Akin to the great cavern of Yoruichi and Urahara's the terrain is a rocky, canyon-like field with great jutting spires of earth and steep slopes as well as sharp cliffs and a distant mountain range. The earth is dry and hard, unforgiving as it should be, the air warm and the sky free of clouds. It is a day to do battle, and what better a field?

As the dust is blown around the Canyon by a few simple gust of wind and the warmth of the beating sun, continues to dry the earth. Nothing could be heard, except for the gust of course. Just then from out of the sky, fell a 10ft long Zanpakutou. It hit the ground of the Canyon, impaling it self 3ft within it. Shortly after Lloyd appeared standing on the back of the blades hilt, His arms in his Haori Sleeves and his face emotionless. The light breeze caused his short brown hair to almost dance on top of his head. His Captains robe blowing ever so gracefully in the breeze. He was waiting, waiting for his opponent to show him self. For it was here , on this harsh land that he was to do battle with darkness it self......and so ..... he waited.
Waiting, sitting upon a crag of rock, the dark entity absorbed the surroundings chosen for the battle to come. With lidded eyes the dark god remained perched even as the massive blade fell from the sky and impaled the earth, its Shinigami partner landing atop it shortly after. Dark pools of sulfuric amber gazed out at the Shinigami as he too stood awaiting the match's beginning. He knew what he'd be fighting, knew that he'd be taking on the greatest challenge he'd faced in a long time. He knew he stood before the King of Hueco Mundo."Lloyd. Finally....You've kept me waiting....Make me wait no longer. Come."

Lloyd looked to Caelum, his eye's alight with a burning Fury. Lloyd cracked a slight smirk as he continued his piercing gaze. He disliked fighting but he couldn't help but become excited about this particular fight, for this fight would not be easy, this fight would push him to his limits.
"Then wait you will no longer..... Hado #91.... Senjū Kōten Taihō!!! "
Lloyd faced the palm of his right hand towards Caelum and soon several Spears of light were summoned all around Caelum, then all at once they rushed towards him attempting to all hit him at once. The result of contact would be a rather large explosion.........however Lloyd's attack was not done yet. He mad a fist with his right hand and then extended his index and middle finger, pointing towards Caelum.
"Hado #90 Kurohitsugi!!"
Soon after shouting those words four black walls would start to form around Caelum and attempt to seal him and the explosion in a black box. If the box were to complete with Caelum inside it, several spears of darkness would then attempt to pierce his body from head to toe.
Good, he did not intend to keep Him waiting at all. When the first words came from Lloyd's mouth, Caelum smiled. That is all that would be seen before He suddenly appeared, only a buzz announcing His arrival, directly in front of him under his extended palm with fist cocked back for a punch, before He loosed a bone breaking, organ hemorrhaging punch at the Captain's gut. He didn't wait for the name of the incantation, nor did He allow for the follow up; He went for the one universal weakness in Kido utilization, the name and execution movement. The punch would throw even a hardened fighter like Lloyd several meters and flying clean off of his zanpakuto."A nineties level Hado....Good...."

Lloyd was in mid incantation when Caelum appeared just under his right hand. Lloyd eye's shifted instantly towards the incoming Punch that now neared his gut. He had almost no time at all to comment or think. His hands seem to move on their own, his left found it's way to the right side of Caelums left hand's wrist which was the hand being used to punch Lloyd. Lloyd then dropped his right hand down to the left side of that same hand close to the elbow of that hand and at the same time pushing off of his Sword towards Caelum rather than backwards. Lloyd then used the position of his hands on Caelum's plus the forward movement of pushing off to move the Punch towards Lloyd and at this moment pushing his left shoulder forward and to the right of Caelum's body and also pushing his held hand to the left. Lloyd then released the arm as it was out of harms way and continued to rotate while bring up his right elbow which was now full of energy and upon completing the turn aimed his elbow for the back of Caelum's neck.
"Counter....."
Lloyd said under his breath as his eye's and his expression showed an unusual calm for someone being in his situation.
Suddenly Caelum was being tugged forward in a counter He was pleased to have not expected, purely out of its uncommonness. To be pulled in anything resembling "towards" the opponent...It was a refreshing change of pace. That was twice His Right Hand had pleased Him. He was beginning, already, to think He could enjoy this fight. He stumbled half a step, but this came to work in His favor as it created a half step's distance between the two. That precious distance was the opportunity to pivot with a shift of His weight and turn to His left, as though in a dance, with a crouch under the swinging elbow. The spin gave the right hook He aimed more than enough force to send the man flying into a nearby cliff face.
Only, He didn't. Instead, He sonido'd directly behind the Captain with a finger pointed at the point between his shoulder blades, a blue orb sitting on its tip."Cero."At essentially point blank range, Caelum released the Cero. However, the rub wasn't in the immediate danger to the Zero Division Captain, it was also if Lloyd dodged, as was the most obvious and rational thing to do, Caelum would simply blast his zanpakuto.

