Up and looking for something to do, Daisuke had headed outside again, since the sun was out he was happy. The red kit had decided to explore just inside of the treeline and found small piles of snow that had not yet met the warmth the days brought. He was also noticing new growth, green buds and sprouts on the trees and forest floor.
After a time alone, Daisuke headed back towards the house, wanting company, in his mind he thought, maybe he'd wake Tria-nee-chan, but also there was a thought; maybe he'd run into someone else, there were possibilties for many others besides his dear older sister; He loved his sister, she was fun, most of the time. But there were also other things to do besides playing and exploring. Like what...
His thoughts seemed to argue back and forth and he was distracted as he walked into the clearing of the yard.
Dark Fire Angel
Seated on the porch were two kits that had no doubt NOT been there when Daisuke had headed down; in fact, they had only just arrived. One of the kits, white hued, seemed quite perky, flopped over the other kit's body, slowly munching her ear, tugging slightly, "Come on! Come on! Kala, we can't PLAY if we stay here! Let's play tag! I wanna play tag!" Mina kept on pulling on her cousin's ear quite insistently, however, she was eliciting merely some whimpers from the young peacock.
"I don't want to play out THERE though... where am I supossed to hide if a wolf comes? Or if that vampire you keep on saying's going to take you away comes...?" another whimper as she slowly hid her eyes from view, placing her black hued paws over them, "Vampires are not in my top priority list..."
Though Mina did not agree, she stopped her assult on her cousin's ear, "Awww... come now, there are no wolves, and I predict my vampire won't come till I grow anyhow, it's safe to play tag!" Still no answer from the peacock aside a slight whimper a deep, deep blush, her tail coming to curl around her body. Thus so, the young lady gave up and slid off Kala's back. In fact, she was just about to push the peacock's ... slightly limp body back inside when she spotted Daisuke, "Suuuuuki~~" she waved a paw, hopping up and down on the porch, "Will you play tag with me? Kala's scared."
"I am NOT! I'm just...." a pause, "Uhm... wary...." came the clarified answer, her words muffled from beneath her paws.

Blinking back into the world, away from his arguing thoughts, the red hued kit looked to the porch where Mina and the other kit sat, he smiled to the ever friendly female, "Hallo Mina-chan!" and somewhere in the back of his mind the dark voice smirked but said nothing. He ran the rest of the way to the porch and lept from the ground, up to land near the females completly avoiding the few steps.
"I'd love to play tag," he said to her before looking to Kala "And we'll play nearby so if you wanna join us..." His gentle offer trailed off, "I'll protect you." He teased.

It took poor Kala two seconds two blush deep crimson as she peeked at the new kit from under a paw, squeaking slightly as she burried her head under her cousin's body, eliciting an 'oof' sort of sound from her, "...." her tail twitched rapidly before she hid it behind her back leg, her frame shuddering slightly.
Having Kala... partially hidden under her body, Mina blinked slightly, her head tilting to one side at the strange sensation, "Don't be offended, she kinda does this with eeeeeeeverybody, no exceptions," pawing her cousin from under her body, and thus forcing her to curl around herself to remain at least partially hidden from view, the white kit turned her attention back to Daisuke, having not caugh the diference in entonation or... motivation within the red kit's voice, "Yes! Let's play! Let's play!" this said, she offered him no more time and swiftly pounced him, aiming to land atop him, her nose sniffling around his body.
The peacock, unlike Mina... had somehow noticed the diferent entonation within his last words, and though she felt more than slightly flustered, she lifted her paws again to watch her cousin and Daisuke, "Uhm.... what's your name? Mine is Kalapi..."
"You can call her Kala by the way, less of a mouthful, and she won't mind!"

"Oof" Mina was not too heavy, but unexpected. Daisuke was now flat against the chill wood of the porch, chin hitting just slightly. "When did tag become 'Daisuke pancake'?" This was said softly and with a slight blush. He was only slightly less flustered with the closeness than usual, but he had come to expect it from his soft white friend. And who really would mind such a cute female glomping on one anyway? "Eh?" Shaking his head just a bit, to chase away such odd thoughts and the slight sting in his chin he looked to the peeking peacock.
"My name is Daisuke, Niwa Daisuke, you can call me whatever you want, may I call you Kala?"
At this point he had moved his paws and was attempting to shift his weight to stand, with Mina still piggybacking.

