(Hm, guess its time for the non-original characters to step back into the ring now, fun fun.)
Zell sat there with the words running through his head for awhile, he had stayed rather silent during it all and had no arguements, they had to fight to survive ... but they would still be endangering so many innocent lives. He looked off to the side and and punched the earth as he did, would his family be OK if they fought in the city? Would they survive it? During Galbadia's last fun in town the place was locked down tight and the soldiers really had no reason to hurt civilians ... but during a fight Galbadia could do some terrible things. The thought of civilian shields came into Zell's mind, they always would do anything to save there own skin afterall.
"Tch, if this is the only chance we got for survival ..." Zell kept as silent as possible as his fists clenched toghter and a small crack could be heard as each finger popped inside Zell's Metal Knuckle gloves. He would have to do his best to help not only the students but the civilians now, they couldent just leave them to die afterall since many of the students actually where born in Balamb. Should he stay or should he go was what it came down too, decisions to go or stay where always hard but it would always come down too one thing ...
He would go this time, not just too get away from Balamb during the fight but the help as best he could, with the SeeD number down every SeeD they had needed to be put too use, it was really time to see who was meant to be a SeeD and who wasent cut out too be one.
"Tch, damnit why is it always something?" Zell pulls himself upward and casually walks forward to the entrance of the cave where he takes up a ready position, it was once again time for a mission, a mission there lives depended on.

(*Makes a small post just to show that he still exists in this strange storyline.*)
Irvine continued rocking back and forth on the ground, waiting for the time to strike. Those Galbadian ******** (Like Football ********, only with swords. xd ) would pay.
-----------
Raven was standing outside the cave, just staring at the azure sky. Judgement hung loosely at his belt, just sort've there... He'd given all his guns except two .45 USP Tacticals, along with an extra clip for each. All Raven needed was his bare hands to take out the Galbadian bastards... Though a weapon came in handy...
Kill... "Eh? Who's there?"
He looked around, though saw just a few SeeDs that acted like he wasn't there. Raven shrugged, then went back to staring into space...
Kill them all...
He didn't even bother glancing around. Raven scowled at no one in paticular and replied to the voice in his head.
Tempting... But howabout no, Cobalt?
His GF, Cobalt, made a noise like a snort and didn't reply. Raven's scowl turned to a sadistic grin as he stared back up into space, coming up with new sword techniques in his head.

Hiro stood just outside the front of the cave, hands shoved into his pockets, a few errant strands of blonde hair sweeping down to half-cover one gray eye. He was watching the students seperate into who would go, and who would stay. He assumed the elder SeeD taking up their position in front were going to be coverguard for the escapees.
"Alright. The way this works. Group number one, you move out tonight. I'll show you the path. Group number two, you come out roughly two hours after them, and we'll continue it that way. That puts us between their rounds at the back of the Garden.. I want this camp broken down. Those of us left will be moving to a more strategic position once we get you all out of here."
He paused, and swept eyes around, making sure that the group as a whole understood. He nodded briefly, and then called towards the back of the cave.
"Chris? I have a job for you, if you feel up to it. Report to me after I return from leading the first group down."
He glanced towards Morrina briefly, before turning, sword lifted from against a rock, and strapped to his waist, as he turned to head down the mountain. It was almost time.

