Set off from the trees with a small lake, this fortress stands 100 feet tall. It's surrounded by waters of the Clearwing Lake and Gomu Gomu glowing plant pods that make the creeking wooden path to the tree glow. The small lake has nothing but Koi, algue, lotus flowers, goldfish, frogs, and other harmless creatures that make a symbiotic relationship with the surroundings. The Fortress has no entrance, per say.
Koro's domain is surrounded by rustic wooden huts that contain nothing but a protection from rain and a very comfortable bed made from Krila leaves, the softest leaves in all of Kranila in every hut. The top has a large "meeting" place of sorts with wild curvatures and more Gomu Gomu glowing pods who light it up. The bottom of the tree is surrounded by wooden platforms and stairs towards the huts and to walk around the giant tree.
In it's very essence, the tree is a self-defense mechanism that only opens when Korok speaks to it. It's a beacon of energy for the Shadow of the Forest that uses his own energy to attack unwelcome intruders or anyone who threatens the circle of life around it. If you're a friend, it will treat you just as Korok would treat you himself. Little ents guard around the tree and if you stare closely, you can see the little leaves moving around like cameras.
The inside of this fortress when opened, is just another small ecosystem of trees all around the inside. A full symbiotic relationship of Gumi Gumi pods, apple trees, butterflies, some very colorful birds, many other little animals, tiny ents, and more. The only "thing" in there is a small hammock that is Korok's bed. It's made of a large leaf tied up with fibers between two trees. Everything outside and within the Fortress is under Korok's control only. Entrance within the tree is forbidden unless they blow a hole in, or Korok invites them.

Thundering steps clouded the tranquility of the forest when Korok found himself surrounded by a small lake just adrift the course of the Clearwing Lake. He found it. He found what would be his next home. This majestic tree seemed to call upon him and invite him in. He couldn't go in as it was with all the water surrounding it.
The God of Nature worked his way around the lake. Silently bending down his knees, hands were lain down on the floor as he used his Master of Nature magic to call upon the forest to aid him and make this tree his home. Roots started to form up into what seemed like planks. The floor before him started to make an alleyway above the small lake and towards the tree. The magic lit up the dark surroundings around the lake with glowing Gumi Gumi pods that reflected with the water for a very nostalic sight.
Once the entrance was made, it was time for the tree to take life, and form an ecosystem around itself. The Shadow of the Forest used vast amounts of energy inserted into the tree to make it shift and turn into what seemed like rustic huts with Krila leaves in a bundle enough to be very comfortable beds. Those would be to provide shelter and a temporary home for any guest or welcomed traveler. The inside of the tree shifted with Korok's magic and he made sure there was no exterior entrance. The tree would open it's hard wood only to Korok's Entish commands.
Once everything was finished, The Shadow only made two ropes out of fibers of some leaves, a large and hard leaf tied in between two trees and now he had a hammock all for himself within the small ecosystem created within the tree. He gently took off his armor, and placed his body on the hammock... listening to the sounds of falling water, the enchanting croaks of coquis, and gently rustling leaves.

The perfect image of Superman in his fortress of solitude finally got up from his hammock to extend his right arm and be lifted up between the wood to the highest part of the tree and just look out at all his people. Every day of his existence, he was reminded of how lonely he was and how no one dared to go near him because of fear. Even with the Nightmare, Kora would never understand the pain, suffering, and loneliness he had lived.
The lone, small figure at the very top meeting place of the tree inclined himself towards a branch and just stood there breathing in the fresh air, watching the frogs jump into the water, and the fish swim carelessly without fear of being eaten. His eyes drifted away into emptiness and his hair blew with a lone gust.
Suddenly he jumped out of the very top of his fortress and started walking the marshes elsewhere to where his trees whispered of a moment about to occur.

Strong steps hit against the wooden boards over the small lake. Looking down, Korok sat on it only to kick his feet on the water and whispering towards the trees. A branch extended to him with an apple. A strong grip took control of it and directed itself towards Korok's small lips. While he munched down on the apple, he kept himself on the boards around his fortress and sitting to look down at his lake.

