Katrina was born on the 6 of March in upstate New York with her mother. Her mother, Annalisa was just a college graduate when she met the love of her life Daniel. He was the perfect complement to her personality, actually every part of her. After a few months of them being together, Annalisa became pregnant with Katrina. The two of them stayed together until their baby girl was born. But two months after Katrina was born, Daniel left Annalisa and she was crying her eyes out when he left. She knew he was going to leave but she didn't expect him to leave that quickly after their daughter was born. After a few years of Katrina being born, the young girl looked up to her mother and tried to be exactly like her. But the one thing her mother wasn't used to but what Katrina loved was horses. She loved them since she was a little girl and her mother got her a horse for her birthday. The girl loved her mother to death for that present.
When she was just at the age of 6 years old, she was sent a gift from her father that was a charm bracelet, with a single charm on it. The gift also had a letter telling her to wear the bracelet at all time and then when need be pull the charm off. Katrina showed her mother that gift and Annalisa couldn't help but cry a bit and smile knowing full well that it was from Daniel.
When Katrina turned 10 years old, the girl was attacked by a monster and she pulled off her charm and a sword showed up in her hands. As she fought against the monster and satyr showed up and started to fight with her against the monster. When Katrina killed the monster, the satyr told the young girl that she was a demigod and that she need to go to Camp Half-Blood in order to protect her mother from danger.
