I refuse to look back thinking days were better
Just because they're younger days
I don't know what's 'round the corner
Way I feel right now I swear we'll never change

Wyatt just chuckled as he shifted weight off his bad knee. "Yeah, we get that allot." Of course he didn't tell her that at the very beginning it had just been him and his brother and that the others just essentially appeared in their lives (all for the better, obviously). As Kinzlie introduced herself, the father was in for yet another surprise as she apparently worked with Nani and even guessed that the wife she'd heard of might've been his daughter. "Yup, that'll be Laili. It's funny how you keep running into us all." His daughter-in-law would call it a conspiracy but he was trying to stay obliviously optimistic. He made an "ah" sound when she explained that she was a muggle, which did explain a lot of things, and how she was studying for the proficiency test in order to see Hogwarts and consequently her son's games. "I'm sure you'll do fine and then you'll see for yourself whether your on was right nor not." he lightly encouraged, not wanting to take the surprise from her.

As they continued on, Kinzlie thanked him for his help as well as calling him a "super cool" grandparent. Well, he tried. When she chose the Nimbus 2030 series, Wyatt nodded and went to grab one from only to pause as she then began rambling about pricing and how much she could potentially pay today which made his heart clench. This was exactly why he made this program in the first place. "Hey now, I'm not sure you saw on the flier but we can go as low as ten percent down payment, meaning that today you'll only have to give me three of the gold today. And if that's all you can part with on a monthly basis due to other finances, we'll work your repayment schedule around it." Wyatt explained gently. No reason to take more than she's comfortable with.

When Wyatt chuckled and noted that they got the whole "big family" thing a lot, Kinzlie offered an apologetic sort of smile. She'd never met someone with quite as many people in the group. After noting her suspicion at knowing his family otherwise, Wyatt agreed and noted Nani's wife was named Laili, and indeed was another of theirs. "Oh wow. I thought Nora had a big family with her three, plus her grandson... Or, well, I suppose Nani's got three now? Just about doubled her family there." Kinzlie chuckled softly, remembering the beginning of the summer when Nani had told her of the double adoptions and their upcoming vacation. While the trip had been great for their family, Kinzlie had put in many more hours... financially great, but crushing to the small Moon family.

When topic of her exams came up, Wyatt said she'd do fine and get to see Seb play in person. "I hope so. I honestly don't understand sports I can watch, so hopefully getting to see him play will be good... for both of us, really." Even in primaries, she hadn't always had time to watch him in his sports, with her constant stream of low-income work, but now she had a real chance to watch him do something he loved so much he wanted to keep trying even with the.... ill luck he'd had so far. She wanted to do whatever she could to support him, and even though she was still very much upset about recent events, she needed to lean on the magical people she'd befriended. Maybe she could reach out to Nora for additional study time?

Kinzlie always felt dumb when discussing finances, but she tried to remind herself she'd been (badly) homeschooled, then had had to move out on her own as a fifteen year old in order to keep Seb safe. If she had to appear dumb sometimes, it would just have to happen. Wyatt explained the breakdown, saying she'd really only need to give up three that day, then make payments of about that much going forward. This guy really was a blessing, wasn't he? "Okay, well... here. What if I give you five. That would leave nine remaining payments of three each, so it's nice and round, and then it'll be fully paid off right before summer break? That way any money over the summer can go for school things and his next birthday." She figured that would be a fair deal, and she could use the extra to make sure she could keep the apartment maintained. She set out five of the coins, hoping that Wyatt would agree to the deal. It only made sense to her, anyway.

Wyatt nodded as he wandlessly summoned his notepad over towards them as Kinzlie remarked about their ever growing family. "Yeah, I don't know all the behind the scenes of it but, they're happy and the kids are happy, and that's all that really matters to me." he said in proper grandparent fashion. He had steadily and gracefully slotted himself into his oblivious but loving grandfather role and he thinks his grandchildren appreciate that to Milo's antithesis. He understood though her slight apprehension regarding understanding Quidditch but still wanting to watch and support her son; he'd made sure to go to every child's game he physically was able to as sort of backhand to his own father's failures. He didn't like thinking of the man what with the whole "don't linger on the dead" but there were certain moments he looked back on that he could say would've started his slippery slope had he not at least had Kalin and later his husband.

Wyatt blinked himself back into the present as Kinzlie offered five galleons instead of the proposed three and rationalized the repayment schedule. "That's basically it. Nine months is actually the longest repayment the bank allows me to offer without adding additional interest so as long as everything is paid in that time frame, you should be fine. I'll grab this and a few stuff from the back and we should be able to finalize everything in a second."

He offered her a grin as he finished grabbing the Nimbus from the wall and walked them back to the front counter, carefully laying the broom across the counter. He then went to the back room to grab the standard Nimbus kit that came with all their brooms and a repayment form before joining Kinzlie back at the front. "So for today's purchase, you'll be getting the Nimbus 2030 with its complimentary standard kit of care that includes a sample of wax, cloth, and small tweezers for maintenance. Wyatt opened the small box to show each item as he named them towards the mother. "And as we will be doing monthly repayments, I'll need you to fill out and sign this form here. After that, all you'll have to do is pay me and the broom is yours." He slid the form over towards her along with a pen. On it it besides the standard name and date, it asks what amount they will be putting down that day and the number of months they will be repaying with the range going from two to nine.
