Los and Krieg watched the events unfold before them, the adult with narrowed eyes, the pup with a curious expression. When the excitement ended with the raven being brought away, Los looked down at his daughter and the others of his brood that had stumbled forward with him and shook his head.
"Time to go, little ones," he said as he moved to trot away. There were lions here that were upset, and the last thing he wanted was for his pups to take the brunt of their frustration. Then he'd have to kill whichever lion did it, and while he didn't mind doing so, he doubted he'd be welcome to stay after that. Krieg trotted after her father, white tail flicking in the warm air. Well, that had been confusing. Oh well...she was sure her father would explain it all when she was older.