Lloyd was surprised that Caelum did not follow through with his initial attack, this mere delay was enough. Lloyd zanpakutou was in sight now and Caelum's presence shifted to that of behind him, his finger very close to Lloyd's Back. Lloyd pushed forward towards his Zanpakutou reaching for it with his right hand. Caelum announced the Cero and as it was fired it trailed directly behind Lloyd as his hand gripped his hilt. He then attempted to drag the sword through the earth and to the right as he pushed his left shoulder forward and pivoted to the right, attempting to throw a vertical slash towards the Cero, but alas he was simply not quick enough to complete that movement. So instead he reversed his right hand grip and brought the blade to face the cero while it was still partially in the ground and he was positioned in such a way that his right shoulder would be facing the Cero. As it connected with his zanpakutou first and then his shoulder partially second. it would seem to engulf him. As it subsided Lloyd was still standing there with his Captains robe brunt away and his right sleeve missing exposing his entire right arm and part of his shoulder. It had a few burns but Lloyd seemed to still be as calm as he was at the beginning.
"As expected from someone of your Standing Lord Caelum...however..."
Lloyd swing his Zanpakutou Vertically in the direction of Caelum sending a Crescent moon shaped wave of pale white energy towards him. Lloyd then swung the blade down vertically at an angel to the left of him self sending another one. Then he swung the blade horizontally to the right of him self sending one finally one . It would resemble the number 4 if one were to bother look at it.
"Is that all you got?"
Lloyd said in a condescending manner. Even though he really was in trouble at the moment having taken near massive damage so quickly in the fight and on top of that he was having some trouble keeping his focus all of the sudden. Could the Cero have hit him harder than he had anticipated?
The blast caused gusts of wind to fly from the force; it was the King's Cero after all. Clothes rippling in the resulting winds, Caelum looked on with sulfuric eyes. As the blast met with its target Caelum's expression did not change. "Hmph."With a fierce backhand He slapped the first crescent into the second, instead of taking it head on simply redirecting it. The last He simply dropped under, being a good 7 feet off of the ground. However it was what came after that pleased him. The way with which Lloyd responded, how he took being blasted directly by Caelum's Cero, the first taste of Caelum's hostile reiatsu. This gave Him cause to smile. Coming back down to ground level, the King touched down on the ground and began to slowly walk forward."Good...Keep it up, stay strong. Do not falter, My Right Hand. I wish to enjoy this. Show me the strength of the Royal Guard...."The Deus then allowed His reiatsu to erupt from His person. There was no reason to hold back now, not against one of Lloyd's caliber. The sky seemed to darken as His reiatsu flooded the scape. Then suddenly He was gone, reappearing in the air with an axe kick heel drop aimed for Lloyd's head. And He came with intent to kill. Such a strike, if it missed its target and hit ground and shatter the earth beneath creating gaping chasms in all directions and a large cloud of dust.

As his attack failed and Caelum addressed him Lloyd's eye's seemed to flicker As if attempting to follow his movements But alas this was not his strong point and he lost sight of him but as soon as he reappeared Lloyd was already gone with the used of Shunpo. The ground erupted violently as Caelums attack would devastated the ground upon which it hit. Lloyd reappeared in the air and his Reiatsu exploded. As it did so it seem to part the Darkness in the sky just around where he him self was. His Zanpakutou glowed with a pale white aura.
"Hear Me roar..."
Lloyd had released his Shikai and upon doing so he Vanished once more appearing above Caelum his Zanpakutou in a downward motion but just as it neared Caelum Lloyd would Vanish yet again, but this time appearing to Caelums right and attempting a horizontal slash but before it could come into contact with him, Lloyd once again Vanished but reappeared above Caelum once more Bringing his zanpakutou down with immense force and vast amounts Reiatsu attempting to Crush Caelum under the massive amounts of force, pressure and raw weight of his Zanpakutou. The resulting hit, even if it would miss would cause the ground to crack and cave in like a crater for 10ft in all directions from the point of impact. The energy stored in the Zanpakutou is released at at once on to what ever it hits. In which case would either be Caelums left shoulder or the ground beneath him.
The ground was crushed beneath the heel of the Hollow King, the earth erupting in great fissures as the force rent the earth. Caelum righted Himself afterwards and looked out at where He sensed His opponent and crouched to launch Himself skyward.So he's finally releasing Shikai...Suddenly a blade appeared nearing Him and instead He threw Himself towards His left in evade, but it appeared it mattered not for Lloyd's attack suddenly came from His right. The Deus quickly whirled in an attempt to whip a force wave from a powerful kick at the man, but this attack, too, fell through. Stopping midway, He sensed the incoming attack --the mass of reiatsu was hard to miss-- and sonido'd away. However the force caught Him step and flung him from its power through a jutting crag and boulder and skidding to a halt. However, before He hit the ground, Caelum loosed two Bala at Lloyd.
Skidding to a halt, He looked up and kicked off behind the Bala with such force it cratered the ground beneath Him, His reiatsu burning about His body leaking into the field and His surroundings. Aimed for the moment right after Lloyd truly hit ground, He spun into a twist kick to send Lloyd flying into a nearby cliff face. If one could consider about 200m "nearby". Shooting into the cloud of dust and earthy smoke, the Bala would be slightly more difficult to detect, especially with Caelum's reiatsu signature flooding the place.

