There will be times in everyone's lives when they feel as though they have no where to go, and no one to turn to for support. Everyone has their own story to share, and we have all experienced pain and sorrow at one point or another.
However, no one should ever think that they are alone in their pain.
It doesn't matter if you've been stabbed in the back by a friend, had a bad break-up, experienced the death of a family member or friend, failed a really important test, lost your job, become terribly sick, or any of the other countless things that could have led you here.
Even if you think it's not that a big deal, if it hurts, then it matters.
A community shares many things, and it's important for all of us to acknowledge that this idea includes sharing our burdens, too.
We might not be able to solve your problems, but we are here to listen and remind you know that you are not alone.
Things will always get better, in its own unique way, and we will be here for you.
If you need to rant, to scream, to sob, to whisper, to speak... we will be that virtual shoulder, that virtual ear, that virtual friend, listening and responding and staying close as we listen to what you have to say.
It's okay to be negative here. It's okay to cry, to break down, to complain, to feel bad... this is the place for it, and no one here will judge you for what you have done, or what you are going through.
Which brings me to the actual rules for this thread, which are straightforward, and easy enough to understand.
1. Be considerate. Report to one of the admins IMMEDIATELY if you feel as though someone is breaking this rule.
2. You CANNOT specifically mention other Gaians, or the full names of people IRL (in real life). First names are acceptable, however.
3. Swearing is acceptable, but try to be courteous if people ask you to tone it down, or the OP (original poster) requests that their thread be 'swearing free.'
