Appearance: Mountain back is a colossus, a giant being made of a living stone. In his truest form he appears to be a gigantic hunch backed leanly built colossus. His hunch being a sliver of a mountain with a massive amount of precious metals and precious gems mixed in. His legs and arms are column like build for bearing his tremendous weight. His hair is green as it is a crop of tangled vines that are part of him. His eyes are orbs of solid silver, while his teeth are giant gemstones. His arms are lean, as are his hands, his face, and his neck. There is a small grove of trees on his back, and there is indeed a mine shaft in his upper back; showing the kind of landscape he was born from. Even in this form he appears to wear clothing, a sleeveless vest and leggings made of vines and trees that appear to have been painstakingly woven together. The vest appearing to have been crafted to fit His deformed body. In his human form he looks like a man of 25 years, standing relatively short even when compared to other humans, and weighing very little. His skin is pale, and his pair a light neon green, as if dyed. His eyes are blue and his form well taken care of. He wears flannel shirts, blue jeans, and boots, always having cigars and a lighter in his pocket.

Title/Rank: Earth Keeper. In the days when colossi were common in the world, they had their own society. There were titles given to those of certain attitudes. Seeing how much concern Mountain Back had for mother earth, he was given the title of Earth Keeper. Sadly, by the time he received this title, he and his brother were the only colossi left alive.
Hobbies/Pastimes: climbing, walking in the forest.
Talents/Skills/Powers:

Transformation: He is able to switch between true form and human form, and back again.

Stone Flesh: In true form his body is made of a living stone that acts like flesh and bone in some ways, but is still stone. There is a heavy amount of magic to this. He is very difficult to harm by modern methods, but it can be done.

Regeneration: All colossi are able to shrug off physical damage not dealt by magic, but overly excessive physical forces can damage a colossus enough to trigger a healing response, which pulls suitable materials from the environment to fix the damage, rather than truly healing it. Once the wound is “healed” the materials used to patch up the damaged area will have become permanently affixed to the spot and so have become part of the colossus. Patches in true form will show up in human form as scars.

Creation: This an ability that is not easy to use. It doesn’t benefit Mountain back at all. It is the process through which he can awaken the magic in areas with suitable landscape and so transform that landscape into a new colossus. It is the ability which allows colossi to grow in number.

Other accessories: a finger sized sliver of silver which he wears on a gold necklace. The sliver is the only surviving piece of his older brother Mesa Shoulder. In true form this manifests itself as a vein of gold that rings his neck and has a small vein of silver in the front.

Health: fit as can be, but if he were truly human he’d be dead from internal bleeding.
Physical Flaws: In human form he doesn’t have any, but in true form he could be called a hunch back. Like all colossi, in human form he is a bit slower than an actual human, and in true form is a slow lumbering giant. High speed movement is impossible for human shaped colossi. Though because of their sheer size they can travel great distances in a relatively short time. Like all colossi he also has slow reaction time.

Background Story:
Mountain back was born into a world where his people were still numerous, but the colossi were already dying out. Humans had created spells that could return the colossi to being part of the landscape. Mountain back was raised by his older brother, Mesa Shoulder, who had been alive for 300 years before Mountain back had been created. Their father was destroyed before either of them had been born. Like all beings Colossi have a gestation period. When an area of suitable landscape and high enough content of magic is awoken by a colossus, it begins to reform into a colossus. It can take hundreds of years for a landscape to finish the transformation, during which time the area must be protected. Mesa Shoulder and Mountain Back were lucky that they were protected by a friend of their father. But that friend has since died at human hands. As has Mesa Shoulder. Mountain back has rediscovered an ancient knowledge. The sliver of silver he wears on a gold chain around his neck, the last piece of his brother, contains a large amount of magic. If he were to find an area with high magic content and unite the last remaining piece of his brother with this landscape, He could hasten the transformation of the landscape and bring a new colossus into the world at a much faster rate. As quickly as a few hours.