After Lloyd's attack He looked up to see where Caelum was thrown but at that very instance, Caelum and launched a counter attack. A kick, towards Lloyd mid section that sent him sailing for at least 200meters into the side of a cliff. Upon his impact there was a thunderous crashing sound. The entire side of the Cliff crumbled and most of it fell back into the canyon, forming a very large pile of earth. Then after everything had sub sided, it went quiet. The only sound that could be heard was the sound of the wind blowing. The added Bala in the attack also proved to add to the attacks devastation. Then suddenly the Earth began to shake. It was a slight tremor or so it would seem. It was at this moment that Lloyd's pale white reiatsu Shot out of the debris, clearly it away from his body. His body seemed to be still for the most part whole, there was a bit of blood coming from his mouth. His eye's seemed to stare Directly towards Caelum.Then, he vanished and re appeared a bit closer to Caelum but he soon vanished again and again and again, each time appearing to get closer and closer to Caelum , until , finally he appeared just 12 feet away from Caelum. He swung his Blade horizontally sending a massive crescent moon shaped wave of energy towards Caelum. It was stronger than his previous versions but almost in the same motion he would jump up and throw his blade down into the ground beneath him self and upon doing so, there was a massive shock wave of energy which ripped through the ground and almost instantly cause the ground to erupt for 500 meters. First the ground would crack before shooting up in jagged edged slabs before folding over on their selves and then sinking into the abyss of a very large and deep crater. Lloyd would be standing on top of his Zanpakutou's hilt and the only bit of earth that would still be standing is the earth the zanpakutou it self was stuck in. It would look like a pillar of earth was shooting out of the center of the crater. Lloyd as re shaped the land scape. Lloyd was whispering as well, whispering a few words to him self as attacking was taking effect.
Slowly righting from the skid along the craggy ground, Caelum's sulfuric eyes of hellish yellow gazed on towards the dust and rubble of the crash site where Lloyd had impacted."So...this is the strength of the Royal Guard...."There was a disappointment to His voice as He spoke, each word a murmur, no louder than a muse. Yet still He looked on. After all, the man was not done yet. He could not be, not until either Caelum Himself said thusly or the man's head rolled at His feet. Figuratively speaking. ...Or not so. Regardless, it did not appear as though Lloyd had any possibility of victory. Certainly not how he was fighting now.
It was just as He thought this that the ground trembled. With the pale light fountaining into the air, Caelum looked on, unimpressed. At least finally it seemed the man would grow serious. And the Deus would respond in kind. Standing His ground as it began, He watched Lloyd approach.I shall crush his resolve....The Hollow King resolved as He then saw the first wave attack approach. This one was certainly more powerful thant he last, yet still Caelum thrust out a hand to meet it. The moment He did so the ground behind Him seemed to rumble before erupting from the sheer force. Lloyd's strike was powerful indeed. But Caelum refused to give ground. Even as the energy sizzled and burned His hand, cutting into the flesh. Only just. Eyes narrowed, expression stoic and unchanged, Caelum clutched and squeezed the pale wave until it shattered in His hand. Even as it cut and dug further into His hand. However the blood but turned to black mist and seemed to steam from His hand before suddenly the ground was gone beneath his feet.
Clinging to a falling crater fragment, Caelum displayed no signs of worry, regardless of whatever went on in His head. But He was certainly going to give Lloyd reason to worry. The steaming from early coalesced into a small black sphere at the center of His hand."Gran Rey Cero."Suddenly from the gaping black chasm came a whirling compressing ball of volatile energy with the strength wipe entire city blocks from existence. And it was heading right for Lloyd where He stood at the center of the crater. Mere moments later a buzz sounded announcing the King's sonido behind Him, boulder-sized crater fragment in hand. With a violent swing Caelum attempted to slam the boulder piece directly into Lloyd's wounded arm. However, in the same maneuver, Caelum's body was twisting to attempt to grasp the hilt of Lloyd's zanpakuto upon which the Shinigami stood.

"a gran ray cero? i'm used to that" Lloyd thought to him self as the energy was now forming in Caelums hand. Lloyd pushed down on his Hilt and the pillar shattered, at the same time he reached down for his Zanpakutou's hilt with his right hand at the same time pushing his left hand backwards and it was at this time that Caelum would appear. "He does like my back , doesn't he?" Lloyd thought as he fired a simple hado to Meet Caelum.
"Shō"
Lloyd was whispering the incantation during his last attack.Even though it was a low level Kido, it was fully incanted and it would deliver a powerful push to Caelum if it hit him. However there was no time to dally. Lloyd had now gripped his Zanpakutou and as he dived towards the gran ray He would use his blade to cut right through it. splitting it into two and allowing it to pass right by him on both sides of his body. When Lloyd impacted on the bottom of the crater there was a stillness as he stood back up. His Spiritual pressure surging once more as a pale glow could be seen around his Zanpakutou and both his hands. small rocks and pebbles began to flout off the ground and hover just around his body.Lloyd's general aura seemed to have changed, his expression still blank but his eye's seemed to burn with a fighting spirit. He awaited Caelums next attack, this time he would be the one to counter.