The trees of Kranila started to shake in an eerie manner. The branches moved in a music-like manner to dance in Korok's echo. The Shadow moved his lips steadily while his voice bathed the forest of its grace in New Entish:

A soft gust blew thereafter, then all lay in a moment of solitude. The breath before the deep plunge. He started to realize that Alex was part of the prophecy. A vision of an androgynous angel floated through his head defeating Death with much ease. That of course meant she would defeat this Reaper with no complication whatsoever. The angel wore a face this time and a gender. The Shadow stared at the water while he looked at the visions he bore. His knees inched towards his chest and metal clinked against each other and he watched the first part of this prophecy unfold before his very eyes. His eyes lay fixed upon the water without a moment of rest for this wicked soul. Images burned into his very heart and mind that would drive anyone into madness. This poor soul already went through hell, literally.

Some strange force compelled Korok greatly to wander off into his own domain. Thundering steps crashed down upon the same wooden bridge the forest around him built to get towards his home. His welcome was rather extravagant from his small deku ent friends. The small fellows aligned themselves on the top of his home with different wooden instruments to play something worthy of the King of the Forest.
The trees' branches seemed to stop all of a sudden. Everything around him turned to silence when the instruments just started sounding together to perform something quite hearty even for himself. As he further approached his home, glowing flower pods rose up from his lake to his welcoming in a strange and tantalizing assortment of lights. The music started unfolding hastily with each step.
Deku ents threw themselves from the very top of the tree and swung from vines with small cups of the best wine in Kusana to entwine the vines and then crash their cups together in a lovely assortment. The rest of the little ents that weren't conducting the beautiful assortment of music danced with the crescent shine of the moon that overtook the magical scenery of the lake along with the glowing flowers. His large tree bloomed white flowers that made the petals fall on his tracks with the beautiful music at his disposal. Once his steps stopped, a large root extended from the front of the tree and to his right hand a large cup of the wine. He rose up the cup in triumph and gulped it down heartily.
"Drink up me hearties!" Thus the celebrations continued for the long deserved king!

xxxxxHer thoughts spilled out in rhythm to her pounding heart, questioning intention with the most rapid of speed and the most calm of fluidity. They were treading leisurely, taking every moment to prolong the next. Over grassy plains and through woods, the sun setting on the horizon while bathing them in the warmth of its presence. Soon enough they'd come upon the enormous tree, all around the trees shifting and shuddering as if living and breathing personage. Alex looked over to Greed, smiling softly with a tender visage.
xxxxx"I figured some hand to hand and then I have a few ranger skills. You have any?"
xxxxxShe already knew that Greed was a rank above her, but training was always needing to be done.
xxxxxEventually their journey would come to a finish, the couple walking over the dock to a mossy door at the base of Korok's home.

Steadily they made their way to Korok's house, traversing over a few miles of shady green expanses and ancient tall trees. His claws slipped themselves leisurely in between the gaps of milky tendrils, intertwining their fingers into a familiar shared grip. "After this, we need to go get breakfast. Because i'm like... starving." Words were stated simply as their destination neared. It was a massive tree, much larger than anything else he had seen for miles around. Greed caught her looking out of peripheral vision, and his profile would turn so he was looking her dead on. Ruby lanterns returned her affection, portraying the love that Greed didn't need to voice. "More Capoira? Yeah... I have a lot. just a few diabolus techniques, and then some innerstorm." He said with an idle shrug, before an ebony fist reached up and knocked against the moss covered door. Deviously, his tail began touching her tickle spot; if only for a moment.
The festivities turned to a more tantalizing music when one of his little subordinates climbed down from the tree to speak to his ear of these guests. The celebrating Deku Ents at the top of the tree looked down upon them convoking the spirit of Arduinna, thus summoning a small amount of raindrops in the silvery moonlight. The melody played softly against the squeaky, inching steps that Korok took around his murky bridge and towards his new and awaited guests.
"Iston i nîf lîn" He oddly spoke to her in a manner in which she could understand the Entish words that he babbled. They meant I know your face. Thus, his steps stopped in front of them and rose up his right hand commanding his loyal glowing flowers to light up the way to the entrance of his Fortress. From the clear and shallow water also arose roots to cover their trails from rain and let them not fret under raindrops.
The large man took a half step sidewards and a step backwards while putting his right hand down and lifting his left to say "Tolo ar nin." Thus the very ancient and large tree opened the side of itself by spreading out its large bark in a magical sort of notion. The inside of his domain lay in quiet stillness and solitude with a very large forest within that same tree, and a hammock right in the middle of everything. Glowing pod plants glowed the inside for them to enter his sanctuary
His left hand went down to his side when the Deku ents opened the doors from the outside huts of the tree and looked at both of them with what they would feel like a smile and hypnotizing music coming from the top of the ancient monument. His piercing gaze turned to them, when he spoke once more "My guests, I have been awaiting your pleasant visit. Please do come in."

