For pokemon battling, The way you can determine when your pokemon attacks connect or not, is by Dice Roll! 4-sided die.

For Physical/Special Attacks:
Attacks Connect when...:

- You roll the die and the number lands on either 1 or 4.

Attacks Missed when...:

-You roll the die and the number lands on either 2 or 3.

For Support Attacks:
Support Attacks become SUCCESSFUL when...:

- You roll the die and the number lands on EVENS.

Support Attacks FAIL when...:

-You roll the die and the number lands on ODDS.

For those who decide not to post out your battles you can use this website. Here you can generate your own team and battle one another:

          This thread will cover the basis for catching pokémon in Pokémon Legends! Everything you need to know will be here in this guide. Lets get to it!

          XX。。。DA RULES
          xxx[ 1 ] Cannot catch pokemon that already belong to someone
          xxx[ 2 ] You are still battling pokémon in attempts to catch, try not to make your target faint.
          xxx[ 3 ] Make sure you apply all bonuses that fit to your situation to make catching easier.


          XX。。。THE CATCHING PROCESS

          XXXXXHow To Win ::
          [ 1 ] Select "Post Action" in your reply.

          [ 2 ] Select "Roll Dice" & "100-sided Die"

          [ 3 ] Type in "1" in the box where asked for "Number of Dice."

          [ 4 ] The number given in your post from the Dice Roll is your number. If the number you roll is equal to or less then your catching score the pokemon is caught in that ball, if not the pokemon breaks free from that ball



          XX。。。CATCHING SCORES
          ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

          Based on the poké ball you used, you have a certain score to reach in order to successfully catch your Pokémon. As you read earlier, we will be working off a 100-sided die. Here's how the scores work.

          [ Mechanics ] Each Pokeball has a certain score that you need to EQUATE to or LESS THAN in your Post Action

          Below is the list of the Balls you can use and the base score for you to reach;

          xxxPokeball: 5

          xxxGreat Ball: 10

          xxxUltra Ball: 25

          xxxBeast Ball: 1
          xxxxxSpecial Bonus : (+50) if used against an ultrabeast

          xxxCherish Ball: 5

          xxxDive Ball: 5
          xxxxxSpecial Bonus : (+30) if used on a pokemon currently in or under water

          xxxDream Ball: 5
          xxxxxSpecial Bonus : (+25) if used on a sleeping pokemon (bypasses catching check entirely if used in the dream world)

          xxxDusk Ball: 5
          xxxxxSpecial Bonus : (+25) if used in the absence of direct sunlight

          xxxFast Ball: 5
          xxxxxSpecial Bonus : (+30) if the pokemon's base speed stat is 100 or more

          xxxFriend Ball: 5

          xxxHeal Ball: 5

          xxxHeavy Ball: 5
          xxxxxSpecial Bonus : (+1/10th of the pokémon's weight in kg) if used on a pokemon that weighs at least 100 kg)

          xxxLevel Ball: 5
          xxxxxSpecial Bonus : (+the difference in level between your pokemon and the wild pokemon if used when your pokemon is higher level then the wild pokemon)

          xxxLove Ball: 5
          xxxxxSpecial Bonus : (+40) if used while your pokemon is of the opposite gender to the wild pokemon

          xxxLure Ball: 5
          xxxxxSpecial Bonus : (+40) if used on a pokemon you encountered by using a fishing rod

          xxxLuxury Ball: 5

          xxxMaster Ball: Automatic Catch

          xxxMoon Ball: 5
          xxxxxSpecial Bonus : (+40) if used on a pokemon who can be evolved with a moonstone

          xxxNest Ball: 5
          xxxxxSpecial Bonus : (+10) if used on a pokemon under level 30, and an additional +15 if used on a pokemon under level 20

          xxxPremier Ball: 5

          xxxQuick Ball: 5
          xxxxxSpecial Bonus : (+45) if used on the first turn of battle

          xxxRepeat Ball: 5
          xxxxxSpecial Bonus : (+30) if used on a pokemon already registered as caught on the character's pokedex

          xxxSafari Ball: 10
          xxxxxSpecial Bonus : (+25) if used within the safari zone

          xxxSport Ball: 10
          xxxxxSpecial Bonus : (+25) if used during a catching competition

          xxxTimer Ball: 5
          xxxxxSpecial Bonus : (+2xthe number of turns the battle has lasted) if used after the battle has lasted at least 10 turns


          XX。。。BATTLE BONUSES
          ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

          Like with some of the pokeballs, there are times in battle, that catching becomes much easier! When involved in a battle and desired to catch a pokémon, given these kinds of circumstances will provide an extra bonus to your catching score!

          [ Status Effects ] If the target Pokémon gets caught up in a status effect such as paralyzed, burned, frozen, etc... (+15 points)

          [ Damaged Pokémon ] Catching pokémon gets easier when you damage it first.

          xxx[ 1 ] If the pokemon is between 75% and 50% HP: (+10 points)
          xxx[ 2 ] If the pokemon is between 50% and 25% HP: (+15 points)
          xxx[ 3 ] If the pokemon is between 25% and 1% HP: (+25 points)
          xxx[ 4 ] If the pokemon is exactly 1 HP: (+35 points)