Turning as many other people did towards the entrance of the cave, Delan trudged onward half-heartedly, moving her hands to lightly touch the sides of her stomach. She had begun to lower her head a bit in defeat, yet the eton blue-eyed adolescent snapped it back up. What had she expected? Absolutely nothing. So, why was she still in disagreement towards their plan?
Who cares what happens next... she thought icily, blankly glaring out in front of her. Keep doing what you're told and you'll get where you've wanted to be at last... You’ll be a... You'll be a part of SeeD, soon, just like Zell said...y'know..? Sighing to herself in a disbelieving way, Delan tightened her already solemn face. She had begun to counsel herself. For the love of Garden, she was talking to herself!
Maybe I've finally hit my limit. Perhaps I've finally broken out of myself... Pfft, just stop thinking! Pushing her fingers across her scalp once more, Delan applied some pressure to her thumping skull, squeezing her eyelids shut before she could start to ponder again. She didn't even allow herself to contemplate further on the situation. Even then, a question actually based on what she was supposed to do drew her lids back.
Scanning through her peers, Delan sprinted off again. Where had that one man gone to? The one who was to be the leader of this operation? Within a few more set of rushed steps the raven-haired girl caught sight of the back of Hiro's head, and she readied herself to run towards him when she took into consideration that he'd be busy enough without her. Besides, what group she was divided into would be told later, and Delan presumed that nobody wanted to hear her petty queries. Everyone was too tired to even pretend to listen, she guessed.
Again getting frustrated with herself, Delan made herself take in and release a steady breath. She quietly counted to five, and then walked in the opposite direction of the male organizer. Without a bit of an emotional reaction Del had spotted Zell in his familiar battle stance, and a razor-sharp pin of culpability jabbed at her side. Striding over to the blonde SeeD Delan's stomach churned, and she couldn't even bring herself to put on a smile.
"You'll probably be broken into an all-SeeD group to be one of the first people to go," she stated rather than asked. With great difficulty she swallowed, a flickering picture of the formerly cut Zell jumping at her internal eye. This left her voice gloomier than before. "If that's not the case, I feel like I should come along with you... I'm feeling so goddamn horrible for not watching your back when the missiles hit, and I have this overpowering cloud of guilt thundering down on me!" Her voice quivered, and she had to turn away from Zell to continue in as stable manner as she could muster up. "So I just thought I'd let you know that... I just really hate how things turned out, with you and your injuries..."

Zell looked over at Hiro but as Delan approached he gave a the girl a small smile, it was a fragile and weak one but it was the best he could do under the circumstances. He listened as she spoke and nodded slowly as she mentioned the all SeeD group, it would most likely be that way since most of the remaining SeeDs had fought toghter and knew each other well, if they had survived they had too know how to fight together.
"It might just be that way but if we really do get put into a group toghter.." He paused and thought for abit then shook his head quickly.
"I'd rather have you with me then some of the others around here." He just kept that smile up for as long as he could but quickly shrugged off his battle stance and gave Delan a nod.
"You don't have to worry about me, injuries heal, besides we both got out alive so thats all that matters, right?"
He did not even wait a reply as he shrugged and turned too look at the Garden, they had survived but it was not over yet, if they actually did survive for a reason then what was it and why was it they where always tested over and over?
( Good to be back into the swing of things ~ )

Hiro still stood waiting for the groups to get assembled. He turned towards Delan, and Zell, his hands sliding free of his pockets, one hand lifting briefly to Delan, indicating he'd like a brief word with her.

Delan wanted more than anything to protest against Zell by saying that because they were still alive wasn't the real point. She wanted to just get the whole thing off her mind so she could focus more on what's to come, and the friendly SeeD hadn't responded like she had wished he would've. After all, though, it was Zell she was talking to. From what she knew of him, he was a brighter thinker than herself at times.
Glancing to the ground to her left, Delan soon lifted her head at an eye-catching movement, and when she went to look up she hadn't expected the gesture to come from the leader. She waited a few seconds as her thoughts grew thin, and she gave Zell a light pat on the tip of his shoulder before crossing over to Hiro.
It was obvious that he was a higher rank than she herself, and with this she only found herself standing in as upright of a position as possible. Giving him something along the lines of a tired nod, Del spoke: "Yes, sir?"