Mina took a momment to ponder his question over, but since she found no answer smart enough to be uttured, she did the second best thing... which just so happened to be looking down at him, smiling innocently before pushing her nose softly against his, "I dunno!" as Daisuke shifted his weight, the smaller female allowed herself to be rolled till she was quite simply... piggyback ridding the boy, "Tag is a fun game, and I think.... Kala should be It!"
At the suggestion, the young peacock swiftly lifted her head off the ground, a squealed meep escaping her maw, "What? Why me?! I didn't lose this time!" the words had a hint of despair edged into them, her strangely colored yes widening as she regarded her cousin, whom was merely smiling back down at her from her piggyback ridding position, "I dun wanna be It! It means having to seek others out; I'm much better at the whole hidding part than the seeking part..."
"You're good at the running part!"
A cute little whine answer Mina however as Kala sat up, glancing anywhere but directly at the two kits before her, "And.... you can call me Kala, yes... I'll call you Daisuke..." a pause before she risked a peek, "Can you be it, Mina?" a pleading gaze acompained her words, to which her cousin rolled her eyes but said nothing; it was obvious Mina was thinking something along the lines of 'I can't very well be IT if I'm happily piggy back ridding, huh?', however, Kala's gaze did not waver, a soft, sweep purr acompaning her words.

Daisuke grined at the upside down face of Mina, blushing all the more when she touched her nose to his, he purred just a little; he sorta missed the first bit of the girl's exchange, thinking.
She is cute.
I think I'll take her if you don't want her.

An almost suave grin broke out on the kit face, "I think I'm a faster runner anyway, I can catch you girls both before you can blink." -Wink- The challange was issued by the dark one, but still in the kit's voice, during the day, the young one's will was strong, and Dark held no sway.

Completely unaware of whatever was going on in Daisuke's head, Mina slowly slid off the boy's back, "Oki-docky then!" came the cheerful chirp, "Suki can be it," this said, she pawed at Kala, whom hesitated only a second before turning tail and running off around the house, "I'll go hide too then! But I BET you can't catch ME!" she bumped her nose against his, holding it there, a sauve smirk breaking across her own maw, "If you can catch me, you can ask me to do whatever you want as a gift!"
As soon as the words were uttered, the white hued kit swiftly bolted for the tall grass and the back of the house, lingering somwhere around the feli pond.
Meanwhile, Kala had slowly snuk under the tall grass, hidding under a window of the feli house; tell truth, even though her frame was small... and partially hidden by the grass, her vivid colors offered her nearly ... no hidding place at all.
As soon as the words were uttered, the white hued kit swiftly bolted for the tall grass and the back of the house, lingering somwhere around the feli pond.

Daisuke bit his lip, he wanted to move back a step and stammer something - anything, but Dark held his body in place. He had a plan after all.
When he tried to move the kit's body hesitated, Dark~! The mental yell stopped the other one for a moment, "What are you?" The kit spoke aloud addressing the dark one.

Her eyes searched the pond water before she wrinkled her nose acordingly; no, getting all wet just to hide would simply NOT do, "Mmmmm..." her nose lifted in the air, tracking down Daisuke's secent, trying to figure if he was near of far yet; she needed time to find a good hidding spot. As her gaze laid upon the tree in the near distance, she grinned; she'd hide herself behind the trunk and wait there.... if Daisuke came, she'd easily round the tree and dive... elsewhere.
With these thoughts in mind, the kit swiftly settled herself there quite silently, for not only was she cute, but smart as well... sharper than Kala'd ever be, that was for sure.

Being that the object of this game was to be quite sneeky, so thought Dark anyway, Daisuke just thought it was run and catch, he had devised a simple plan, find Kala first, and get her to help.
It was nearing night fall, the swiftly setting sun still shone but the day was waning and as such Dark's time and power grew, it wasnt hard to coax simple thoughts through the link in their minds; find Kala, ask her help.
Because the dark was silent Daisuke paid no mind to the thoughts the seemed to pop into his head, even if he was confused, the kit felt no malice from the dark one. Daisuke was innocent and naive to a fault in this, for Dark did indeed feel some ill will, as it was, he had always been known to his tamer, welcomed by the Niwa family, given some small measure of freedom to do what he had to do, but here there was none of that and so Dark was bitter.

A squeal ansered his call, "I'm not here..." almost as instantly as she'd spoken, the peacock feli placed her paws over her maw, mentally kicking herself for being so smooth, however, the self-tprment lasted for a mere two second sbefore she slowly lifted her head, the kit's strangely colored eyes gleaming in the dimming sun, "Uhm... I forsake," she whispered softly, "I'm not good at this game..." or any other game that included being sneaky or alltogether... running or hidding and not being found, tell truth, however, she kept the thoughts in her head and did not voice them.
A pause followed, during which the blue female slowly moved out of the grown grass, "Did you win?" she was obviously asking if the red male had found Mina, however, as she glased over Daisuke's shoulder, she'd swiftly found that ther cousing was infact.... not there. How odd.