xxxxxStepping inside the large cozy structure was something to take in. It was quite a surprise when the fully armored man greeted them, of course she knew who it was but that didn't lessen the sight. Her smile died slightly, the ethereal glow dulled to a faint luminance. "Hello, Korok." The young woman bestowing a slight bow as respect but that was thrown out the freaking window in a heartbeat. "You know you don't have to wear all that. Unless you were just trying it on, you old goose." Her pleasant smile returned, tossing glances between Greed and Korok alike. xxxxx"I've come for some training....and perhaps..a rank up? Possibly? I mean, I know you are busy doing..." Actually she had no idea what he did most of the time. The Dreadnought came and went as he pleased, she had never thought to ask. "Well...whatever you do. Greed can spot me for the hand to hand." Fingers interlaced with his again, gripping slightly. But then they turned around and left.

Greed's eyebrows raised slightly at Korok's new ensemble. "Nice house! You're looking nice and... ominous today." One thing was for certain... the man definitely looked the part of a shadow knight now. Alex towed Greed into the house, and he would give the angel a curious gaze at her statement. "Why do you always call him old? He's probably younger than I am." The demon said, before the topic was quickly changed to training. He had completely forgotten that Alex was still Adept. It seemed odd to him, that she had ranked up to that level by beating him; and how much things had changed since then. If somebody had told him six months ago that he would be walking around hand in hand with a nephilim he would give his life for, he probably would have laughed at them... and then stabbed them for even suggesting it. And yet now here he was, in that exact situation. And... he wouldn't have it any other way, ironically. Ebony talons squeezed her hand familiarly as she took his in her own. He of course, would help her out the best he could with Capoira. He had almost the entire style completely mastered by now, so there really wasn't anything he wouldn't be able to teach her.

Korok grasped his right hand slightly, feeling pain and emptiness. The forst lay in quiet stillness. A vague scent of nothingness filled the air. Arduinna told him that his angel had disappeared. This clouded his vision of the prophecy to be foretold. Once again, the wooden doors to his domain lay closed to all who could invade such work of art.
Steps thundered carefully across the ground, while his nature-energy triggered and grass growed wherever he stepped, even if there was no earth. The figure kept on walking ominously away from his home after having drunk the last of his quality wine to another pertinent task at the Kusana Dojo. Within seconds, the figure seemed to disappear in the shadow below his faithful trees, and to the Dojo.

