Within Aokigahara lie the barracks of the Squadron Members. The room itself has a very dim light. Usually the members of Squadron Two have trained themselves to fall asleep deeply to suppress the memories they have just witnessed or morbid memories they have gathered. So in order for safety, the Captain of Squad Two constructed a unique style for the Barracks.
The Barracks is located in a single room. However, to compensate for all of the possible members that might need sleep, this room is constructed to be the biggest room within the whole base. It is so big that their is enough bedding to hold everyone within the base if needed. The room is very dimly lit by electrical florescent lighting.
In the middle of the room, is a giant tree like structure. Some people refer to this tree as "Yggdrasil". This tree has four functions. It acts as the main light source for the entire room. Then it is also used as the main security system for the barracks. For every five minutes, the tree will scan all spiritual energy within the room. Since al Spiritual Energy is cataloged, if there is a person who is not within the catalog or has been "black listed", the tree will sense it and eliminate it. The tree also serves as a communication device between all of the base. Meaning Squad Two Members, Officers, Vice-Captain, or even the Captain can send a message and it will be announced through the tree and allotted for everyone to hear. Then finally the last function of the tree is a self destruction sequence. The tree has so much rashi and explosive stored at the base, if activated it will blow up and destroy the entire base. However, it can not destroy the actual barrack "bunks". The last function can only be activate by the Captain of Squad Two.
Lastly, inside of the barracks is the actual "Bunks". These are giant Seki-Seki stoned bunks that are shaped in a weird format. Some even refer to these as "Stone Coffins". These giant stone coffins are unlocked on the side with a thumb print, retinal scan, and vocal identifier. Once unlocked on the side, the top of the stone "bunk" will flip open. Thus giving it the "Coffin"" look. Inside one will find that each bunk is big enough to hold up to two people. This bunk is equipped with a bed, padding for the bed, mini fridge {snacks and drinks included}, night light, as well as some books. Since each Bunk is completely made out of Seki-Seki stone, it is nearly impossible to brake into one of these "Coffins". Meaning not only do the "Bunks" serve as a place to sleep but they also serve as the ultimate hiding place and or defense within Aokigahara. It is said that if Yggdrasil was to self destruct and destroy the entire base, these bunks are the only thing that could withstand the explosion. Each bunk also has a protective "demon" carved on top of it. This is done just for effect.
