Viola is tall and broad, with a square jawline and broad shoulders. Why they have a large frame and some muscle, it doesn't seem like they possess any great amount of muscle mass on their body. They're just...big. Viola possesses an ever present warm smile and slanted eyes that give them a calm welcoming appearance and keeps their hair in a messy side braid. Has thick brown hair on their arms and legs. Dark brown skin that implies their ethnicity as some mixed descent. They also have a dimple on their left cheek.
They're genderfluid, but use 'he/him' and 'they/them' most frequently. You'll usually have to ask them what they're feeling on whatever particular day, since their clothing choices is not a clear indicator of what they're identifying as. Ever.

Viola was born to a Family of a long forgotten mafia group (taken out by the Gambinos) that was all but wiped out before he was even thought of. Viola's mother, a member of that family who used to be high up, kept the Family together by going into the Casino business. While not well known, the Fortunes have recently decided to take their business out of country and are slowly but surely making a name for themselves.
Their first new location is in Town Over. After much deliberation and thought (and pressure from her child), Viola's mother finally decided to send them off to Merlin. Knowing the rumors about Merlin's attractive student body and having loved ones at the recently opened casino, Viola eagerly went off to attend.

It's hard to talk about Harta's appearance without first talking about his ears. They're odd. They're large and stick out at an odd angle and most likely no one has seen ears quite like them. But other than that, he seems like your averafe young elf. He's kind of short (but not overly so, about 4'11"), he's on the slender side but still in a healthy weight range and and he has a bit of muscle, seemingly built from everyday tasks and not from specific training.
He tends to wear the same thing every day. It seems he does have other clothes (he'll out on a jacket when it's too cold, he'll wear something else when his usual clothes are too smelly) but he seems to like the one set the best. Another usual thing for Harta to wear is a frown. It's hard tk spot him around school without one.

Harta was always expected to take care of his younger siblings. Being the oldest of five, the second oldest being 3 years younger than himself and the youngest barely walking, Harta was expected to be a role model and carer for his siblings. And he loved every second of it. He gained something akin to protective instincts towards his younger siblings, both protecting them from the dangers of the world, but also protecting them from the glances of strangers because of the family's odd looking ears.
Harta was apprehensive about going to Merlin. He rejected going to the first semester of school. But because of certain pressures, he's arrived for second semester.

Lana is about 5'2 and looks like a stick. Her shirt is a little loose and her waist seems just a little smaller than it's supposed to. Not very physically strong, but her magic is unusually potent. (Using it wears her out faster than most.) Lana keeps her hair in a messy bun atop her head to keep it out of her eyes. The only part of her body that is not stick-thin are her legs, which are thick and well-muscled. Thick thighs save lives.
Almost always moving in some fashion. Pacing, leg jiggling, tapping a finger, you name it.

Lana isn't sure when she got there, but she's spent most of her life in Cape Cod. The foster house she eventually found herself at was pushed into the back alley of an otherwise pristine town, near the ocean. Lana often found herself escaping the tiny rooms to spend time down at the ocean, even when the beach was roped off from shark sightings.
A short while before coming to Merlin, Lana's biological parents contacted the foster home she was in and claimed her as their own. Thanks to their generosity, she's able to transfer into Merlin this semester.

A tall and slender, bordering on lanky boy. Jae Hyun has been noted to be fairly attractive and handsome (with skin as smooth as a Korean boyband’s). His hair is bleached white although his roots steadily begin to show with time until he bleaches them again. His favoured fashion style ranges from black and white, to grey and muted blues. Always carries a set of fancy antique keys on him.

There’s not much to know about Jae Hyun, he was born in Seoul, the capital city of South Korea and therefore surrounded by technology and the bustling noise of the city. A normal mother and father and a perfectly fine older brother who acted as older brothers do, tussling here and there but no actual harm done. As a kid and even now, he liked to visit the aquarium and did so incredibly frequently, finding it very calming to stroll through the underwater tunnels.

Casey moderately tall, approaching 5"6. Xe has a very loose gait and easygoing smile. Xe looks moderately fit, and it shows when xe moves. Xir eyes are naturally gold, but xe has been known to wear blue contacts.
Xir most notable trait is xir ears. In place of the normal upturned points expected from a half elf, xe instead has (though a bit misshapen) round ears with scars at the tips.

Casey grew up in a small town in Italy as a child with xir parents, later moving in with their auntcle Loren. Loren worked as a personal assistant (really more of a servant) to a family who ran a blooming flower business.
The environment wasn't a good place for someone Casey's age, so when xe received xir letter Loren decided it was time to pack up and move to Justus. They currently live on the west end of town, with Casey as far caught up to the current curriculum as xe can be from Loren's guidance.

Tall and thin. That's pretty much Fate in a nutshell. She's gangly, which may be a factor in her clumsiness, and she's taller than she'd like to be (approaching 6'). She tends not to wear bright colours all that often, usually staying to blacks and whites and greys.

Fate's always had a pretty ordinary life. Just the moderate dull drums of living near a big city, living with a struggling older sister, having expectations put onto her. You're usual. Actually, she was kind of surprised that her parents allowed her to go to Merlin. It wasn't in their grand plan for her but she guesses that they just wanted her to go and experience new things before she was forced into what was expected.

Beck's a bit of a weakling and looks like it. They're average sized at 5"5 and often covered in mud from frequent frog hunting. His eyes are usually covered with thicker glasses.

Madeline stands about 4'11 and has a very stocky build. Her uniform is a bit tight on her due to a physique that rivals the best bodybuilders. She usually wears a jacket due to an aversion to cold, and keeps her hair tied in twintails. Cheeks are a bit chubby, giving her a cherubic impression. Almost never not seen smiling, and usually goes out with Genevieve at her side.
There is a long scar on her stomach.

When Maddie was about twelve she fell into the Seine and was rescued by a dog, who has been by her side since.
Madeline received her letter at the start of the school year, but due to unfortunate complications involving a ruptured appendix she hasn't been able to attend until now.

Sergio lives, and grew up in, the downtown area of a human city with his mother. His father left when Sergio was around 5, and his mother was always very bitter about it, so Sergio grew up thinking of his father as a bad person.
Recently, however, his father has returned to try to make things better. He continually buys gifts and and spends time with Sergio to try to make up for all the lost time, but it only makes Sergio uncomfortable.
Sergio views going to school at the Academy of Merlin as a way of escape from having to deal with his dad, and is very excited about it.
