Loud was the river when the river could talk
and heavy was the water when the water could walk.
Mother remembers what her songs forgot
you never take without giving.

The next morning there was a light breeze in the air. The sun had risen and laid down its golden blanket of light across the wheat fields outside of the mountains in which the Temple of Dreams was built. Orange maple trees dotted the skyline where the blue sky met the yellow ground. Amelia danced through the field, not caring for where her next step would land or who might be watching. There was a beat to her movements, and as she kicked to one site and tilted her head, her resplendent, golden blonde locks seemed to reflect with light and dazzle. She swung her body round and spun in the wheat, singing along to a tune coming from the MP3 player in her hand. Contraband from Non-Magic Earth, tweaked with Grey Market magic (stolen from the Arcaz Sovereignty no doubt) to work in Magic Earth. "Sometimes I feel like i'm a hot goblin", Amelia sung, her high notes amateurly trained but by no means perfected. She continued to dance and smile and stretch her arms out to the sun around her. "Little bit perfect little bit problem" she waved her hands through the wheat, breaking into a sprint. Could be a dream or your worst nightmare, but I know who i am so I don't care." Amelia spun again, almost losing her feet, continuing her pursuit of joy. "I I know who I am so I don't care!"
The song finished and Amelia forced herself to a stop. She looked around, taking in the fresh air, resting her eyes on the mountains before her where the Temple of Dreams could be seen rising in the distance. The sun's light seemed to glisten off her skin, her blond locks could probably light a small room and her positivity practically resonated from her very soul. It was an energy that even Seri could feel from the moment when she woke up. It was subtle, as though she had just had the best sleep of her life that made her feel ready to march through the day ahead. It wouldn't be until she emerged from her room and into the main hall that she would see Amelia speaking with the Oracle. "Of course." Amalie’s voice carried a warmth that could turn even the bleakest silence golden. It was the voice of someone who had seen hardship and chosen, deliberately, to keep smiling — steady, mature, but touched with sunlight. "Nokori is okay for now. The nightmare is gone. I'll be heading east towards the Highlands next. There is word of an awful nightmare putting shadows on the moon at night."
"Your help is always appreciated, Amelia. Zakernand is once again within your debt"
"It's my home, Oracle. Nothing will every change that. Besides, Non-magic Earth was getting boring anyway."
It was at that moment that Amelia noticed Seri and gave her a warm smile. Her golden earring seemed to catch the light, causing a tiny reflection in her beautiful sky-blue eyes. "Fusheng, the dawn bows before you." The Oracle tipped his head towards her out of respect. Amelie followed confidently, bowing low towards her. "Lunsera - i'm honoured to meet you. My name is Amelie. How did you rest?"

Sometimes I feel like I'm a hot goblin
Little bit perfect, little bit problem
Could be a dream or your worst nightmare
But I know who I am, so I don't care
Oh, I know who I am, so I don't care
And when push comes to shove
It's a strange disposition that I'm learning to love
Got a range I can trust
And a strange intuition to sing half a key up
