In the seaside City of Revele, life is hustling and bustling with the city folk and the seafarers who come and go each and every day. Most people who live here are all apart of some sort of seafarers families. The most notorious of these families is the Darkling family. This family has several close siblings and cousins in the city. Most of whom try to deny their relation to the family altogether, there are few however that do not mind being related. It makes life somewhat easier on the ones who admit it, any trouble in their homes or places of business, the Darklings will come to their aid without any questions asked.
Like most seafarers, or pirates as they are sometimes referred as, most of the Darkling family lives at sea but, the eldest brother, Dante and the youngest sister Eve, stay ashore to help out their closet families in need. Revele is known for a lively night crime life, and Captain Jim Darkling always makes sure he can keep an eye on his own.
On the outskirts of Revele towards the northeast of the city wall is a small wasteland town called, Devole. A utterly disgusting place to live. Mercenaries, thieves, bounty hunters, and assassins all take up residence only several miles away from the city walls. Many do not dare to enter this town, most take longer routes around them if at all possible.
To the West of the city lies, Molkav. A tree top village of Elves. The Elves keep to themselves mostly. There are a few who have wandered into the city and created a life inside the walls. Some have even joined the ranks on the ships, to learn skills they would trade their knowledge of the lands.
To the East lies the fairgrounds. Always open and always bright and loud. Barron and his group of misfits run the fairgrounds. Each has their own special talents and gifts to make the fair special and memorable. The fair is always free. "It's about giving not receiving." Barron always says.
And of course to the south of the city within the walls is Port Revele. The water highway to the world. Ships come and go from all around the globe to trade and exchange goods and services. Revele is known for it's kind people and it's friendly atmosphere.
