Well, this certainly hadn't been planned.

Amrita sat in her room, curled up with her knees tightly pressed against her chest. In front of her were two small bowls, which bore a clear resemblance to both her and Paradox. There was not even a hint of regret over her actions - she and Para loved each other, and had finally taken the last step in expressing that love. The dragon's cheeks still grew pink as she recalled the events of that stormy night..
At least there were no more secrets between them. Para knew now what she was.. and accepted her anyway. If anything, it was what finally made the two of them take that leap of faith and come clean about their emotions.

Still.. neither of them had been prepared for this.

Bowls.
Children.
They were now mothers, the two of them. To two half-dragons, in a world that had hopefully forgotten their existence. The thought was both exhilarating and terrifying.

She wasn't ready to be a mother.. She was hardly an adult herself! But one must adapt to their circumstances, that was vital for one's survival. They were now responsible for the little ones, and she just needed a chance to discuss this with Para.. to decide how they should tackle this new challenge that had been thrown at them. Perhaps they should begin to live together? That certainly seemed like a rational choice to make. It would be weird to have only one of them take care of the children, or to each look after one. No, she'd have to ask Para to either move in with her, or pack up her things and relocate to the soldier's house.

Hesitantly, she reached out to stroke the smooth outside of the bowls, which elicited a small chime from each of them. She had never dealt with bowls before, so she wasn't sure how much awareness they had. Had she been capable of speaking to them, she probably would have explained to the two that she was their mother and that she didn't really know what she was supposed to do, but that she would try her best so that they would both have a loving home and a safe childhood.

If only she still had parents to turn to for advice.. but they were long, long gone. As were Para's..
