By passing through town on the way to the noodle shop, one can learn many things. For instance, it could be learned that tonight there would be a meteor shower was to take place above them. Now, most would ask why Anakyri didn't already know about the meteor shower prior to passing through town - as anyone who knew her personally knew that she was head over heels for anything related to what was behind that force field of an atmosphere. One also had to realize though, that this was an unexpected meteor shower, and was caused - apparently, by to two large asteroids colliding relatively close to Earth and subsequently creating a spray of smaller rocks to fan out beautifully before burning up in their atmosphere. Spread out in front of her was the paper detailing the event, with cute little doodles drawn in the edges by someone who was obviously just as interested in space as she was. 'How thoughtful', she mused, 'That someone would take moments out of their time to share this with others......I think I'll keep this, as a memento then'. Ana smoothed out the paper, decreasing the amount of wrinkles and making it easier to see the words - though she'd already skimmed through it multiples times, but sighed when it just wrinkled back up. She soon felt a creeping sense of disappointment sink into her, while staring blankly at the paper, as she remembered that she had no one to share this discovery and excitement with and would have to watch the skies alone.

During one of her usual strolls through town, Aria had managed to overhear a radio broadcast talking about an upcoming meteor shower. This of course piqued the star-born female's interest, and currently she was out looking for some small snacks to carry with her when she would head to look for a good place to view the celestial spectacle. The whole concept of hunger and other such worldly needs was still rather new to her, and the grumbling of her stomach just confused her. After all, stars didn't eat. Not many Earth foods really seemed inviting to her, either, so he largely stuck with nuts and vegetables. Taking the life of something seemed very improper to do.. stars gave life, so it would be against her very being to eat something that had been slain.
As usual, Aria seemed to be in a world of her own, walking the streets in a bit of a daze. The melodies of all the living things around her captivated her so, she didn't always even remember to pay attention to where she was going. Not that the destination usually even mattered to her - she had no home, or other obligations. Soon, she arrived at the noodle shop she found herself visiting more and more often, and there, a fox who she had come across a few times already, whose melody was growing familiar to her. What a fortunate coincidence, one could have thought.
She recalled this female had a fascination with Aria's origin - outer space. Mayhaps they could even view tonight's meteor shower together? "So we meet again", she finally said, a faint hint of a smile showing in her glowing golden eyes.

Instantly, like a strike of lighting, at hearing the female's voice and watching her come into view - Anakyri felt elated. Yes! That was the solution! This femme, Aria, she could watch the show with her! Darting her eyes towards the female, she soon darted her body towards her as well - once again gathering Aria's paws in hers, "We do! Like fate!" She grinned, and looked into the other fox's shining eyes, "So there's this thing tonight, Aria, this wonderful and glorious thing - and it's to happen! In a few hours! How exciting right!? Well, it would be if you knew what the thing was, wouldn't it? Well! It's this shower, not a normal water shower type thing, no! A meteor shower. Boom! Blast! There, instant excitement!" She grinned even wider, if possible, and release one paw to point upwards into the clouds, "A beautiful, wonderful, lovely meteor shower! Like shooting stars, but not! Close, yet so far!" She moved her tiny toes in a fashion like 'twinkling' and then looked back at Aria, recapturing her paw. "How would you - Aria, like to attend this event with me, Anakyri? Huh? Huh!?" She pressed forward, pushing her nose into the other females, looking expectant and hopeful - trying to put on an expression that Aria could just not say no to.

Anakyri's excitement brought a faint smile to Aria's face. Who wouldn't be amused by such enthusiasm. It was almost.. endearing, as alien as the notion was to her. Emotions were still something she wasn't used to, nor was able to express well, but she sensed them from others quite strongly. Maybe spending more time with Anakyri would help her bring forth more emotion as well. She nodded softly in response to the other female's proposal. "I happened to hear about this meteor shower", she admitted. "And you did come to mind on my end, actually.. I would be glad to accompany you."
Anakyri's paws were warm against Aria's own, though the other femme's closeness made her feel a tad nervous and awkward. Physical touch was strange, although pleasant. It was another thing she still needed to grow accustomed to.
"I wonder how long it will last", she pondered. "I have not seen a meteor shower before, so I hope it will be something I can imprint in my memory and cherish forever." It would indeed be lovely to experience something like this with a friend - she had very few of those - and Anakyri was indeed the ideal companion for an event like this. Her enthusiasm and friendly demeanor were very soothing to Aria, and she thoroughly enjoyed the effect the company had on her.

Her eyes twinkled as she breathed in with excitement, "So you've heeeeard~!" She twittered, "How delightful!" Anakyri was even happier to hear that, when hearing about the shower, Aria had thought of her! How joyous, because, really - what was better than being the first to come to the mind of a lovely, and wondrous noodle such as Aria? Especially for such a starry occasion! A dream come true, this was, really! Marvelling at the female in front of her, she bowed her back and dipped forward, "It would be a pleasure! For the both of us! I promise! You won't regret it"
Letting go of the paw, Ana glanced at the sky, "Oh, in our hearts it will last forever! In the sky? Welliunno...." She trailed off, turning to Aria and laughing. She nodded at the wise female's words and gazed happily at her, "Oh, like I said, I'm sure. It will be only of a beauty to match yours!" She assured with glee. "We should probably get ready for it. Would you like to buy some snacks for the occasion, before we head off?"

There seemed to be a particular warmth in the faint glow of Aria's eyes as she smiled at her friend. Yes, she had managed to make a friend. Friends spent time together in this manner, thought of each other, missed each other when apart.. right? That was what she'd come to understand, anyway. "I am glad our paths crossed today.. for I am certain we both will enjoy this occasion much more with pleasant company", she said, her small wings fluttering slightly, causing the beads to chime and tinkle against each other.
"And I was in fact searching for food items to bring with me to wherever we might head to view this spectacular", the dark colored female continued, shifting about as she tried to think of her next destination. "I am partial to nuts and fruits, and would enjoy partaking in such", she finally said with another slight smile, tail flicking from side to side in a relaxed fashion, but at the same time signalling Aria's interest in the subject at hand.
She would get to experience things earth beings enjoyed.. and with someone who could share her joy of the occasion. It was turning out to be a rather wonderful evening for her, indeed.