He nodded, as Delan approached, speaking in quiet tones.
"Your idea, while it has its minor flaws, is an excellent one. I'm putting you in charge of seeing it through. Have the sturdier Guardian Forces, those who can take more damage, in charge of overseeing civilian safety. The harder hitting Guardian Forces will be on the front lines, fighting the Galbadians, and pushing them back to make ready the escape. Do you think you can handle it?"
Gray eyes stared down with a quiet intent, studying the face of the girl. his head tipping just slightly, gauging her reaction. She was tired, obviously they all were. The biggest difference is just that he hid it better. He was used to hiding it, of course, but why, he could never tell a soul. The only one who knew, was Cid. Probably why the old man had put him in charge until the 'Commander' came back. He continued to study Delan briefly, eyes sweeping her face, and her shoulders, down her person, and then back up again. If this situation wasn't so serious, it might appear as if he was 'checking her out'.

Her astonishment toward Hiro's words caught her so off-guard that she didn't even receive notice of his wandering steel eyes on her youthful cadaver. For a moment she said nothing, and only gawked at him with bulging eyes. Not so long ago he had just stomped over her idea with his own realism, and now we was telling her to blow it back up like some balloon? Shaking her puzzlement off swiftly, Delan deeply shook her head and swiped her hands in a 'no way' sort of manner.
"Beg your pardon, but why are you anointing me, a student--not even a SeeD!--into working out something you disagreed on? To add further to that, I don't even possess a Guardian Force of my own! How the hell am I supposed to organize this without a trusting GF to watch my back while I order others around!?" She really hadn't meant for her words to come out so rushed and angry, but this had been the only thing she never thought would have ensued. Losing the ability to protest on the order, she pushed her palms and fingertips over her face until they slid off from her jaw, crunching them down on her hips as she leaned to one side. She was getting too confused to keep her own composure sterilized.

He raised one hand at the protest, leveling his eyes upon hers, watching the loss of composure.
"You misunderstood. I didn't disagree with your plan. I pointed out its flaws. We do need some guardian forces defending our fighters. You proposed we steel all of them for civilian defense. While that is in theory a good plan, it has noticable flaws. So I propose that we split our forces. Those able to take more damage will take the back line, those who can deliever more damage, will take the front line. Does that make sense?"
His arms folded down behind his back, and for once, looked all of his twenty some odd years of age. His eyes flickered a brief moment, and there was a soft femenine laugh, before a slender girl holding an oddly curved sword, appeared behind him.
"This is Angela. For the duration, she will be under your command. I still have full benefit from her abilities, and she is not junctioned to you, obviously, but this way, you have someone to defend you, while you order around the others. The other SeeD will be needed to fight the Galbadian forces. Consider this an in-run training mission. This was your plan, and I trust you to execute it with efficency."
And he turned, moving towards the edge of the cliff, leaving the girlish looking Guardian Force in your care, as he made his way towards the first group, and then down the side of the mountain, leading them down the most covered route possible.

Things couldn't have surprised her more. Not only had the smooth talker gotten his way over her said and asked problem, but he had left a GF in her care - or rather the other way around. Delan was dumbly stumped at the decision still, and actually had to hide the majority of her face with a gloved hand. Her cup was on the verge of being a whole lot more than half full. This isn't probable... Why am I being put in charge of something..? I know I blurted out the idea, but surely there's someone more efficient... I... Could this just be a..? It's gotta be, but it...it's not...
Refusing to stress over it any further, Delan merely took several deep inhalations, and finally looked to this majestic Guardian at her side. The young woman hadn't seen many GFs in her life, but she could brave thinking that she was a gorgeous being. The rapier she held was beyond exquisite in its own unique style, looking to be capable of dealing an excruciating blow. There really was no backing out of this now.
"Angela..." It was a mere test to hear the commonplace name's ring, yet it definitely suited the ladylike creature. Curling her fingers as they flinched occasionally, Delan chanced a look back to Zell, brows stapled up to emphasize her scared, lost feeling. There was really only one thing she could do, and that was to follow her orders. She had to stay strong through this because it had been her own thoughts that had formed the words; she had to play her part.
The far away pearly whites of her sparring buddy drew her own lips up slightly, and she fully pushed around and cupped her hands over her mouth. "I hope you have a good GF Zell! Turns out we're actually gonna go with my suggestion!" Taking a step back around to where she faced the direction Hiro had marched off in, Delan nodded to the only one who had their attention to her: Angela. Her smile shone through more. "We're going to nail this, and I'll need your help to cover me so I can keep track of everyone else. We'll wait until-" Abruptly she paused, and found that she hadn't a clue what their main leader's name was. Not so much as forcing out a chuckle than to just make the noise, the blue and green-eyed girl spoke again. "Well, we'll wait until he comes back from the first guided walk, and then most likely we'll head out. Is that a good plan?" She was unsure of asking a Guardian Force its opinion, but she felt liek she needed more assurance than Zell's confidence and Hiro's trust in her combined to complete this mission.