Youroka looked at the paper she was given, and then around her. This was the place. She sniffed the air. It smelled a little stagnate. It shouldn't effect her in this battle, but she had to admit that it did stink. She pulled out a Hanker-chief and tied it around her face. That should help a little bit. Around her, it was still very beautiful, nature was like that though.
As she moved, she made sure that her claws were sharp enough to take out what they needed to, in cause she lost her long sword. Her claws were naturally sharper than others, but it would help when it came to attacking. Her claws slid up, completing her makeshift claw gauntlets. She pulled out her Long Sword out of it's sheath, and placed it in her hands. She then preceded to look for the C.H.A.R.L.I.E.s that she was given to fight.
It didn't take long, she found a group of 4 it looked like they were scouting. She raised her hand, and manipulating her energy around the air, she pulled the four towards her. Then as they got close, she stepped to the side, and ran her claws along their bodies. Blood, and guts sprayed everywhere, as the gutted the with her natural attack. The blood made her black fur wet, and her purple spots darker. If her eyes just glowed as the blood rained around her. It smelled like a fresh hunt. It was not time to eat though, she had to still hunt 46 of the Charlies.
She moved further into the forests around. She saw a group of eight. That might be too hard to have them all taken down, before they surrounded her. She had an idea though. She cleared her throat, and took a deep breathe and started to move towards them. She was so much faster than them. She ran her long sword into 2 of them, they stuck on her blade. Damn she thought to herself. She dropped the blade, leaving the C.H.A.R.L.I.E.S on it, and then moved in with her claws. She had to keep circling around them so that they wouldn't surround her. Maybe taking on 8 at a time was too much. She then raked one with her claws, ripping him open. This was a move used in the wild to bleed the enemy, even if the enemy lived, it wouldn't be for long. They would most likely bleed out because of the deep wounds. She didn't have time to stop to see if that moved killed that one. "3 possibly down...need to wound more..." She still kept moving, yes, she felt tired, but she had to do this, this would help Kranila. At least she hoped it would.
She moved slashed another one with her claws. She saw it fall to the ground, she would have to make sure it was dead when there were less. She was half way through. How long could she keep this speed? It would have to be just long enough. She could give herself a 5 minute break after this. She would have to.
She then raked another one. 3 more left. She was covered in blood though. Even if she rested, they would most likely be able to find her fairly quickly. She would have to risk it. She kept running in circles. She then slashed her claws at another one, and hot blood rained down on her. She must have gotten an artery.
The two left realized that they were not going to live, and tried to run away. They weren't getting away from her. Another slash of her claws, and one of them fell down. "one more...one more..." She stopped running in circles, they couldn't surround her now. If anything most of them were mortally wounded, she would end their suffering. She then ran at the last one, slashing her claws at his neck. A warm spray of blood came down again. She would need someone's help to get out all this blood in her fur.
She then picked up her long sword and removed the corpses from it. it had so much blood on it, but then again, so didn't she. She went up to all of them, and plummeted her sword into each of their necks, making sure that they actually died. She then sat down, needing a quick rest.
Youroka sat down. She was covered in blood. She was starting to feel tired, and she had only killed 12 of them. She still had 38 left. She said she would do it, so she had to. This area would be cleared of these monsters, so that it could be made into something that everyone would benefit from. She took enough to catch her breath.
She then looked around. She then tried her scent. She was able to find a few more. She sheathed her blade. There was no need for it, she would finish them with her claws, like she had with almost all of them.
She ran forward, claws out, and within a flash to them, one of their buddies was dead. Her claws had ripped through it. She then turned her sights on the next one and she was met with a block. She then used her other claw to slice through the arm, making it so that it was no longer able to hold it's weapon. In the mean time, the other one had gotten behind her. That one managed to hit her over the head. When she felt that, she growled slightly. She then sliced open the chest of the one that she was fighting and turned the the one behind her. She slashed through him. She would wait nearby to make sure that neither of them would ever get up again.
She had a slight headache from the hit to her head, but she didn't feel blood oozing from it, so she would be ok.
She looked down on herself. SHe had done the deed. The C.H.A.R.L.I.E.s were gone, they could now develop the land. She was covered in not only her blood, but the blood of her enemies. She was hurting. She needed a good bath and a nap. First she had to turn in this quest though. How would he react to the Weapon Master with all the cuts. She was happy, people would be able to move here.
She got up. Her matted fur did not move well at all. Oh, well. She trudged on, back to where she had came.
