Kyrenx Already ahead of you sir.Ah, your draw is quicker than mine it seems.. pirate How long has that been there out of curiosity? I've only just become aware of it.Edit: Nevermind, I saw the quote box's date. I was curious because all these tools were available in Gen 5.. I guess the truly wicked have returned for another Generation of Pokemon. This kind of creativity, albeit quite evil in this instance, is a good sign for battles this gen. biggrin

Flame_Haze Slowbro welcomes you to the gates of Pokemon Hell. Not just Slowbro.. also Slowpoke, Slowking, Blissey, Smeargle, Ralts, Kirlia, Gardevoir and Gallade. They're essentially the four evolution lines of the apocalypse.

I know, what's to gain from it? At least use the strategy to Toxic/Burn stall and make some type of progress. You're going out of your way to keep them alive. Though, this strategy would be fun to PP Stall and let them die to Struggle. If you don't run Heal Pulse it's not technically an endless set.. xD

This reminds me of the kinds of things I used to pull in MTG.

Hunter of the dusk This reminds me of the kinds of things I used to pull in MTG. I've never played MTG, but I played Yugioh. One of my friends would run a funny Life Point gain deck where he just increased his Life Points and stalled. That was pretty neat because he ran so many Cards his opponent would run out of deck and lose. He even side-boarded some Needle Worms (Mill 5 cards off the top of your opponent's deck). He said he had a similar strategy in MTG as well though.

Archolite I've never played MTG, but I played Yugioh. YOU'RE OFFICIALLY DEAD TO ME!!!
Just kidding! In all seriousness though, I'm more of Magic the Gathering player myself. And Control/Stall is a fun strategy when it isn't being successfully used against you. I used a rather potent Aggro Mill deck back when Innistrad & Return to Ravnica were both still Type 2 / Standard.

Haha, I've shut down a whole multiplayer game with blink/detain a few times. Nephalia Smuggler + Lavinia of the Tenth ftw! pirate

I would run a life gain/lock down strategy, and when they were about to mill I would make them reshuffle their graveyard into their library.
OR, I would play in a multiplayer game (6+ people) and force everyone to kill me or deck. I would start out making every draw 2 or more cards per turn, so they liked having me around... then I would play Hive Mind (each player copies all instants/sorceries anyone plays), then play a card that makes everyone draw 10+ cards... which is then copied by each of the other 5 players. Fun times smile
