn't on the man climbing the cage structures at this point; if he wanted to bring the belt down for The Champion, Shanahan was fine with that. Less work on his end, after all. But was it going to be easy? Not at all.
With The Devil Dog down on the mat and Omega seemingly concussed, at least, Matt was the final man standing in the ring. He took this opportunity to pick up the ladder and attempt to toss it clear out of the ring, leaving no clear way for Hiro to get down without taking a nice fall.
If The Storm successfully got the ladder out of the way, and both men were still down, Matt would take the chance to sprint towards Major and hopefully deal a nice punt to the side of his head!

Omega began moving around a little, he had managed to roll onto his stomach and began pushing himself up to his knees. He held his head once he had and decided to just watch as The Devil Dog was being charged at by The Storm.

Just as Major was beginning to regain his vertical base after getting dumped off of the ladder, he got blasted by a nasty kick to the side of the head, causing him to black out.

Making it to the top of the second cage using his same method as prior, Hiro reached the chained trap door. Using his bolt cutters, Hiro cut the chain, but caught it befor it could fall. Holding the chain, Hiro dropped the bolt cutters down to the second cage's floor, and he pushed open the trap door to the next cage, the final one. Hiro looked to pull himself into the last cage, and prepare to grab the belt!

It was clear there was still some tension between the former champion and the new one, as the impact of that punt was replayed over and over. -That- was a concussion maker.
Without missing a beat, Shanahan aimed to stomp down onto Major's face, honestly hoping to cause some structural damage!

Hiro pulled himself up into the third cage and slowly stood up, looking around as the fans began to explode for the Cuban-Jap. Hiro quickly hustled across the cage to the door, and opened it, stepping out onto the second cage's roof. Hiro than took hold of the wall of the third cage, and started to climb it, looking to get to the third cage's roof, and grab that belt!