The young looking female nodded, and smiled in a way that was almost sadistic. It was as if she was looking forward to the bloodshed to come. Considering this was coming from a Guardian Force, it was damn near frightening.
'It sounds like a good plan to me.'
Her smile was a little more calm then, and she appeared a groomed lady She was, strangely, shorter then you, unlike Shiva, who typically towered above whomever had summoned her. For a humanoid, she was actually quite a small being.
Hiro himself was leading the first group down the mountainside, through the underbrush with careful steps. Great care had to be taken not to be caught, or worse, considering what the Galbadian's could do to such a small force. The movements of the first group were steady, and they slowly converged on the base of the mountain, nearest Balamb Town. Once he had them secured, he started the trek back up the mountain, enjoying for once, the peace of not having the insane chatter of the usual companion in his head.
This was going to be a wild ride, and he knew it.

Jeezus, what a haul.
*The sheer volume of stuff spread out in front of Fitz even impressed him. Knives, handguns, ammo, gil, explosives (Whee!), keepsakes, a half dozen roll of bandages, painkillers, over-the-counter pills, a few carefully preserved hotdogs, other assorted foor, some refining materials, Triple Triad cards, and even a potted plant sitting peacefully next to what looks like a P90 someone had been toying with. All in all, it was a good haul, an excellent haul. Okay, maybe not an excellent haul, most of it had been taken from the rooms and stores inside the Garden as they had evacuated. In the escape Fitz, never one to pass up an opportunity, had made quick runs through the various rooms around Garden and had "picked up" some "supplies." Unfortunately of course, there was no one around to share his enthusiasm. Doubtlessly they wouldn't appreciate the sight of him with a large assortment of stolen goods from their home. Would it matter that if he hadn't taken it the Galbanians would have? Doubtful. Perched on a secluded ledge away from the crowd with the contents of his coat and a large pack he had procured, Fitz examined his haul. Currently he is going through the largest stack, random clips full of special ammunition purloined from the Armory.*
Score! Fast Ammo belts. I'm putting you guys to use right away.
*Fitz grinned happily to himself as he loaded up one of the P90s clips with Fast Ammo. While most of his friends (Allowed to use heavy weapons, those lucky...) scoffed at Fast Ammo for its low punch when already loaded into a fast firing gun, Fitz had always loved the feeling of expending a full clip in the matter of a second or two. The P90 had been a lucky find in what was a quick grab job, once he had cracked the lock on the Armory it had just been sitting on a counter. Doubtless the person who had been working on it had forgotten the customized gun in their haste to depart. That brought Fitz around to how easy it had been to get into the Armory. He'd done it before, several times in fact. The 9mm hanging in his shoulder holster had spare clips holding Demolition and Fire Ammo from a previous run. Fitz scowls abruptly, remembering the man who had almost caught him exiting the room on their way out. Apparently he wasn't the only one who had business around Garden as they escaped. Only a quick dash over the railings had kept him from being seen. Good thing the man hadn't been looking for the P90 that had been strapped across Fitz's back under the pack or else he might have taken a closer look around. With a satisfying click Fitz inserts the last round into the P90 clip and sets it aside. Now for the rest of it...*
