What's everyone's thoughts on graffiti?

A lot of people dislike it because of it's history with crime but I think it's a true art form. The attention to bold lines and creating three dimensional shapes is amazing. Spray paint can be a difficult medium but if it's just a squiggle on brick, it's the same if I painted just a line on canvas. There's effective graffiti art and just tagging crap for the fun of it or at least that's how I feel about it.

Its beautiful! Its an art of expression and rebelliousness. biggrin and the art styles are so different from eachother that its breathtaking when I see it! since im from a smaller town I don't see it a lot but when I do I cant help but stare at it because of the ability and complete expertise in every stroke and wave of a paint can! :O im truly amazed that people have such a beautiful talent!
biggrin HOW THE HECK?!?!?! doesnt make sence to me but its pretty! O_O Speechless. The mass amounts of creativity used is just stunning.

Yeah I agree I personally like it because just about everyone of my friends do it. I was never any good at it so I don't do it anymore but I still know who everyone is and some of the dudes you would never think are actually as good as they are.

Graffiti and street art are some of my favorite things. The amount of control some people have with a spray can is amazing.
