This is just to get the idea floating around in everyone's head, but I would like to know if anyone would be interested in participating in a Guild Secret Santa? ^__^ Things I want to know include...
1) Do you wanna do it?
2) How much should we make the gifts be? I've seen other threads and guilds and stuff do ranges such as 5k-15k, 10k-30k, or even 25k-50k. I'm interested to get feedback on this. I know that inflation is rather high right now, but that doesn't mean that there aren't cute/awesome cheap things. Makes gifting kind of fun and challenging, too.
3) If you participated, would you want to post up a small mini wishlist, or maybe just have a note referring to check out the wishlist on your profile (assuming you have one, that is - most people do :3), or would you rather just randomly find something to send to your person?
4) Would you want to guess who your Santa was? :3

that'd be fun, but we could also do it with the eggs too. Like on Christmas we can teleport people an egg. biggrin

Like on Christmas we can teleport people an egg. biggrin problem with doing eggs is some people may get locked with holiday eggs (past ones from the ap plus the new holiday dragon) so would not have room to hold a gift or receive one. I think a secret santa would be fun. I don't have much gold so I'd say maybe the 5-15k range would be cool.

Going to answer 2&3 together.
I think we should have 3 low cost items and 3 high - wishlist - items. 3 is just a number I like, it could be any number really. I also really like the dragcave incorporation. I have a weird lineage holly that someone might be interested in.

Could be fun.

As far as the gifts are concerned, I'd say somewhere in the middle would be best; 10-30k mayhaps? Getting them from wishlists could make it easier, but surprise gifts would be a lot more interesting and fun. And while I do like the egg idea, I'm not sure it's all that practical for some people; I know I am almost always full. Lastly, it's not very secret if we find out who was who, you know? •°·═══❦ 秋時間 ❦═══·°•

So what I'm hearing is that a pretty good price range sounds to be about 10k - 30k, hmm? :3 Well, they'll be more like guidelines. If people wanna give more ((or less, but I hope nobody gives less than 10k D: )) it's totally up to them. I also like the idea of maybe having a few random cheap-ish things on your wishlist. I think, for sake of ease, I'll just ask that people add items to their actual wishlist and make sure that it's available and visible and stuff.
As far as eggs go... mmmmm... the more I think about it, the more I'm leaning towards saying no to the eggs for right now. It just seems like it would be way too confusing, and then people would have to make sure to have spots open in their scrolls, both to accept eggs and maybe to be a secret swapper. I will say, though, that if you want to secretly send someone an egg, you can go right ahead and arrange that between yourselves. ^_~
