Psyche is pretty, beautiful even, and there's no denying it. It makes her parents incredibly proud that their daughter is considered so highly. She isn't vain, but she does take care to pay attention to her appearance, manners, and dress. She is old enough to be married, so she is, of course, the object of quite a few suitor's attention. She is perfectly pale (unlike her more bronze, olive skinned brother) and for that she is lucky. It makes her conventionally desirable in their circles. Of course she maintains her pale complexion by refraining from rigorous outdoor activity, only taking walks in the most stately of manners, always with a parasol to shield her from the sun.
While she personally prefers to wear dark colors, she often does not have the chance. This is especially true when she is entertaining guests and out in public. She wears the traditional, pale colors of the unwed and unengaged, essentially advertising her availability to all who see her. However, when she is privately engaged in tasks or when she is merely in the presence of family and close friends, she chooses to eschew convention and wears as many dark colors as she wants, often settling on rich jewel tones such as red and teal.

As a rule, Psyche doesn't get close to others. Very few people get to really know her because she gets to know others so easily. She is close only to Prudence, Daedalus, Ernest, and Brent. Others, she is too suspicious of or else she finds herself unable to handle anymore of their pain or troubles. It is too easy for her to find herself feeling the sorrow of others that she limits her truly meaningful and deep connections to a very limited number of friends. This is done, perhaps, subconsciously though, as she still reaches out and wants to keep the company of others. She finds joy in their joy, and finds herself drained and unhappy when she deprives herself of the company of others too long.
She is neither a perfectionist nor very willful. She lets others dictate her will and actions when she trusts them and even if she doesn't necessarily trust them. She is too fluid and intuitive for anything else. Decisions are made on the fly and her words tumble out of her mouth with no thought to perfection, only feeling. That is not to say that she cannot keep secrets though. No, she is very good at keeping secrets, maybe even too good. She guards the little things that people tell her in confidence with all of her heart, even for those who do not deserve her confidence. Often she finds these secrets by asking, for she can't resist knowing when her hedgecraft tells her that there is something to find. She has gotten quite good at discovering secrets after so many years of lending a helpful year that her gentle probing does not seem the least bit invasive unless you really know her.
While many consider her open and free with her feelings, she is actually simply projecting a part of herself that is breezy and bright. While naturally warm and compassionate, especially to those in pain, she does not offer those who share their emotions with her an equal return of emotion and honesty. Rather, she offers words and opinions that may not necessarily be her own, but are always the ones that will make those who listen feel better. She truly does want others to be happy and always welcomes those who wish to talk and those who do not. In fact, she, amongst her group of friends, is the most sociable and is aligned, by personality, most with the ideal of their time. While she isn't as gregarious as some and not nearly so outgoing as to draw all the attention to herself, she is nonetheless, enjoyable to be around. To her parent's delight, she is more than capable of throwing a ball or a luncheon, entertaining guests, and taking care of children. That she has not formed any real relationships with anyone other than her brother and Prudence, that they know of, does not bother them. They expect with her personality and skill that the right suitor will come along and steal her heart when the time is right.

HER LIFE
PSYCHE lives a life of luxury and wealth. She isn't particularly enamored by wealth, but she also isn't she any more aware of those who live outside of her circle than the average wealthy gentle born woman. Her wealth and all the privileges that come with it are simple facts of her life. She is isolated in her bubble and she doesn't see anything particularly wrong with that though she certainly enjoys how she and her friends have managed to break from the mold to actually make an income by their own hand by writing novels. Her understanding of poverty and work is shallow, if not she would not be so quick to find their work thrilling and fun.

PERSONALITY
DRAUGR is a sweet, soft thing like the blush around his eyes and on his paws despite his otherwise ominous appearances. He is always keen on being petted and stroked by Psyche's friends. He doesn't invite strangers to keep him company though, and even if he did, not many would dare come for his palely glowing eyes and bloody markings speak more of death than healing despite his harmless form. Those who see him associate him with the characteristics of the magic-touched grimalkins rather than the healing powers of rabbits. His eerie appearances has the unfortunate side effect of warding people away when Psyche takes him out with her, for she is a creature of company, no matter that the company she keeps and the relationships she created tended to be quite shallow. Still, with him at her side, she is beginning more to appreciate that she does not need the company and how worthless many of her connections have been made by her unusual skill in deciphering their character, motivation, and reactions.
HEDGECRAFT
INTUITIVE is the best way to describe Psyche. She is, between one breath and the next, quite capable of predicting a person's next words to great deal of accuracy. Her ability is not flawless and never will be, but her skill increases with the amount she knows a person. Her initial gleanings about the character of a person are generally accurate, but shallow. As her understanding of that person grows, her ability to guess how they will react to any given situation because more accurate and more eerie. Her skill is something that one could write off as something built upon great study of character, motivation, and human emotion, but her understanding is much more innate than that. She has never had to practice this skill a day in her life, rather it simply comes to her. Eerier still is her ability to mimic and adopt another person's voice and character. She is like a rook in that sense, except her range of mimicry is nearly limitless when she has gotten a sufficient sense of another person's personality.
One of the great boons of her skill is that her understandings of the human soul come with the ability to come up with ways to soothe it. She feels rather than formulates solutions to problems regarding relationships and feelings which makes her a rather popular confidant to other ladies her age and station. This intuitive grasp of another person's joys, sorrows, and incentives, however, make her a poor friend for she finds it difficult to separate motivation and reaction from true goodwill. It always seems as if people have ulterior motives, even those beyond the obvious of getting to her family's money. That is why her relationship with Prudence is easy; Pru is upfront about value and motivation, about perfection. People are all too clear to Psyche and while she has no particular skill for truth-seeing, for deciphering lies, her ability to know character means that often she can detect inconsistencies in the shape and sound of words when it comes to statements made about one's emotions or opinions. Truthfulness is therefore the key to interacting with Psyche for she knows the minute you open your mouth whether your soul would tip the feather's balance.
With Draugr at her side, her abilities have only gained strength, though it is perhaps sinister in that knowing how to heal someone emotionally also entails knowing how to destroy them emotionally. Draugr has heightened her ability to heal and do good as well as her capacity to inflict great harm and do evil to those who trust her with their emotions.
