When you play Pokemon, do not settle for the worse ability. Don't settle for a bad nature, don't settle for weaker items like Mind Plate and Twistedspoon. Go out of your way and trade for extra Leftovers. Go to the Battle thing and earn Assault Vest, Choice Items, Life Orb, etc. Go big or go home I always say.

Alakazam, use Sub + 3 attacks. Protect is vastly inferior. If you sub on the switch you get a free attack. If they don't switch you scout out what they were planning to do to you by staying in. Death Fodder, etc.

Jynx, Lovely Kiss has 75% accuracy to sleep a Pokemon. One of the better sleep-inducing moves. Frost Breath at first glance seems really good, except Critical hits only do an additional 33% damage as of Gen 6. 80 BP with 90 accuracy? Opt for Ice Beam. You won't need to go through many Calm Mind users with Jynx anyway. Also, Oblivious is neat since you can't get Taunted, but I still prefer Dry Skin. Good to switch in on a Water move for some HP restoration. A lot of people overlook this as well. Nasty Plot is always an option too.
Ice Beam/Psychic/Lovely Kiss/Nasty Plot wouldn't be too bad.

Exeggutor is neat with Harvest. 50% chance to recover Berry at the end of EVERY turn. Sitrus Berry spam galore. Use Sub + 3 attacks or 2 and Calm Mind with Sitrus Berry for some ownage.

Swoobat, use Simple (Hidden Ability). Doubles stat boosts. +2/+2 from Calm Mind. And don't use Rash, I'd choose Modest because 77 Base Sp. Atk is underwhelming and his speed is fine. Modest or Timid for sure. Also, given you're running Mono-Psychic, not everything has to run Psychic STAB. I'd opt for Charge Beam/Shadow Ball/Energy Ball with Air Slash. Roost is optional, I'd advise against it since you're wide open on the physical side anyway. It will be hard setting up too..

Slowbro, don't run that set. Run the Regenerator set with Slack Off/Scald/Flamethrower/Toxic. Flamethrower is optional, but don't use Psychic as mentioned above. Ice Beam or Flamethrower. This is an important Pokemon to get right on Mono-Psychic. He is the prime physical wall.

I honestly don't think these Pokemon will make the cut: Swoobat, Delphox, Gothitelle, Gardevoir. Swoobat's Base Stats are too underwhelming, Delphox's list of weaknesses seals its fate 10 times out of 10, Gothitelle is outclassed at any role. I've tried Gardevoir, its resistances fall flat. It can't switch in on anything, it's weak physically and slow, and just slows your momentum down. Plus it's walled easily unless you depend on Focus Blast's shaky 70% accuracy.

Jynx could do some work player properly, same with Malamar. They're not "good", but they can work.

Slowbro, Alakzam, Jirachi, Metagross, Medicham, Starmie, Azelf, Celebi, Victini, Reuniclus, Exeggutor are what you should be looking at first and foremost.

I also want to point out that Wobbuffet and Mew are NOT Uber. Abuse this!!

EDIT: Remember, NOT EVERYTHING needs Psychic STAB. Azelf should always run it because he has no other STAB and his options in attacking moves are somewhat limited. A Ground-type team might use EQ on 5 Pokes and Earth Power on another because Ground has great coverage. Psychic paired with any 1 other type does not have great coverage.

Good type coverage in 2 moves:
Water & Flying/Normal. Ice & Electric. Ground/Fighting & Rock. Ghost/Dark & Fighting.

There are Pokemon that resist both, but for the most part these are the big type coverage pairings.

For the most part I second this. However on the slowbro I don't think calm mind is that bad of an idea. In my past water team I ran

Calm Mind
Slack Off
T-Wave
Surf/Psychic/Ice Beam/Flamethrower/etc

I'll admit, this may not be typical or even the safest choice. Although you only have one move this slowbro has generally done wonders for me personally. Obviously be weary of what your opponent has but with enough calm minds you can deliver heavy blows to even those that resist you. Regenerator is a must for him though. It can be so useful. T-Wave can also be replaced for toxic apparently.

Also, adding to ideas for your team. Magic Bounce Espeon might serve you well

I just wanna point out that running 1 attacking move and T-Wave results in an insta-loss if it's your last Pokemon is some scenarios. Say you run Surf and your opponent has Toxicroak/Gastrodon left. You lose. Or something that resists your STAB might stall you out even at +6. It's risky because you don't want Slowbro to be your last pokemon but want it to stick around for the match. Paralysis is also terrible while Slowbro is still out. They'll still probably outspeed his slow self. Team support it's great, but then you are using him as support with Regenerator... Boosting stats it's counterproductive..

If you DO decide to use this set, I would STRONGLY encourage Toxic instead of T-Wave. Given you have 1 attacking move it's good to have that secondary choice to wear them down with Poison. Flamethrower/Toxic has good coverage btw. The only Flash Fire Pokes that are immune to Toxic is Heatran, who WILL ruin your day. (Your opponent won't know this, that's in your favor). Steel types are weak to Fire, so that checks out too.

I still think running a Support/Stat Boosting Tank set is counterproductive, but it's Spirit Knight's decision at the end of the day.

@Flame_Haze, I don't actually remember that one on your team. I remember walling your Starmie in round 1 for the win and then some hax took down my special wall Togekiss the second time I tried that matchup. xD

Still fond of the underscore I see.

Well the other half of it is that I never had only one true team. I was always weary of the monotype I was against and planned teams for different battle. In slowbros case, if I went against an ice team and I decided to use him id probably run flamethrower on him. Often times I would switch between Psychic and surf with him though.

Youre right about the possibility of being unable to make any moves but honestly my slowbro never got into that position. I have been in a similar situation with another pokemon in the middle of a battle but surprisingly it's never been my last pokemon. I think the other half of it is that most people don't expect that. It's definitely not often that I do that though.

Absolutely his choice though, your pokemon have to fit your personal playing style anyways right?

I believe I side closer with Archolite on this one except I prefer Ice Beam > Flamethrower and Fire Blast > Flamethrower for Slowbro in general. Overall package, I'd personally steer more into line with a Bold Nature, Regenerator @ Leftovers with a simple spread of about 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Sp.Def (could probably play/tweak with the Sp. Def EVs taking away from HP but in general 252/252/4 is simple enough).

Moveset:
~ Scald
~ Ice Beam
~ Slack Off
~ Toxic / Thunder Wave / Fire Blast

With Toxic being the superior choice of the flex spot but it's really up to your team's overall general needs which isn't that easily seen here as you have more than 6 Pokes listed and no notification of who you consider the switch-ins/outs and why. Just my two cents for whatever it's worth.

Oh and for the record, Metagross can be obtained as a Metang prebank via friend safari (same for Bronzong). With that being said, I can catch you a Metang and/or a Bronzong if you want.
